    - one star for staff up front that are crappy at their jobs. Sadly unless you're working with a smaller office and thus a much smaller group of patient specialists, you are going to run into really poorly ran offices and staff. I had to push them to get things handled properly but once that took place things seem to run more smoothly. Advocating for oneself is always harder when you're in pain so I totally can see why there are tons of 1 star reviews. Okay so moving on, as many seem to mention, the doctor I see is great here. I can tell he is no nonsense and to the point. I like that. His bedside manner isn't one that pads the ass of patients however I never found him abrasive. I have worked with neurologists for nearly 20yrs and I have seen good and bad ones. He is great. I miss my doc in SF who was the best honestly, but this doctor is for sure a great find and is skilled. Billing is a bit wonky here but I have found my way around that nonsense as I am versed in billing and coding so I stay on top of things. I can't really complain about their practices. They do what works for their office and if a patient understands policy and knows how to manage things on that end as well, it makes for a smooth process. Ask questions! Everyone wants to look to Dr Google for health related concerns but it seems nobody wants to ask for understanding on billing and coding lol. The info is out there. Do the leg work! Treatment - it's worked for me. There are options I have already explored elsewhere and I don't want to go back down that path here. I have a plan from my previous neuro and this one picked it up without any fight. His Pa is kind and compassionate and funny. What more can you ask for? Well maybe someone to answer the phone! But I ended up getting my doctors personal contact and bypassed all that nonsense. Tip: When you call, just leave a message with your name, dob, and number. They won't have it in your record without that information. They won't call back if it's not in your record. Trust me! Now that being said, don't expect them to call right back and lord knows if they do, it'll be from an unknown number or at the worst time possible (like when your kid has a blowout or meltdown and you are NOT getting that call, and that was your ONLY call back from them lol). Try to understand that a lager practice comes with bigger problems in the service department. This goes for anything but in the medical industry it is paramount. Don't want those issues? Go find yourself a practice with one or two doctors and a small group that manages that entire office. It's rare here but I'm sure it's out there. And yes, you may have to pay cash to see that doctor. I hope this review has helped you, I understand how debilitating pain can be and how hard it is when you feel like you're back is against the wall. Stay strong.

Worst office staff I have ever encountered. Treated rudely, talked over on calls, put on indefinite hold and hung up on.

Horrible, don't go! So glad we switched. The Dr was great but the office staff, appointment scheduling etc was insanely frustrating.

Do they ever get back to you after you have completed the test and MRI?

Yes. You should have a follow up appointment scheduled to go over results. If you do not have a follow up appointment, it could be because they were not sure when you were getting your MRI done. Call their office to verify if you have a follow up… Read more

This is common practice with a patient who's symptoms are stabilized. I have learned the best way to ensure your meds are properly refilled is to use the portal for a "request a refill" as well as prompting your pharmacy. Not only did Dr Kalra immediately tell us what he "guessed" we'd heard from the other Doctors, he proceeded to give his opinion, which actually made sense to us! At my 2-week post-op appointment and every appointment afterward, I repeatedly tried to explain how intense and persistent the pain was and how concerned I felt about it. Unfortunately, I left those visits feeling unheard and dismissed. I understand recovery from spinal surgery can be difficult and unpredictable, but as a patient, I desperately needed reassurance, guidance, and to feel like my concerns truly mattered. Instead, I personally felt like I was repeatedly told to "wait it out," even as the pain continued month after month. During this process, I was referred by Dr. Kalra to multiple different specialists in an attempt to address the ongoing nerve pain. However, after being evaluated, those doctors ultimately referred me back to Dr. Kalra regarding the issues related to my fusion and recovery. This left me feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn for answers or support. More than a year later, I am still dealing with the same nerve pain that began after surgery. This has significantly affected my quality of life. When I contacted the office again hoping to discuss the ongoing issues I've been experiencing since the fusion, I was informed that I was being dismissed as a patient and later received a certified dismissal letter from the practice. That was incredibly upsetting after trusting this practice with my care and trying for so long to advocate for myself. I'm sharing this only as my personal experience. Every patient's situation is different, but for me, the lack of support and communication during such a painful and vulnerable time was deeply disappointing. I hope future patients feel heard, respected, and taken seriously when expressing concerns about their recovery.

I highly recommend Dr. Dike and his team! Office Manager Shervonha: You are truly a servant leader whose presence resonates long before you speak! Thanks for constantly checking in on us and ensuring everyone was comfortable and updated on statuses while we waited in the clinic. Your presence is comforting. You're a phenomenal leader and the clinic is very blessed to have you! Thank you. My Mom had her new patient appointment on 12/4/25. I want to thank the Affinity Neurocare team for your excellence in care and the patience that was shown as my Mom visited the clinic today. Thank you all so much. From the first interaction with Alexis at the front check-in desk, we felt comfortable and appreciated as clients of Dr. Dike. Alexis is a sweetheart and she was very polite. She's a wonderful first introduction to your clinic! We then met Leah, who is in a league of her own. Leah is awesomeness wrapped in a human body!! Her spirit resonated throughout the clinic. She was sweet and very warm at every interaction with each person we saw her speak with today. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. Her smile speaks volumes of how much she enjoys what she does. She spoke very highly of your clinic and your practice, as she should. You guys are amazing. Tommy was another sweetheart. He was very patient as my Mom took her cognitive test today. Unfortunately, Mama had bilateral cataract surgery within the past few weeks and is experiencing some visual issues (which we are praying will subside within the next few months); therefore, some of the test questions were a little difficult for her to see. Tommy was patient and waited for her to feel comfortable before moving to the next questions of the test. Thankfully, he read most of the questions to her. Please thank him for his patience. Dr. Dike took time and listened intently as I went over a plethora of information related to Mama's medical history and some of the alternatives that have proven effective for her. I'm grateful for his patience and his ability to make his patients feel at ease while interacting with him. He listened, asked questions, and took time to understand everything that was being said before attempting to provide next steps for treatment. he did not rush us, cut us off, or rush to leave the room. Being one who facilitates best practice courses for providers and other healthcare professionals, I know that this is not always the case. I found your practice online and prayed over whom we should seek for neuro support, and Dr. Dike did not disappoint! We need more providers like him. Please thank him for his excellence in care. We also met Derrick, who is AMAZING! Derrick is another very professional, very knowledgeable, and very patient young man. He ensured Mama and I were comfortable while administering the ordered tests. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure Mama knew what was expected while taking the tests. He's a phenomenal professional. Please thank him for us. It was a blessing finding Affinity Neurocare and I'm so grateful for the excellent patient service you all provide to our community. Thank you so much for everything you do and for making a positive impact in the lives of our neighbors. It was well worth the drive from Wylie to Frisco to meet you all and I'm grateful to have your gifted hands overseeing Mom's care now. GOD bless you and may you continue to bless others through your gifting.
