Enjoying the horseback riding and ranch - hosts were awesome and Lindsey the wrangler gave us an amazing tour up in the Montana mountains! They are ALL rescue horses given a new home and chance at life - they are treated very well by the family owned business

Nice ranch property. Went with my daughter for a two hour trail ride. Horses were groomed and trail was lovely and scenic. Ranch trail guide Randy was helpful and friendly. They were able to accommodate a heavy rider so I was grateful. My daughter loved the ride and the scenery. $50 and hour $75 for two hours plus tip per rider.

What a beautiful place. The staff was friendly, the location was peaceful, and the cabins were clean and full of amenities. Thank you for your hospitality and we will be seeing you again next year.

The entire staff was so nice and even with a mistake that was made they were quick to fix it beyond what we expected. Breakfast every morning was amazing! Wow that huckleberry jam! We did a trail ride as well and our guide was very informative. So happy we decided to stay here instead of a regular hotel!

What a treat!! My partner and I enjoyed a stay in one of the cabins at Lonesome Dove. The cabin was wonderful -- impeccably decorated, extremely cozy, and very clean. The grounds are full of wildlife; we saw bison, cows, horses, wild turkeys, rabbits, and more. Our hosts were also very gracious and helpful. It made for an incredibly relaxing, romantic getaway from city life. Highly, HIGHLY recommend visiting!!

The cabin was nicely decorated, and had decent accommodations. The 3-star review is due to lack of professionalism. We notified the front desk of an early check-in a few days prior to our arrival. Upon check-in we were told our cabin was not ready. The bed had not been made. We dropped our bags off and headed to a wedding...we were told the bed would be made by the time we returned. We returned close to 11pm, and the bed was still unmade. We slept on scratchy wool blankets that night. The next morning we wanted to check out early, but the front desk did not open until 8am. This was very inconvenient for us. Positives of the stay - clean cabin. Quiet grounds. Resident buffalo. Lots of cute bunnies. Cabin and teepee options. Complementary breakfast starting at 8am. Decent price.

We had a WONDERFUL stay at the Lonesome Dove guest ranch! Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and even brought my delicious breakfast out with a birthday candle and sang"happy birthday" for me! Our beds were comfortable and clean and our wall tent even came with a bonus "snuggling cat" (named Bandit, we found out later). I would highly recommend a stay here for anyone looking for a unique and distinctly Montana adventure

We stayed here this past weekend at the end of our trip to Montana to visit Glacier National Park, thinking it would be nice to spend our last night in a real bed--in a tipi no less! We weren't sure what to expect, but this place was phenomenal! The tipi was very cute and comfortable, the staff was so friendly and accommodating, the included breakfast was AMAZING, and the property itself was so beautiful and relaxing. We decided, somewhat last minute, to do a trail ride during our stay, and they accommodated us readily. Robin took us out on the trail and was such a friendly and fun person to talk to, it was a fantastic experience. I could not recommend this place any higher. If we are ever back in the area, and I hope we are, I wouldn't think twice about staying here again.

I stayed in one of the tipis, and the price was the best in Kalispell for the time I was there. I called them because I wouldn't be arriving until after the regular check-out time, and they happily stayed until I got there at 9pm. The tipi was clean and comfortable. For the price you are paying for the tipi, you can't expect it to be extravagant, luxurious glamping experience. But it was still a great place to stay, and provided from a fun ambience. The owners had two bison on the site, as well as cattle and horses. The included breakfast in the morning was very good, and ordered off a menu. I recommend the huckleberry pancakes!

Unfortunately the good people of Kalispell are super bored and driving past this hotel on Friday nights 30 times without a muffler on their car and blasting bad music is their idea of a good time on a Friday night. The same cars and motorcycles drive the same five blocks and then turn around and do it over and over and over. If you're going to Glacier National Park and looking for a nice place to sleep and get dinner and drinks, go to Whitefish. Whitefish is close to the airport too and has cute stores, good local hiking and apparently a classier group of local residents. This hotel isn't built to provide a comfortable experience for guests, at least not on Fridays.

The hotel itself is a 2 star experience but once you factor in staff services it's a 1 star. The remodel was half hearted and I'll bullet point all my problems with this one night stay in an Executive Room. - Parking fee is $12, website says $10 - Room descriptions inaccurate including bed types and number of TVs. - Odd dirty smell in room and bathroom - No clock, drapes, iron or board, coffee pot, safe, closet, dresser or any type of hanging racking for clothes in room. - Shower floor not level, resulting in water pooling to one corner where it stayed all night. This might explain odd, dirty smell. - Moth inside sheets of king bed, discovered at bed time after pulling sheets back. - No sheets on sofa bed or anywhere in room. Asked front desk for sheets when headed out for dinner, they offered to have housekeeping put sheets on but we declined and asked to get them upon my return. Housekeeping entered room anyway even with do not disturb on door. - TV didn't work nor did telephone when I tried calling down for tech support. - Walk downstairs to ask about TV, given instructions how to reset box but even that didn't work. Asked to move rooms but they were booked up. When I asked for discount, they offered $25 off a $350 rate. I asked for larger discount but was told manager must approve and they'd follow up with me but no one did and no discount provided at all. Later front desk clerk came to room, unplugged and plugged in new cords to get TV working. - Thin walls and windows, heard traffic and drunks leaving the bar across street late into the night and if it's a Wednesday morning you'll hear a dump truck at 6:20am. Through all this never even an apology from any staffer.

She was accommodating and promptly amended my situation by providing a clock as well as the flexibility of offering me a room on the top floor. Yes, it is our fault for paying that. For over $400 per night we didn't receive anything that you wouldn't get at a $120 per night Homewood. We still had to stop at the front desk everyday to get fresh towels, coffee, dishwasher detergent, and more because our room was only serviced once during our stay. This may have been the smallest Homewood room we've ever stayed in, and that is with it being the one bedroom suite! The lighting was poor throughout and was so dim in our bathroom that we asked to have maintenance inspect it. For some reason the dining room table was on casters meaning that slightly touching it sent it rolling a few feet across the floor. We asked for late checkout on our fourth day before leaving so that we could sleep in and were told no. Staff were very friendly and willing to chat. We spoke with our room's housekeeper who did a great job refreshing our room the one time that we actually got that. There was never a problem with parking, always plenty of spots right in front. Decent view from our room that included the mountains of Glacier National Park way off in the distance. Not in any way worth the price being charged. I would recommend if you want to spend this type of money that you can easily do so by just staying inside of Glacier National Park and having a much more memorable experience.
