The cut was technically ok. He cut the bottom layer and then cut another layer that was about two inches shorter. My hair is very thick so now it just looks like I have a second ring of hair over my long length. I had to flatten with a flat iron to get it to look somewhat presentable. My previous hairdresser always cut seral layers in between to insure a flawless transition.The hairdresser stated that he had been doing this for 30 plus years....maybe that was the last time he went to a workshop or continuing education. I will keep looking for a decent haircut in the woodlands. For now, I'm the girl with a bowl cut over a bowl cut in case you see me out in the Woodlands....haha. The good news is that hair grows out. : )

Lilian was friendly and clearly cared about doing a great job, listening to how I was wanting the hair to be cut. Going from longer hair to a shoulder length cut along with a shampoo and dry all took just under an hour. I am definitely interested in coming back! You're correct that I've never received a service at your salon--but that is precisely the point of my review. I repeatedly tried to become a customer and was unable to successfully book an appointment. My review is about the customer service and booking experience I personally received. If your salon is so heavily booked that you are unable to accommodate new clients, I completely understand. However, potential clients should simply be told that upfront rather than spending weeks attempting to schedule an appointment that is never confirmed. But I made friends with another woman in the waiting room who had an appointment for her flu shot, and she had to wait 50 minutes for hers. So, I'm just annoyed at all the excuses. If it's going to be an hour wait on a Monday, they should let you know before they charge your insurance. So don't go on your lunch break. Also, there bathroom was gross. I originally planned on moving my and my husband's prescriptions here from CVS, but changed my mind.

I received Four messages regarding my appointment and asking me to confirm it. I confirmed each time. It's very odd because there was ZERO APOLOGY OR CARE from their receptionist. When I stated that I was in the parking lot, she replied with, I called you 30 minutes ago. I don't think this person realizes that caller id shows when someone calls and/or texts. The salon was exceptionally unprofessional and quite frankly, downright rude. I understand that things happen but to cancel the appointment after you confirmed it four times, 12 minutes before the appointment is exceptionally unprofessional. Had they apologized, or cared at all, I would not be writing this review. I was polite and professional, and honestly just taken aback.
