Strung out junkie guy who can't commit to time frames and uses his bag to patrol this complex. Can't even afford proper postage. Towed vehicle from a location that is not marked "tow away zone" also has signs for visitor parking stating no parking between 1am-5am. So apparently residents cannot have guests stay the night. Very clear this is his secured paycheck to secure his dope sack. 380 to release a vehicle from his lot. And when I had contacted him I was told to let him know I'd be there in 30-45 mins. Which I did. And he asked me to make my time frame more definite. I'm not too sure how to define a time from down from a 15 minute window. But annoyed I told him 7:53am which he agreed on and I have messages to show. I was there at 7:53 and he told me he doesn't have to rush these things. I'll tell anyone, if you don't know how to do a job, don't do it. About the only thing as bad as a child predator is a thief. This is this company. I understand towing for blocking emergency exits and what not. I'm for towing companies. I am not for junkies like this who yak out all night banking on this type of situation then still can't commit to their word. And I hope this gets back to him. A POS should understand they're a POS. Only hopes to better them. Seriously the dirtiest company to deal with. And I've been towed before, rightfully so. This was not right. This was theft and disrespect. I'd say I hope he sleeps well at night doing this but it's very apparent he does not, chasing that dragon. And let me remind everyone, it's understandable the state has their say in charges. These guys see my car with a parking pass everyday. Somehow it got knocked onto the floor. Rather than look, they towed. Rather than do the right thing and leave a note, they did the greedy thing. They legally extorted me because they couldn't be bothered to check the passenger side floor. What an awful way to enforce parking, laying in wait until long-time, unsuspecting tenant knock their pass off the mirror and swoop in with their tow truck and bung them in the bung-hole for $270. That's my experience anyway. Have fun using this company. Just because this is legal what they do does not make it right. Shame on you Lonestar. Lone star is aptly named. Why be five star company when you could be the business equivalent of cold In-n-Out fries? They're professional in the same way a mosquito is during a malaria outbreak. Their website is snarky, there's a picture of their tow yard as the dictionary entry for tacky hovel, and judging by their call response time, they train their employees at the Charlotte DMV. They post more signs than an astrologer with Alzheimer's yet somehow have none of the dignity. These are the kind of people who would voluntarily leave their family on Christmas to go out and tow Santa's sleigh while it was allegedly hovering illegally above a chimney as their oldest kid watches from the passenger seat, tiny face morphing into a permanent frown no therapy or 3 day mountain retreat will ever cure. We made assumptions about the practices of this company that were not true. Not only were they extremely communicative with us, they also reached out to our HOA to improve the signage in our neighborhood. They went above and beyond to sympathize with us and help improve the situation so that going forward this is not a problem for anyone else. I am a property owner and I have been taken advantage of for a long time with my neighbors parking in our business parking lot. We have continually asked them to respect our property and save the space for our customers. They never complied. I called Lone Star and they helped me solve the problem. We have a car abandoned in our parking lot. We contacted Lone Start Towing and they told us the simple procedure to have it removed. We followed the process and voila, they removed the car. It was such a relief to have that done. Thank you Lone Star, you guys are great. read more
