Can someone verify if I just download the app that can purchase an an electronic card without having to buy a physical card? The rides were extremely fast and rushed. It was hard to enjoy the Ferris Wheel because you couldn't enjoy the view with how fast it was going. I spent more in an hour than I would at the Texas state fair. This place was alright. We turned around and this guy named Ed comes straight up to my husband and starts yelling IN HIS FACE saying that we can't touch the ducks, That's cheating. My husband was telling him we weren't going to play the game anyway and to just calm down. Ed is yelling loud at this point, everyone is watching, so I ask him what his name is and he said that his name is Ed in the most RUDEST way I have ever experienced in my life. Apparently he owns Talley, I'm not quite sure, but he started degrading us telling us in front of the public that we must not know about Carnival games and my husband said, well why don't you just tell us instead of yelling at us and so we decide to walk away from the situation. ONCE WE WALK AWAY THIS MAN FOLLOWS US AND STARTS HARASSING US! Taking PICTURES of us WITHOUT consent!!!! Tells me I must have a problem. The rides here were invented and built by real rodeo cowboys. The men who actually rode the bucking broncos and bulls. They have taken their experiences and now you can have a taste of what it's like, but in safety. You can take a quick ride and call it a day, or if you want to take lessons in a safe environment before you take on the real deal, they can do that for you too. The men here were awesome, true Southern Gentlemen and a joy to meet. My ride on the mechanical bull lasted only 40 seconds or so (my choice), but it was a wild wild ride. You forget you are on a machine the way it bucks and moves. Unlike most mechanical bulls, this one is on wheels and is controlled by remote control. The bull rolls around the area as it bucks and kicks, giving you a very realistic taste of the cowboy (girl) life. You are safely seat belted in and the gentleman at the controls will never let you fall. If bucking and kicking are too much for you, don't worry there are other rides to take advantage of. There's even a giant fish you can ride. Definitely worth stopping in here!!

We hit it with perfect timing right when the zoo opened at 10 am so most animals were active right after their morning feedings. It is not quite as random as at smaller zoos where you might stumble across a team member willing to share their passion about one of the animals. There is some ongoing construction so you have to double back on the route. The food they had was very good and affordable for a large tourist attraction. Would definitely return!

Such a fun place for an afternoon activity with small kids in DFW!…read more My friend and I brought my niece for the afternoon to the Peppa Pig Theme Park. Parking was easy (around $6) and all of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The park is pretty small, but easy to navigate and pretty clean. There's about 5 rides, a playground, and a splash zone. We did all the rides and some time in the playground, which took around 2ish hours. They also do free shows with Peppa that were fun and covered from the heat! I took one star off due to the price. The ticket was expensive ($30ish) for such a small park and the food/drinks were expensive too. Luckily, you can bring your own food and drinks, which is what we did!

The goal is to find each letter and punch the yellow ticket (M-A-Z-E). I am so glad that we all did it because I would still be stuck there. I failed to read the instructions when I started so you're supposed to punch your yellow card when you start and punch it again when you leave the maze. I did not keep track of it, but we did find all of the letters and there were a few that I had a hard time finding which were the ones that were up the stairs so you can see the whole maze from above. There is an observation deck that is free next to the maze. A few of the parents were telling their children how to go in the maze from up there. So you can watch the kiddos complete the maze. It is a neat challenge and something fun to do with children.

Best dang water park with the most incredible management and lifeguard team. Truly something to be valued in this day and age. As we were in the lazy river, right as we came around the corner, a lifeguard jumped in and pulled out what appeared to be a dead 2 year old baby. It turned out to be a dummy and it was just a drill, but I had no idea and it sent me into the depths of my PTSD. The way that dummy flopped around in her arms was painfully and terrifyingly familiar. I think I let out a scream or said NOOOOOOOOOOOO... A very nice gentleman that had witnessed the same thing earlier in the day yelled, "It's just a dummy. It was a test." To say I was traumatized is an understatement, but I have to tell you how sincerely impressed I was with their genuine care and concern. I immediately went up to the coordinator shaking and said that my son had drowned and we nearly lost him and that seeing that was hard. I didn't complain because I appreciate they are training for real life situations. I just had to say... something. The young lady was so kind and concerned. (She shared with me there was a sign I must have missed at the front that said they were performing drills.) A little bit later, the manager and his team found me in the park, so they could apologize. Just wow! He offered the most sincere words and begged if he could do anything to make me feel better. Of course I kindly declined but was so incredibly grateful for his and her kindness. I was overwhelmed by their authentic concern for me. Truly heart warming. I was such a mess, I didn't even get their names, so THANK YOU, kind strangers. We will be back every chance we can.

We received Summer Reading tickets from our library, so we decided we might as well try out NRH2O!…read moreThe check-in process is super easy and there are signs directing you where to go. They check your bags/cooler and scan your tickets, then let you go about your day. My friend and I split the cost of a shaded Splash Picnic spot just to make sure our older kiddos had a landing base to re-up on snacks and drinks. Our name was printed on the reserved spot making it officially ours! It is SUPER cool they allowed our own cooler with ice packs, although it would've been a tiny bit more amazing to sip on a girlie marg. I sent my friend on a scavenger hunt to see if they sell any type of alcohol of any kind and turned up empty, just as a heads up to others who may wonder too. While I mostly stayed in the toddler swimming hole and kiddie water slides, and shuffled over to try out the wave pool, my oldest told me about the Lazy River on the other side. She also told me about her "losing her soul" on the dropout slide ha! She had fun, but it took her breath away for sure. Bathrooms are air conditioned. Parking was ample, shade was more plentiful than Hawaiian Falls, and you can reserve seats online if you don't want to risk not having a spot. Overall, a fun family-friendly space to have a good time outdoors!
