I reviewed it some year ago and it looks worse now The toddler play room is so worn out. No maintenance, except now they moved the slide away. Dirty, stain structure everywhere

With the Texas heat, it's almost intolerable to be outdoors running around a covered playground. Cheeky Monkeys is a great alternative in that it is indoors. Think big slides, trampoline, soft play climbing obstacles, and ball pits. They have a designated area for toddlers 4 years and younger. It's a good idea for parents to still supervise since older kids tend to sneak into the area. For those who need a break from running around, there's a spot with books, puzzles/games, building blocks, grocery shopping, train set, etc. No outside food or beverages allowed. They have a cafe to purchase food with plenty of seats available to rest and/or eat. I like that they have multiple family friendly restrooms that are kept relatively clean. Make sure you bring grippy socks for the kiddos. Adults also need socks to run around the play area. I would say Cheeky Monkeys is pretty pricey compared to other indoor play places. They charge on an hourly basis unlike other locations that include unlimited play for the day without time restriction. Look out for their holiday specials, which typically includes a discount for 2 hours of play along with special activities (e.g. arts/craft and games). You can also book birthday parties here. On party days, it can get pretty loud and busy.

While visiting family in Texas we decided to take our little one to Cheeky Monkeys for some playtime with her cousins. The first thing to note is that socks are mandatory, so be prepared to purchase them if you don't have any. Thankfully the socks weren't too pricey. You'll also need to sign consent forms for anyone who plans to be in the playground area, which is a nice safety measure. The playground itself was great, with lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy. One thing I appreciated was the mini area where parents can wait for their kiddos or even grab a bite to eat. They offer some lunch options and snacks, so it's a nice spot to relax while the kids burn off some energy. Overall, we had a great time, and it's a fantastic place for the little ones to play while parents can keep an eye on them or take a breather.

Awesome place for little kiddos. My daughter loves it! Tons of stuff to play with, run around on and slid down. Great please to take your kiddo so they can burn off some energy.

Great clean play area for kids

Great play area for kids! They have food and drinks. Several restrooms lots of tables for parents to sit and watch the kids.

What an incredible concept; it reminded me of a padded kindergarten classroom and playground. So many different things for children to explore that entice their senses. Separate areas for 10 months to 4 yrs and 4 yrs to 8 yrs. 2 big party rooms up front, a small food counter at the back and tables and chairs in between. Staff was friendly and helpful. Save time by filling out their waiver online.

Our son wanted to have a Cheeky Monkey Birthday after attending a Birthday party last year in April. He was adamant about going back to this place however the party we attended was at the Plano location. I mapped and found this location to be closer and with him having a weekday birthday (Wednesday) I did some research and even called and found that the less traffic is near closing which is at 6pm. I decided to book a table for us off to the side with pizza, honest juice and brought in some Vegan cinnamon rolls from Cinnaholic. The staff was amazingly attentive, friendly, involved and respectful. They ensured we were comfortable and didn't rush us out. Our boys played so much with there little friends (6 children total ). There may have been 10 children total in the place the entire 2 hours we were there from 4pm - 6pm just the way I like it . We really had a great time and I'm willing to make the drive here for my littles whenever they are interested because of the cleanliness, the staff friendliness and location.

Please beware this location changes the rules on a whim! After vowing never to return on a weekend due to the loud birthday parties and crowed waiting area, I returned on a weekday for an all day play (I verified last time I was here that all day plays are Monday through Friday ) only to be told they don't do all day play today as next week is spring break..... next week, not today. Despite only 6 other adults here at 11am on Friday ( even if everyone had 3 kids it's not populated- at all), I paid the near $19 for two hours of play so I could, at least, complete two hours of work I had mapped out. Change of rules is dishonest and takes advantage of patrons that rely on rules in order to plan their day. Additionally, the armband system is atrocious. If you sign in at 11:20 for two hours of play, at 1 o'clock, they are barking over the loudspeaker for you to leave. Except that you paid for two hours and anything less than the service you paid for is theft. My kiddo loves this place but I'm losing my patience and will be seeking a replacement play place.

I can't say enough good things about my kiddos birthday party at this location. If you're on the fence about having your littles birthday party here; let this be your sign to absolutely do it! 10/10 It was a dream. I literally had to do nothing except for enjoy my little dudes birthday, and parents know that's not usually the case at parties! They handled set up, clean up, the timing of the party, and everything was done by a kind and upbeat staff! Sama (I hope I'm spelling that right) was our party host and she was PERFECT, and so patient with my two year old. We had the absolute best day, and if we still live nearby I will very likely have his party there for his next birthday also! Every guest had a BLAST. Thanks Cheeky Monkey!

Perfect place to take a toddler to burn off energy in a safe environment!!! We have taken our daughter after her swim class near by and she loves it! Lots for her to do and is able to play safely. You are charged by the hour and parents are free. They also have a small cafe but have not stayed long enough to have a snack or eat lunch. I would definitely recommend this faculty.

I strongly suggest making a reservation to guarantee your entry, as I believe their capacity is 50. It tends to get quite busy, especially on rainy days, due to its convenience and being such a fantastic place for kids. Additionally, you will need to complete a waiver form. They have iPads available for you to fill out the form if you haven't done so, but it's advisable to have everything prepared in advance to avoid delays if you're pressed for time. Avery was incredibly friendly, patient, attentive, and had a wonderful personality. This is a charming spot for little ones, and the staff on duty during our visit made sure to wipe down, clean, and tidy up the area while the kids played in different sections. It was a busy little place when I arrived at 10:40 a.m., but it was less crowded around lunchtime. There is a red bucket designated for toys that your little one has put in their mouth, ensuring the toys remain sanitary. You are required to purchase their socks and must wear them while there. Fortunately, the socks are only $2.50. The day pass costs $13.75, and they also provide your little ones with a free rubber duck, which helps encourage them to leave when it's time to go. I'm sure you can relate to how your little ones can get when they're having a blast and don't want to leave, so they have a clever system in place to help ease that transition. This place was perfect for my little one. I had a wonderful time, especially seeing how much he enjoyed himself, and the customer service from Avery was outstanding. There is plenty of seating for parents and clean restrooms nearby. There is a smaller, enclosed area for babies directly adjacent to the large indoor jungle gym. The playscape is located in the center of the church building. You can park at any entrance of the church in order to access the playscape. Just walk through the doors and toward the center. On a HOT Wednesday at 5pm, we were the only people there. There were a couple of people milling about the church, but not many, and if weren't for the hours being posted on the website I would have thought we made a mistake and showed up at closing. I seem to remember them having a cafe pre-COVID, but it was now closed (temporarily or permanently I'm not sure). I packed bagged dinners for my kids to eat in the car on the way there. Two months ago I was living 1500 miles away where "free indoor playground" was a string of words so delicious, so fantasmic, that my heart skipped a beat the first time I heard them uttered. But with five rambunctious kids and some rain, I've spent a good amount of time exploring the indoor playground scene here in the dfw. One's bound to make comparisons. Beyond the simple fact that it's free, the pros to this play area are: 1. Good hours (open every day, I think!) 2. Small area for babies 3. Large structure for older kids 4. Glassed in play structure 5. Cafe with inexpensive drinks 6. Plenty of seating 7. Free WiFi Not all the church indoor playgrounds are open everyday or for as long as Wesley Playground, but most do hit the other points on the list. The primary reason this is my least favorite indoor playground is the OVERWHELMING smell of potpourri in the play area. The whole church smells like an air wick, but I think they must pump it in on high through the heater vents in the play area and bathrooms. It's nauseating. Frankly, between the smell, the hard plastic chairs and cafeteria tables, the place screams "retirement home". I wasn't surprised to see a few wheelchairs in the corner by the front entrance. I'm still immensely grateful that the church has created a space like this and offered free access to the public, but unless they take that smell down a notch I don't think we will be back.

Not my favorite but I can see the attraction. With a large bounce area, games, sky walk (they call…read moreropes course) and slides there is much to enjoy but it would depend on the size of your party and age of the child/ children. The bounce area is awesome, but I wish they had mirrors on the backside/ ceiling so caregivers can still watch the kiddos from the floor, otherwise if you're a spectator there are blind spots all over and you're suppose to by another entry fee if you enter any of the play areas. The backside of the bounce area has wall climbing and obstacles for teens, or really tall kids able to make the reach, and I like the large soft basketball area. The sky walk SAYS 48" to participate on the sign but their tape (where the kids measure the height) is well above the 48", unless all other doctors' offices height markers are wrong and Catapult is the measuring authority, but that was disappointing particularly when it appeared the staffer was picking and choosing who had to get measured. Kids notice everything, especially any perceived favoritism or injustice. We went on a weekend, and it was so loud and packed with birthday parties that highlighted a few issues I'd recommend considering. - There are not enough shoe cubbies, shoes were stacked in piles all over the place leaving an impression of disorganization. - Food was everywhere! Kids were running around with slices of birthday cake, icing fingers, plates etc. recommend sectioning off areas were food and drink may be consumed and placing obvious trash bins nearby. The outside was equally full of trash, but it was a windy day and that could have just blown in from another location. -Ensure the height requirement posted is the same as what's enforced. Overall, an ok spot if guardian is going to participate with the child in the ball pit or other soft spaces but I recommend going when big kids are at school. For the big kids, this is good for the 8-10 yr range when they are tall enough to participate in all activities.
