Chicken Fajita
Lux P.

I had the chance to try Lone Star Texas Grill recently and overall it was an okay experience. The menu is quite extensive with a lot of options and there is a lot of seating as well. The staff was great was able to get us seated right away and was kind. Now when it comes to the food, it was alright. Nothing about this place is special, its very average. I got to try the Chicken Fajita and the Cowboy Bacon burger. Both were good, just nothing very special I would come back for. Good bar type of food, and good place to hang out with friends. 7/10 recommend!

We visit lonestar whenever we have a margarita craving (they serve the best margaritas, hands down). Lately we've been addicted to their margarita flights to cut down the time we needed to decide on a flavor, think that is a genius idea! We also enjoyed joy their fish tacos - fresh and generously portioned, and their fairly tender ribs.

I remember I used to come here a bunch when I was a kid but haven't been back in years as an adult. I have to say I really was pleased with the food. The steak fajitas were really delicious, well seasoned, and very tender. The complimentary chips are also just so good. I feel like people would come here for chips and beer alone. Although net necessity a wing place, they were pretty good and their daily deal made it even better. Service was friendly and the resturant fun. I'm not sure if they still have it but they used to have a tortilla machine you could watch as they get baked. Was really good to relive my childhood and the food was great. I'd definitely go back again. Also the mini piñata was for a cinco de mayo promotion but shows how fun the resturant is.

Lone Star is a Tex Mex restaurant with various locations around the GTA. They are known for their fajitas. My friends and I shared the chicken fajitas and they were delicious! They come with copious amounts of cheese, veggies and toppings and are very filling. The service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance is nice, and there is ample parking in front of the restaurant.

AYO Wednesday 85-cent wing is CRAZY. The wings are all phat, juicy & full of flavour. It is highly recommended. I came with my family and ordered the whole meal (20 wings, a side of fries, and a blue cheese dip) for 21.98 before tax. You can't find anything in that price range with high-quality food anywhere in Toronto anymore. Shout out to our server Cayenne, too. Super lovely with absolute attention to detail (she served my mom a hot water pot with a lemon wedge). This was a 15/10 dining experience.

Extra large (32 oz) beer for 4$ extra over pint (21 oz). Too bad they longer serve blue moon. Service is excellent. They will bring free chips and salsa as you wait for food to be ready. Ambiance is chill with tvs all around to watch the games. Specials for Tuesday: grilled chicken fajitas (one person portion 19.99, two persons portion 29.99). Specials for Wednesday: 85 cents wings!!!! Tip: when ordering fajitas, the wrap and fixings are refillable

Totally excited to go for some fajitas with friends we hadn't seen in forever! Server was initially fine, took our drink orders, and then food orders. When ordering she asked, 'curly fries?' I replied 'normal fries please', she says 'okay, curly fries'. I assumed their normal fries was curly fries. She asked the same thing to everyone. Bill came and curly fries are +$3. WTFFFFFF. SCAM!! (Also, I prefer regular fries because I know curly fries are saltier) Not impressed. And other than taking orders and then, paying...she was no where to be seen. Food is salty, we need water, lady! Listen, I get that it is hard times. I get that nobody wants to be a server. I get that everyone is underpaid. But common. I also work hard for my money to be able to come out and dine in your restaurant. Food was alright, company was amazing, but the service and sketchy bill was a downer.

Saturday dinner and the place is poppin I think staff were in training as almost all staff were doubled up, my sympathies to the restaurant business as front line staff are difficult to find and turnover probably disrupts their customer service levels. Front reception staff were slow to acknowledge our entrance/reservations, were going to give us a center table although many booths were still available, once objection was raised they were flexible enough to switch us over to a booth. TV screens on all walls showing various sports giving this restaurant a sports bar type vibe If you're a pickle lover, you must try their salty pickle Margarita, sounds weird but it's delicious Steak Fajitas, meat grilled nicely on top of onions and peppers served on a sizzling platter Chicken enchiladas plentiful.although could have used more salsa/dressing Loved the sizzling apple crumble with caramel sauce for dessert Great dinner, walked away very satisfied

I had the pleasure of dining with some former coworkers, my friends. It's been a while since I've seen them, which made this outing special. While waiting for the last of our party to join us, we enjoyed their complimentary fresh-made nachos and salsa - lots of it! We all had Fajitas, two had chicken, two had beef. The meats all arrived on sizzling hot plates and the tortillas were freshly made, in-house. The fresh garnishes and rice were all perfect. Portions were generous and I was the only one to finish my meal. It was delicious! Having not seen each other for a while, we kind of overstayed our welcome. It was starting to get busy with their dinner crowd. Ooops!

Steak and chicken fajitas

The strawberry margarita was great, the steak and chicken fajitas were delicious. I would definitely order again. The service was a little slow but we did get in late and once we ordered the food everything came quickly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The apple pie in a skillet is a must. Yum! Oh and all the TV screens are on hockey.

Was looking for a restaurant that offers a warm patio for the cold covid nights, and happy to found it here! The patio may not appear as warm and cozy as other restaurants' in the area, but it's actually super toasty and warm with radiators above the tables keeping us and your food warm. The service was super friendly, welcoming, and caring. Especially with covid circumstances, I felt very safe and looked after, and staff were all super patient. It's my first time here, and of course I got their famous fajitas. The grilled steak + Buffalo chicken for 2. It comes with a side of rice, guac, sour cream, salsa, cheese, lettuce for you to build your own fajita. The protein comes on a sizzling plate with onions and bell peppers, and 4 tortillas per person in a box to keep them warm. Could definitely tell that the fajitas were freshly made in house and was delicious. Buffalo sauce on the chicken added a nice kick too. Perfect amount of food for 2 people!

Came here with my family and was seating right away! To start they provided chips and salsa as a starter which was very tasty. The drinks were one of the best parts of the dinner, I would recommend any of the margaritas! The quesadilla was delicious as well as the steak! I would come back for the fajitas as i've had them before and they are extremely delicious.

We came here on a Friday night and it was packed! We didn't have a reservation and was told it would be a 1.5 hour wait.. so we told the hostess that's okay, we'll go somewhere else for dinner. She stopped and asked if we are fine with being seated at the bar? We were okay with it. Once seated, it was a 20 minute wait to get our order in. Our servers were also the same staff that are in charge of bartending so they were quite busy. Other patrons sitting nearby also experienced a long wait. We got the orders in and the food arrived not too long after. No complementary nachos this time. For appetizer we shared the pretzel with queso. The pretzel was on the greasy side but the queso sauce was delicious for dipping. For the main I ordered steak fajitas this time, medium rare of course. The toppings were generous with four pieces of tortilla. I like that I got to build each one myself. Ended up with some leftovers from all the food. Taken off a star as the service was slow and infrequent. Otherwise, the food was decent.

I visited the Richmond Hill location, they also have a location in Newmarket. Restaurant is located in a plaza with lots of parking. Restaurant is clean and modern with 6-7 tables not a huge restaurant. They specialize in wood fire flamed burgers. They also have sandwich options. Service was great, we were greeted as we came in. You pay at the front counter and pick up your food and the front. Some of the item comes with fries and a drink and other items are burger only. They were great with substitutions. I changed the fries to onion rings and changed pop to water. No issues they were super flexible and I don't think they charged me for the changes. I ordered the mushrooms burger. It was so flavourful. Juicy beef patty with the perfect charred edges. My boyfriend got the Louisiana burger it was the perfect amount of spicy and a piece of deep fried cheese was so good. The burgers were huge I had to give the rest to my boyfriend. The onion rings were amazing. I would definitely come back again!!!!

This burger was incredible! I got the woody wood burger (dressed with fried onions, mushrooms and their sauce) with curly fries and it was one of the best meals I've had in ages. The burger was juicy and had a crust..! The curly fries were crispy like they should be...next time I'll try the fresh cut kind. You smell the wood burning right when you walk in. It's a good sized place with plenty of room to sit. I came right before a lunch rush so I'm lucky that my order only took about 10 minutes to prepare. When it tastes this fresh, I can wait! I can't wait to come back and try a different burger, and it will be soon!

It looked nothing like the cheeseburger from Burger Factory that's posted online. The patty was not even thick at all! I received a thin patty which contained cheese but I had to get to the center of the burger to get a bit of cheese oozing out. The rest of the patty was essentially a Mc D caliber patty. If you look at the pic I posted, the meat to bun ratio was also totally off. The bun was bigger than the meat so I had bites where I was literally just eating thick bread and veggies. The cheeseburger photos show big chunky meat patties so I'm wondering if I got an employee who didn't really know what he was doing? I opted for a combo and got mac n' cheese bites as my side. These were exceptionally disappointing. I'm no mac expert but I'd be willing to bet a dollar that they use Kraft dinner in these mac n' cheese bites. Overly salty, overly processed. No dipping sauce, just came with two ketchup packets on the side. For a meal that hit me for over $20 I truly felt ripped off. This combo was NOT worth $20+. I had a double Shack burger from Shake Shack literally a week prior to eating here and that burger was MILES better and way more "gourmet" tasting than this one.

Seemed a little too adventurous for me so I went with their promo at the time which was 2 cheeseburgers and fries for (i think $15). Burgers were 5oz each so you can imagine how full I was. Very nicely cooked, they use a really good quality sesame bun which I think makes a big difference when you bite into the burger. Good toppings and the fries were nice and lite. Not too oily and salty as other places are. A great deal that is probably not around anymore haha. Shoutout to Matthew there for hooking us up with some free ice cream too as they were just about to close.

If you add them on to a main, you're still charged $3.89 at the moment on ubereats. But if you order a side alone, it'll cost you $6+ (which I do still think is ridiculous since I don't think you're getting a bigger portion but I'd like to point out my mistake from my previous review). The burger still SLAPS like no other and the sauces are insane. That double double cheeseburger might just be one of the best hidden secrets in the richmond hill area. For $7.99 you're getting AAA freshly ground beef that completely destroys the Mcdonald's big macs nearby. I honestly think it even gives Hero Burger and Fresh Burger a run for their money. Best bang for your buck in the area imo (Fresh Burger raised their prices a lot). P.S. I think my recent, late night friday, uber eats order history is all Habibz.
