My husband and I were waiting next to a booth that no one was in so I decided to pick up the ducks just to see how to play a game. Someone starts yelling behind me. We turned around and this guy named Ed comes straight up to my husband and starts yelling IN HIS FACE saying that we can't touch the ducks, That's cheating. My husband was telling him we weren't going to play the game anyway and to just calm down. Ed is yelling loud at this point, everyone is watching, so I ask him what his name is and he said that his name is Ed in the most RUDEST way I have ever experienced in my life. Apparently he owns Talley, I'm not quite sure, but he started degrading us telling us in front of the public that we must not know about Carnival games and my husband said, well why don't you just tell us instead of yelling at us and so we decide to walk away from the situation. ONCE WE WALK AWAY THIS MAN FOLLOWS US AND STARTS HARASSING US! Taking PICTURES of us WITHOUT consent!!!! Tells me I must have a problem. I told him no sir you are the one with the problem screaming at people instead of being kind.

The rides here were invented and built by real rodeo cowboys. The men who actually rode the bucking broncos and bulls. They have taken their experiences and now you can have a taste of what it's like, but in safety. You can take a quick ride and call it a day, or if you want to take lessons in a safe environment before you take on the real deal, they can do that for you too. The men here were awesome, true Southern Gentlemen and a joy to meet. My ride on the mechanical bull lasted only 40 seconds or so (my choice), but it was a wild wild ride. You forget you are on a machine the way it bucks and moves. Unlike most mechanical bulls, this one is on wheels and is controlled by remote control. The bull rolls around the area as it bucks and kicks, giving you a very realistic taste of the cowboy (girl) life. You are safely seat belted in and the gentleman at the controls will never let you fall. If bucking and kicking are too much for you, don't worry there are other rides to take advantage of. There's even a giant fish you can ride. Definitely worth stopping in here!!

It is not quite as random as at smaller zoos where you might stumble across a team member willing to share their passion about one of the animals. There is some ongoing construction so you have to double back on the route. The food they had was very good and affordable for a large tourist attraction. Would definitely return!

With temperatures over 110 degrees outside, I was also very grateful for someplace indoors where he could climb, jump, zip line and burn off all that wonderful kid energy. What I did not expect was how impressed I would be with the people. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel like we belonged there. Feyi, the team member at the front desk, made sure we had everything we needed and knew exactly where to go. Throughout the facility, team members were attentive, engaged and, most importantly to this grandmother, clearly focused on safety. Watching my grandson carefully harnessed before flying through the air above my head made me very happy! I also had the pleasure of meeting Maria, the manager, and clearly understood where that culture comes from. We had a wonderful conversation about her team, their birthday parties, training, safety and the importance of making sure every child has a great experience. She told me that whether they're incredibly busy or having a quieter day, the expectation is the same: be focused, be present and take care of the people who are there. When my grandson was going on the Sky Rider, my curiosity peaked. What would happen if a child was excited to go on and then...wasn't. One team member told me that there are children who can't wait to go on...until their feet leave the platform and they suddenly realize they're actually hanging in the air. She described how she calmly and carefully brings them back when they're not quite ready. That little story told me a lot about the people working there. I've lived in Southlake longer than Urban Air has been here, yet this was my first visit. My grandson walked in like a regular, and somehow they made me feel like one too. Whether your children already know every corner of Urban Air or you're walking through the doors for the very first time, you're in good hands. While these changes get updated, there should be a notice on the door and also prices to accommodate the fact that there's nothing much to do here. Give a construction coupon for $9.99 (example) since the most you can spend here is about an hour before the kids have done everything five times and are bored. Awesome location: space and so much potential, but also a lot of competition in the area. Highly recommend steep discounts to get people in the doors, and post information by the attractions for when they will be updated, conveying the vision and message can go a long way.

Parking was easy (around $6) and all of the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly! The park is pretty small, but easy to navigate and pretty clean. There's about 5 rides, a playground, and a splash zone. We did all the rides and some time in the playground, which took around 2ish hours. They also do free shows with Peppa that were fun and covered from the heat! I took one star off due to the price. The ticket was expensive ($30ish) for such a small park and the food/drinks were expensive too. Luckily, you can bring your own food and drinks, which is what we did!

Because we had a little one with their mom we met up with and my 11 y/o tow my 11 year old was over it after the two rides my kid rode with my friends little one, which was walk on, and the couple mins it took us to walk around. So we ended up saying bye to my friend after only 20-30 minutes while she stayed to let her kid burn energy at the splash pad. Luckily we had a pass that took care of our tickets other wise I would have made my kid stay longer to be buddy to my friends little one. The goal is to find each letter and punch the yellow ticket (M-A-Z-E). I am so glad that we all did it because I would still be stuck there. I failed to read the instructions when I started so you're supposed to punch your yellow card when you start and punch it again when you leave the maze. I did not keep track of it, but we did find all of the letters and there were a few that I had a hard time finding which were the ones that were up the stairs so you can see the whole maze from above. There is an observation deck that is free next to the maze. A few of the parents were telling their children how to go in the maze from up there. So you can watch the kiddos complete the maze. It is a neat challenge and something fun to do with children.

NRH2O isn't nearly as big as Hurricane Harbor, but I prefer it for several reasons. For one, there are quite a few trees and grassy areas all throughout the park, providing shade and cooler grounds and all around cooler, happier vibes. Plus, tickets and passes are more affordable, and perhaps most importantly (especially to anyone with special dietary needs): you're allowed to bring in your own food and drink. Of course there are limitations on ice chest size and you can't bring in glass containers or alcohol, but it's so nice to be able to pack your own snacks and drinks. Not in loose ice, though, that's another rule. Your ice has to be bagged up (we just use ice-packs). Employees check through your bags very thoroughly at the entrance. I haven't been on any of the bigger slides in years, I now stick to the kiddie-spaces or the lazy river. I was in the wave pool recently with my niece and didn't have as much fun as I remember having when I was younger, haha. The park overall is pretty clean and well-maintained. Nothing looks like it desperately needs refurbished or sanitized! There are I believe 3 different "restaurants" onsite and then a handful of drink and dessert stands. You can find aaaall of your theme park favorites: hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, fries, nachos, quesadillas, pizza, pretzels, cotton candy, chips, kettle corn, etc. There's also frozen lemonade, dippin' dots ice cream, and a churro food truck onsite! You'll have a great time at NRH2O if it's not ridiculously crowded and you're able to find yourself a little home-base with shade. You can reserve canopies and tables online, but they go fast!
