It's a very nice boutique. The reason I stopped in was because I saw a big "SALE" sign... I mean hello, who doesn't love a good sale? Unfortunately the sale was only for the rack outside of the store and the rest of the merchandise throughout the store did not seem to be priced any different than retail. I will say the collection of bags they have is much wider than a lot of other boutiques I have been to. There are some familiar brand names stocked as well as some unique other brands. The staff is helpful and friendly. I ended up walking out with the large le pliage by Longchamp because they had a color stocked that I was having an extremely hard time finding. So as I said before, their range of collections is bigger than what you'd expect. I give 4/5 stars because the store was a little dim and wouldn't have really grabbed my attention if it weren't for the "sale" sign. Additionally, it seems more like a store one would go to when they have a specific item in mind; it's not a store with a huge selection of select pieces from numerous collections. I recently was out-and-about shopping and saw a girl with a "Le Pliage" Longchamp messenger bag. I have many "Le Pliage" style totes, but i had never seen this style before. In the past I have purchased all my Longchamps at Nordstrom only because I live right by the Natick mall, and I never really thought twice about it. I was on Loncahamp's website looking at the bag and clicked on "locate a store near you" Nordstrom came up so I called up and asked if they had the bag in stock. Turns out they didn't carry the bag. I then thought to myself.. I could buy it online...but then I might not like it. For such an expensive purchase I wanted to make sure I loved it. The other store that was listed was London Harness Company. I hadn't heard of them before, but I am very familiar with Wellesley Center so I thought I'd call them up. I called up and gave them the SKU from Longchamp and the man was very helpful in telling me that they did indeed carry my so desired bag. About 20 mins later I drove over and met the man I spoke with on the phone. The store was quiet and he showed me the bag. I tired on many colors and then decided on one. For such an expensive bag I feel I made the purchase the right way and am happy I supported a local store rather than a chain like Nordstrom. read more

Excellent customer service! You have to ask for what you want in this store where it is truly a specialized "boutique" rather than a boring chain store. I used their luggage repair for one of my favorite Bric's duffle bags, and they didn't have to ship it back to Milan to fix it! Reasonable cost and fairly quick turn around, I would trust them again ...and recommend them highly. read more

London Harness is an exceptional store that is run and staffed by experts in their field. Further, they are one of just four independent Tumi dealers in the country. I received excellent and informed service from both Demian, the owner and Dan, one of the employees. The selection is great, the comparisons of various products is done is a low key and factual way and they are happy to make recommendations. It is all too rare in this day and age of on-line and mall shopping to encounter a store like London Harness with an engaged owner who takes a personal interest in customers. When the Boston London Harness closed I assume they were no longer but I am very pleased to have found them in Wellesley and plan to shop there again. Quality stuff but some things are overpriced. I purchased a leather wallet a few years back and it is just beginning to show some wear and at the time I should have purchased a bag but at the time it was $475. I can't imagine the cost now. It's a shame that you have to pay top dollar to get decent quality for things as small as a wallet now but if your shop there pick out the heavy leather items. They last much longer. read more

Carla got me completely set-up with a new distinctive hard size expandable carry on - no more worries about someone else grabbing my boring black bag, and they did on-the-spot monogramming. I wondered where to go since Brett's luggage in Sudbury closed. This is it. London Harness is also taking care of my repairs and have a wonderful selection of gifts and handbags and other items. This is the only place I will be going in the future for my luggage, travel and business needs, along with ideas for gift giving. Finally, their frequent shopper club provides great discounts. I went into London Harness looking for a money clip. I've been looking for a money clip that could also hold my credit cards. I've found some at other stores but I didn't like the quality of the product. That's what you get when you walk into London Harness you get quality. Everyone that works there is very knowledgeable and helpful. I ended up buying a BOSCA and they stamped my initials on it for me. I can't say enough about the people who work at London Harness. My family has purchased many items from London Harness over the years and I recall my grandfather and Father always speaking so highly of the quality, service and specialties within the store as if it were a secret place. As I grew older, I was given London Harness small gifts and when I graduated from Law School, my uncle gave me a London Harness briefcase, I think he was more proud of giving it to me than I was of excepting it and in hindsight the briefcase seemed to make graduating law school and passing the bar examine pale in comparison to the beautiful packaging and soft leather of the mysterious briefcase that would hold the most precious cargo. Recently I found myself shopping in London Harness for Christmas gifts, after spending time with Demian, even though he was super busy at the Holiday Season, I was able to find several gifts, actually over 15 for every member of my family, I even purchased 25 corporate items for my office, everything was wonderfully packaged, gift wrapped and they even went to the trouble and care of noting what each item was and for whom. The store has something for everyone, it is not your relatives old fashioned London Harness, it has new items yet still has the appeal of old fashioned service with high tech attitude. I have and always will recommend the store and its wonderful keepers who maintain the integrity of the brand and the tradition of excellence- and I never give reviews and actually dislike most rating sites. read more
