Had a ton of fun playing paintball at this awesome course in Lake Worth! Fun on the Run is an awesome spot to go paintballing if you have never been and dont have any equipment. You can also bring your own if you're an experienced player. They have cheap food and drink options as well. Great attentive staff that are thorough in their instruction for your safety and overall enjoyment of experience. I may go back again after I've fully recovered from the last time. I wanted to take my younger brother on a fun activity. We decide to go here but we didn't want to get hurt by paintballs as we tried to 50 cal option. It... was... a.. blast. It didn't hurt at all and it was filled with a lot of new players like myself and we were all just in a super chaotic nerf type war from younger people to adults having a blast. I like to play here now and bought my marker from here. I would definitely recommend this place. The refs and owners are always friendly and helpful. And the pro shop guy upstairs fixed my brothers marker on the spot and he was more than helpful. read more

I have been coming to FOTR for years. 19 years to be exact and the field has only gotten better. The fields are FUN, the refs wonderful and nice, the whole layout of the park is perfect. Customer service is horrible!!!! I came with all my gear except a tank and they wanted to charge $8-$10 for each item. So I instead bought a brand new tank from the pro shop to have the O ring on the tank busted after 1 game and they wanted to charge me for another one. THERES NO FREE DRINKING WATER. If you ask the employees even the simplest question like where to fill air they will roll their eyes and give some MAJOR attitude. For over priced and attitudes they also have some of the slowest ready ups and it's not worth it. save your money go to DFW Adventure Park or literally anywhere else! Update* They closed and locked the bathrooms 45 minutes before closing time leaving nowhere to change the last game is before 5pm when they don't close till 6pm. Also after I got done and home with only playing maybe 5 games the tank I bought started leaking air. read more

Honestly this was so fun! I was scared of being shot at, everyone told me getting shot really hurts (I can't speak for everyone, we all have different levels of pain), I wore layers, and no bruises! We had a private party for my sisters birthday. 15 of us, we split the cost, so it was like $18-$20 per person. 2 hours with breaks, rentals on mask, gun, 100 paintballs in every gun, 500 more to share with your group within the game. 2 employees refereed our games. Follow the rules. They give you options for games to play. We played captured the flag, elimination, and zombie. Capture the flag was my favorite! We played on 2 different fields. I recommend to cover every part of your body. My sister was shot in the neck, calfs, and hand and it broke the skin. She's fine of course but it did hurt. Wear layers unless you want bruises. Wear shoes you can run in. Don't wear bright colors, you'll be spotted easily. We did buy another case of paint balls and that was another $58 I think between our group. Overall this was a great first experience! Try something new before you say no to it. Our group had a great time! read more

My kids love this place. Lots of good times here and the management and staff try to make this a family friendly environment. Natasha has been amazing at helping us out with any problems we ever have! She deserves a raise! The staff are quick to help the kids out with any needs they have to ensure they have a great time. That said- watch out for the bad apples! Today, my son's friend had his face mask stolen. It was a $120 face mask. Some older kid came by and "helped" him and his friends by lending them his cleaning stuff for their paintball guns. As soon as he was done "helping them" he packed up his stuff quick and walked away with the face mask. The kids didn't know what had happened. After Mansfield paintball shut down we wanted to have a private birthday party for our son. I must say we were spoiled with Mansfield paintball. Although fun on the run had some good fields we did more walking in between fields then playing and at one point we're brought back up to the seating area to "wait for another field". My review may be a bit biased, I use to work here but I played here for a couple years before I got a job and then worked for them for about a year or so and I still play there whenever I get the chance. The price may seem much to some people but it's honestly worth it. Tons of out of state people and even locals will all tell you it's the best paintball park around. Lots of great fields and a well trained staff make this park work flawlessly. read more

This place is good but not the best. I personally play Airsoft and they only have airsoft on Saturday I think which kinda sucks for me. Most people who play are pretty nice and so are the refs but their is some people who don't call hits but I guess there is nothing anyone can do about that. The fields. 5/5 Playing on the fields is great they have decent amount of people playing on Saturday and Sunday's. Several maps to play on and will take votes to what mode we play. Everyone is friendly and kids have a blast. The pro shop. 3/5 I had issues with my gun took it to the shop for repairs, took about 2 weeks to get it back. Went to sight it in had a major failure. Took it back and they made it right by fixing and upgrading it but it's still not 100% correct took over a month. Pricing is pretty decent and they will match most online pricing. read more

Paintballing is always so much fun so try not to have fun, here or anywhere else. You'll have fun... & if you don't have fun, then I don't know what to tell you. The location is not anywhere I have ever been in Fort Worth and the building is not clearly marked. Well it's clearly marked "Paintball" but the name "Fun on the Run" is not anywhere to be seen. I bring this up because there are several paintball parks and I scheduled an event at this one and wasn't sure from that sign alone that that was it. There are others in this area from my search. So if you see the white "paintball" sign on a metal building with sliding gates in front of the parking lot, then you've found it. But the actual park is behind this front building. This front building is actual a separate store so you have to walk around back to get to the park. Not the best layout. Another con, they have a FIRE ANT & MOSQUITO PROBLEM. They only warned us after arriving. I might've chosen another park had I have known beforehand. In one of the field, the trench one (I'm not sure if it has an "official name") the problem was apparent and the mosquito were literally in our faces (even with the masks). BUT that field was the best one, SO MUCH FUN. We played at two other fields that were good as well. Some of my group didn't enjoy the 'long' walk there and back however. The two fields up front (castle one and another) are the kiddie fields. They looked legit but it would've been pretty easy for us. Plus the nets weren't up so we weren't even given the option. But it would've been interesting. I don't remember how many fields they have but I imagine they can accommodate a large number of people. The workers could have taken hold of the situation better though. The event could have gone more smoothly. But they were all nice. I also asked for the paintballs to be separated by the number of group members we had which they did not do. I will look into a different place the next time most likely. Paintballing can get pricey if you need to rent equipment (gun, mask, jumpsuit, etc.). They make you buy paintballs there which sucks (cause they aren't the most affordable and you will go through them quickly), but not uncommon with paintball fields. They have a water fountain but also have drinks to purchase as well. Their guns jammed on group members kind of frequently, which sucks for anyone it happens to. read more

My son and I play paintball together for fun. We aren't competition players but like a good challenge, solid fields, and above all a SAFE experience. Fun on Run is great in this sense. We have brought new players with us and the referees take time to come over and make sure they are all comfortable and know the rules. Their is NO SLACK on when and where you must wear a mask and when your barrel sock/safety needs to be on. The FIELDS are very diverse with everything from a wooded sniper field to the fast hyperball District field (a shout out to Hunger Games). Prices are reasonable whether you have your own gun or need to rent everything. If you have wanted to play but been trepid, this is a great place to start. And getting shot doesn't sting much. They require you to use their approved paintballs which break easily. read more

I have been playing paintball at Fun on The Run for years now, and I still have just as much fun now as I did back then! They have a beautiful store front "pro shop" that has all types of paintball equipment for sale for all levels of players and a concession stand so you can grab a bite to eat between games! Their staff is always friendly and can answer any questions you may have about the sport. The cost is reasonably priced, and there is always plenty of people of all skill levels to play against. My favorite part is the amount of fields they have to offer! they have a castle field, a hyperball field, a town with two story buildings and ALOT more! I recommend Fun On The Run to all of my friends who are interested in playing paintball! read more

I've been visiting Fun On The Run Paintball Park for years. Of the few paintball fields in the DFW area, FOTR consistently has had the best fields and the best staff and is the main reason that I continue to return. The new pro shop is fantastic! They always carry the latest and greatest products and it is more convenient for me to check out or purchase products there in lieu of waiting on online orders and not entirely know what I'm getting before it arrives. read more

The fields arent good at all. Everyone hides and makes the matches take way longer than needed. They also dont chrono and some guns are obviously over. The staff act like they hate their jobs too. Also you must wear a full face mask which most people dont have but they charge you to get these awful bright blue masks or you can pay even more to get a black one. Also their "pro" shop never has anything in stock. When i asked if they had a pistol holster the worker responded "Have you looked?. I wouldnt recommend coming here. read more

Came out to play over the weekend with my brother and girlfriend. Expected to have a pretty good time. The refs let so many people blind fire and did nothing about it just standing around. My brother called for another player to surrender and the player decided not to and shot him point blank in the sternum when talking to the ref the response was he doesn't have to surrender. ( I guess the option for injury is better, well done that isn't even good sportsmanship absolutely terrible and I understand that the player could have done better. But that's what the refs are out there for to assist with these situations so players can have fun and not get hurt.) And the paint that was purchased at the field was orange which ended up dying the skin pink, it couldn't even be washed off the skin. Two days later I still have dye on my skin. Very disappointing and a huge let down. read more

We went there for a 10 year olds birthday party. Or wazed stuck a great time. They taught all the kids how to have a dumb and safe time. The facilities were clean. They had lots of games for the kids... not just run and shoot. The store dadd clean and stocked with lots of great items. I picked up pink smoke bombs for a cancer awareness football game. read more

Mma couple friends and I went back in May to this park. They have fair prices for their entry fee and rentals. Courses are a blast. They're in the middle of renovating and building their a new store on site rather than off so the from ont is pretty dusty. I would recommend this place to friends! Tip: best times to go would be in winter, I went on a 90 degree day and about had a heat stroke. read more

i think the prices are fair for what they ask for comparing to other local fields, the refs are pretty good at what they do but they sometimes tend to get offtrack and do unneeded things,i think that the park could get some more fields, iwould personally like more speedball type fields, overall the park is pretty good for what it is. read more
