My daughter loves Cheeky Monkey! Our first experience was attending a birthday party at another location, and we recently visited the Alliance/North Fort Worth location and had a blast. It's such a great option when you have a toddler who needs to burn off some energy but it's way too hot to be outside. In addition to the main play areas, they have a reading area, play kitchen, train set, and a small café where you can grab coffee, sodas, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, and other snacks. The real stars are definitely the soft play and play gym areas. There's a separate area for babies and younger toddlers (3 and under) with a small slide, ball pit, little spinning carousel, games, and bouncy toys. I really liked that this area is easy for parents to move around in and stay close to their little ones. Then there's the large, multi-level padded play structure with several slides, ball pits, a trampoline, swings, climbing areas, and lots of places to bounce and explore. Some sections can be a little tight for adults trying to follow their kids through, but they also have cameras where you can watch the play areas from the seating area. Everything seemed clean enough and there are plenty of hand sanitizer stations throughout along with bathrooms nearby. My daughter had an AMAZING time and did not want to leave. I've recently attended a few birthday parties at Cheeky Monkey and the kids had a blast! It's a lot more spacious in the inside than what you'd expect by looking at the exterior. They have a separate area for smaller children although I did notice bigger children in the area while I was there on a Saturday. It's definitely crowded on the weekend! I'd suggest wearing socks incase you have to go into the play zone to retrieve your child. read more

Cheeky Monkey is a great spot for kids of all ages and is perfectly located for an easy outing. When you arrive, you choose either a 1- or 2-hour play session and get a wristband that's announced over the speaker when your time is up. They're actually pretty generous with the timing--honestly, before the hour is up I'm usually ready for my color to be called! Right now I'm mostly in the toddler area, which has plenty to keep little ones busy and entertained. That said, the facility could definitely use some updates. A number of the wall activities were out of order, and the toys and play areas could benefit from a deeper, more frequent cleaning. They do have a small kitchen offering pizza, fries, burgers, and more. The food is decent--nothing amazing--but it gets the job done. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait. Overall, the staff is friendly, the concept is great, and it's an excellent place to let your kids burn off some serious energy. With a little upkeep, this place could easily be top-tier. With the Texas heat, it's almost intolerable to be outdoors running around a covered playground. Cheeky Monkeys is a great alternative in that it is indoors. Think big slides, trampoline, soft play climbing obstacles, and ball pits. They have a designated area for toddlers 4 years and younger. It's a good idea for parents to still supervise since older kids tend to sneak into the area. For those who need a break from running around, there's a spot with books, puzzles/games, building blocks, grocery shopping, train set, etc. No outside food or beverages allowed. They have a cafe to purchase food with plenty of seats available to rest and/or eat. I like that they have multiple family friendly restrooms that are kept relatively clean. Make sure you bring grippy socks for the kiddos. Adults also need socks to run around the play area. I would say Cheeky Monkeys is pretty pricey compared to other indoor play places. They charge on an hourly basis unlike other locations that include unlimited play for the day without time restriction. Look out for their holiday specials, which typically includes a discount for 2 hours of play along with special activities (e.g. arts/craft and games). You can also book birthday parties here. While visiting family in Texas we decided to take our little one to Cheeky Monkeys for some playtime with her cousins. The first thing to note is that socks are mandatory, so be prepared to purchase them if you don't have any. Thankfully the socks weren't too pricey. You'll also need to sign consent forms for anyone who plans to be in the playground area, which is a nice safety measure. The playground itself was great, with lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy. One thing I appreciated was the mini area where parents can wait for their kiddos or even grab a bite to eat. They offer some lunch options and snacks, so it's a nice spot to relax while the kids burn off some energy. I've been bringing my kids to this location for nearly two years, and during our most recent visit, I had a somewhat unpleasant experience. We purchased two hours of playtime for both of our children. During that time, we ordered food, it took a while to get to our table but they were busy. The kids enjoyed themselves. When our time was up, we were called out of the play area. My husband spent about five minutes inside locating our daughter so we could leave. We were then getting ready--putting on shoes while my daughter was finishing her food--and my husband took our younger child to the bathroom. About ten minutes after our time ended, a staff member approached us and reminded us that our time had expired. He stated, in a polite but firm way, that if we didn't leave within five minutes, we would be charged for additional time. I explained that we were in the process of leaving and that my daughter was just finishing her food. He replied that we could take it in a to-go box, but repeated that we would be charged if we stayed longer. This has never happened to us before, and we do not typically overstay. While I understand policies need to be enforced, the approach felt excessive and left me disappointed with the overall experience. I also noticed that the same message was delivered to a another group of ladies all with small kids and babies. Everyone was literally gathering up their stuff , it just sometimes takes longer when the kids are small. Even the people next to our table were surprised that they went out of their way to ask us to leave. But the thing that really bothered me was the same employee had a fake smile plastered when we were walking out. And a fake have a nice day message :). That was unnecessary to be honest and just was in poor taste. read more

Our son wanted to have a Cheeky Monkey Birthday after attending a Birthday party last year in April. He was adamant about going back to this place however the party we attended was at the Plano location. I mapped and found this location to be closer and with him having a weekday birthday (Wednesday) I did some research and even called and found that the less traffic is near closing which is at 6pm. I decided to book a table for us off to the side with pizza, honest juice and brought in some Vegan cinnamon rolls from Cinnaholic. The staff was amazingly attentive, friendly, involved and respectful. They ensured we were comfortable and didn't rush us out. Our boys played so much with there little friends (6 children total ). There may have been 10 children total in the place the entire 2 hours we were there from 4pm - 6pm just the way I like it . We really had a great time and I'm willing to make the drive here for my littles whenever they are interested because of the cleanliness, the staff friendliness and location. read more

Please beware this location changes the rules on a whim! After vowing never to return on a weekend due to the loud birthday parties and crowed waiting area, I returned on a weekday for an all day play (I verified last time I was here that all day plays are Monday through Friday ) only to be told they don't do all day play today as next week is spring break..... next week, not today. Despite only 6 other adults here at 11am on Friday ( even if everyone had 3 kids it's not populated- at all), I paid the near $19 for two hours of play so I could, at least, complete two hours of work I had mapped out. Change of rules is dishonest and takes advantage of patrons that rely on rules in order to plan their day. Additionally, the armband system is atrocious. If you sign in at 11:20 for two hours of play, at 1 o'clock, they are barking over the loudspeaker for you to leave. Except that you paid for two hours and anything less than the service you paid for is theft. My kiddo loves this place but I'm losing my patience and will be seeking a replacement play place. read more

As a parent, you're always on the lookout for new activities to keep your little one entertained. I decided to take my toddler here based on the good reviews. The price was reasonable, as you pay per child and parents aren't charged. You have to sign a waiver, and they give you a wristband with a specific time period. I assume that after a certain time, the color of your wristband indicates your session's end. There's a large general play area and a dedicated toddler area with age and height limits. The toddler section is great, but I wish they had someone supervising it to ensure only appropriate-aged kids enter. There were a lot of older and bigger kids playing roughly and taking up space meant for the little ones. The larger play area is basically a free-for-all. Although there are rule signs, no one was there to monitor or enforce them. Kids were dragging pit balls to the trampoline area and throwing them, which resulted in a few hitting my toddler. It's just not safe. This place was decent but could reach its full potential with better supervision. I'm sure parents would prefer not to crowd the space while trying to keep an eye on their little ones. read more

Their policy 10 months to 8 years old is inconsistent. They denied my 9 years old playtime because of her age. Yet they let some kids 8+ in. One girl said she was allowed to go in and take care of her sibling and was allowed to play yet when I asked they said only 18+ can go in to watch their siblings. I get it apparently 9,10,11 and 12 years all of sudden are a danger and wild. In reality the kids I see being dangerous and wild are actually younger 4-8 years old. The older kids 9+ are more careful around small kids. During parties 9 year olds and up are allowed to enter. This policy is so inconsistent and unfair. My 9year old was straight up told "you're too old" by the employee. I have a 3 year old and a new baby now and my toddler likes to have my 8 and 9 year old siblings watch him he feels safe with them around and they can't go in. I can't just go for my 3 year old and have my 8 and 9 year olds sit and watch. If you know the struggle of having big age gaps you know how hard these rules are. I have not been back and will not for these reasons. I need a place where all my kids are welcomed from my toddler to my 9 year old. They pick and choose when to let kids 9+ enter and when not it's inconsistent and unfair. read more

Came here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. We were in town to visit and needed to find a place to entertain our toddler. We have been to indoor playgrounds before in Austin and were looking for one here. This place was great, very very clean which is a plus. Multiple levels of places to climb and play. A fairly large area for infant/toddler area also. Though since we got here mid day in the week it was open for our toddler to play in the entire place. So essentially toddler friendly for the entire facility. We really enjoyed this place and will definitely be coming back next time we are back in the area. I've been bringing my toddler here for a year and a half pretty frequently - love the layout, various of slides, climbing structures, and equipment. She enjoys it and it's perfect for super hot or rainy days. That being said, the upkeep and maintenance is awful. The first time we went was in October 2021. Our daughter got to play with the vacuum tunnels for the balls in Toddler Town, however a couple of weeks later when we returned it didn't work.. and hadn't been repaired since. Most of the pieces to the gear-wall have gone missing and have not been replaced. The 7 on the floor piano hasn't worked in I don't know how long. The Melissa and Doug train track is cute in the little "puzzle/activity area" but there aren't any trains. That whole section is just missing things and/or broken. In the large play area: to the right of the yellow slide there was a rope with a padded ball at the end you could sit on like a mini "zip line", but months ago we showed up and it was missing... and it's still missing. There used to be colorful LED lights inside this small double-platform with plexiglass on top... my kid liked to stand on it and look down through the clear floor and see the lights (in front of the trampoline- that's a pretty bad explanation but if you go there you'll know what I'm talking about)... the lights stopped working in one.. and now they both are broken. Again.. SEVERAL MONTHS ago.. and will probably never get fixed. In the upper areas there are sections of long, cylindrical pads to cushion narrow walk-ways, but they aren't properly attached so they have lost their shape and don't stay in place. My biggest concern is the padded "steps" to the left of the blue slides. Some of these pieces are ripped and have lost the padding between the cover and "core" (metal or wood) - it's extremely hard and I see little kids jump/fall shin-first onto these. The worst part is they just cover the rips with black duck tape rather than actually fix them.. they don't even bother to add additional padding. Today, right before we left we heard the trampoline ripped. Wondering if they'll actually fix it or just do some sketchy half-fix. This place is so great, but they don't maintain it and it seems like every month something else breaks and never gets fixed. Some of it is annoying, but some is a hazard. Please PLEASE fix what is broken, missing, and unsafe. We went to Kid Mania after seeing negative reviews here with people raving about it and prefer Cheeky Monkeys hands down. I haven't found anything else comparable so it just sucks that this place can be so great, but it's falling apart and there aren't any good alternatives. read more

Took my 2 year old for the 1st time and she absolutely loves it! My stepmom and I switched out running around with her (as I also had my 2 mo) and we had fun as well! Climbing area was much bigger than seen from the entrance and lots of fun little sections throughout. There were 2 other play sections and a "reading corner" that was pretty sad but my daughter had a blast. Also, nice having a little food counter with stadium food and snacks. Not giving 5 stars as there were at least 3 adults the 4 hours were were there without socks on and none of the employees enforced it or said anything to those adults besides the initial "if you're going into any of the play areas you must wear socks." before going in. Also, the amount of green snot covered kids that were running around was disgusting, I don't get how the parents were ok with bringing their kids out like that.
