I thought it was gonna be run by a bunch of good'ol boy/redneck Texans. I was 100% wrong, and that's on me. ALL the young men working there were fantastic. The young man working the register was polite and took the safety briefing very seriously. He's the type of guy you want at the register dealing with clueless customers such as myself. The young men running the track were great. They were polite and accommodating. They helped my short daughter get set up correctly. They made sure we were set and just laid back, nice guys. Was it pricey, 15 laps for $450, but our group had a ton of fun. The track is a bit worn down and could use some maintenance along with the cars themselves. The cars were inconsistent. I had three different cars; each one felt different. My last car drifted a lot, despite driving it about the same as the other cars. Their helmets were old and could use an upgrade. I'm glad I wore my sunglasses and kept the visor up to see more clearly. read more

Great concept and the kids loved driving the carts (which go super fast by the way!). But as a family of 5 - we could not all compete against each other as they separate the "cadets" from the adults. I totally get it is for safety purposes but I would love to have seen an option for "family's". The track is bumpy which I thought added to the appeal, however my husband did not think the same. Also, the added fees can make it a pricey day out. You pay for each 10 minute race, plus a daily set rate maintenance fee, plus the loan of the head sock and helmet, plus taxes. If we go back, we will go earlier and "do" more races plus we will probably bring some snacks (there is only a solo soda vending machine) read more

Amazing karting establishment it was only $29 a race it thought me how to race I love the double karts as well.

Horrible experience. Don't know how they arrange the riding order. If you come here with only 2 people you might need to wait for more than 1 hour as they obviously put you behind every other big group. Do not recommend this place. Zero customer service whatsoever. read more

4 of us mature adults were at the Kartpark for the first time yesterday (6/3/2023). I like the fact the front office for the most part answers their phone. We did have trouble finding it and had to call. I didn't notice they provided a more exact address on their website because it's under the Contact Us - and there is also no way to contact other than phone or in person. So they are getting my feedback on Yelp instead of directly. The front desk staff was nice and very helpful with questions and helping us get the best pricing. My husband checked in online, but he still had to spend more time than needed at the kiosk getting us checked in again. That just creates more waiting in a very small cramped space. The safety video was informative, quick, and to the point. Our two husbands had a better time than us two wives. My first go around the track I felt quite unsafe because of the high testosterone male drivers who were swooping within a half inch of my kart. I spoke directly to two of them during our break and told them how they affected me as a first time driver. They both apologized and I didn't have any issue on the second round - but my best friend did. She had the same unsafe experience and ended up leaving the track after only 4 rounds. Then she heard one of the men bragging about wiping out 3 times on the track, when one of those times he actually hit her. And one time she was sandwiched in between two karts with only inches between the cars for a long time. So this leads me to wonder why the Kartpark doesn't separate riders into groups of racers and guests just looking to have a good time. I did know from the website there would be racers, so I wasn't completely caught off guard, but I doubt I will go back because of this. Their system isn't really designed to accommodate casual riders. It seems the casual riders are actually there to provide obstacles for the racers to get around. The time around the track is ample and with doing two rounds I was getting to know the track quite well. We talked with the track crew while we were out there and they were nice. I did notice two times when they were walking across the track they were moseying across and I had to slow down for one of them. I wonder why they don't get a clip in their step and move across quickly for their safety and for the concern of the drivers. Just seems strange to me. The karts worked well and were as fast as advertised. The track was challenging and overall good fun. A note on pricing: the Military and First Responder discounts are not on top of package pricing. read more

Went here for the first time about 3 weeks ago and suffered a pretty nasty burn on my right side due to some of the karts not having a heat shield. My first race I gave my concerns to one of the employees and he said "yea some of the karts don't have heat shields and the owner knows about it but is too lazy to fix it. My second race I pulled my pants up as high as possible to cover the heat but it was still going through. After my 3rd race my skin was peeling and I had blisters. Keep in mind every race was a different kart not the same. As fun as the go karts were it's definitely not worth a nasty burn and probably won't be back here again. Me and my two buddies recently started go karting as a trio at Dallas Karting Complex. Since it is under construction we've been wanting to branch out. We found this little spot and after we put in our time with a couple heats I can confidently say it's a good spot. We take karting pretty seriously and we compete with our best times. That being said the track really puts inexperienced drivers in a spot that may interfere with the experienced riders due to some of the set ups for the turns. The track is also bumpy so a heavy rider may do better. Other than those two things I had a good time. The carts are plenty safe, unfortunately I got t boned pretty bad in my second heat but walked away with just a bit of bruising. My advice, be careful and learn the track. There's no point in trying to cut off anyone since this is a race against the clock. read more

If you visit their website, it discusses age and height restrictions. What it fails to mention is that the company does NOT run the cadet size karts on Fri, Sat, and Sundays. So if you bring your cadet size/age child 8-12 and 48 inches, they can't drive a kart, they can only ride along in an adult size kart...but wait, there's more. They only have 1 two seat adult kart. Seriously! We asked why they didn't discuss any of this on their website so that we didn't waste our time driving to the business...they said "well we have a sign posted". Took the kids here over the weekend for the first time and had a great experience. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Good safety procedures in place. The karts go FAST... up to 50 MPH but you can give the guys a "thumbs down" if you want them to limit your Kart like my 14 yr old daughter did. So younger kids can have fun too. My 12 yr old and 16 yr old sons loved it too! Track is cool, lots of turns, it's built on an old parking lot so it's bumpy in spots but wasn't too bad. Makes it feel more "real". They have sanitized helmets and "head socks" to protect you. You also wear a neck brace which I appreciated. I would highly recommend wearing gloves to protect from blisters. Only negative is it's fairly expensive for a 10 min race that feels shorter! We spent $230 for the 10pack and that was with a generous discount. read more

Newer track in the DFW area, outdoor karts are new and pretty fast. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A little hard to find on the grounds at Texas Motor Speedway, but a great facility. They stress safety and even have a little safety video for you to watch. We have been out there a few times and I set faster laptimes than my son and my friend, Chris. The prices for racing are reasonable and they provide clean and disinfected racing helmets and neck braces. All you need to bring is closed toed shoes and your A game. Watch out for the hairpin turn, it can catch you off guard. read more

We checked the website for rules, hours, etc. Upon our arrival, the girl at the front desk started off with "they're going to have to ride with an adult." No, they're both over 48" and older than 8 yrs old. "We don't have kadet karts on Fri, Sat or Sun." What?! "Oh, and we inly have one two-seater." So we would have to drive each of the kids, separately, in a single two-seater so they cannot race together in any way? "We have a sign right there." Almost speechless, the rhetorical questions arose: 1. "why do you restrict the kids karts on the weekends, the best time to expect kids?" 2. "if you took time to make a nice sign hanging in the office, why didn't you put that on your website (which is where you would have directed me if we hadn't been in compliance with one of the other rules)?" 3. "with the anti-kid restrictions on weekends, why do you only have one two-seater running???" At least we got the "hope your day gets better" as we left. read more

Honestly the best karting experience you're gonna get in the DFW area. The kids who work here are great and we have been coming once a week for about a year. The entire staff is very helpful and always enthusiastic. Safety is their number one priority. It's because of this place that my 7 year old is obsessed in karting and starting to race competitively. The track it self is alright, it's really bumpy. The biggest complaint I have is with the staff on the track, I wish they would actually do something to control the drivers on the track who spin out of control multiple times. I have been to other high speed go karts tracks in the Dallas area, when a driver spins or skids on a turn too many times, there's actually a member of the staff who pulls you over for a verbal warning. Here, I saw multiple accidents on the track and many karts spin out of control. my go kart was hit from the back which ended up jerking my fingers, thankfully it was a minor injury and just a crushed/bloody nail bed.
