It was obvious after waiting 6 months, that she was in over her head. After the first few months, she doubled her fees and still never met our agreed upon deadlines for getting our business books ready for tax preparations. We had to let her go and then we had to hire another accounting firm to help fix her mistakes. We have spent over $2500 to "undo" what she did. We have also spend over 100 hours of our personal time, going through our accounts on Quickbooks to fix it. It is so difficult to undo reconciliations and try and fix things that are classified wrong and reconciled wrong on QB. This has been a nightmare. We even brought this to Lee's attention when we realized Jill was unable to complete this job, and we were not refunded nor were we offered someone else in his firm to fix her mistakes. We were very disappointed with her lack of training and her inability to complete the job she agreed to do and was paid to complete. This is a warning to please be careful when hiring her. She is not qualified to handle small businesses on Quickbooks online.

I called Ruchi, quickly met with her, shared my copies of the tax documents I had and she took it from there. She reviewed them and discovered several errors in the filings from my previous tax advisor that would likely have caused me problems 'down the road', corrected the documents and got everything back to 'square one'! Oh, and I didn't mention these were for the IRS (US) and the state of Colorado where I had real estate investments. It took numerous calls to the state of CO to get everything resolved but she knew exactly what to say and what to do to get everything resolved with them. All is good now and I'll be using Ruchi for a long, long time! Thank you Ruchi!

He overpromised that he could do payroll services and completely dropped the ball and did not pay my employees multiple weeks. He charged me twice as much as promised and held me accounts hostage bc of bad reviews he received he repeatedly blamed me for. He was paid thousands of dollars and never went over final reports after multiple promises. I can say there are much much better companies at less than half the cost this guy charges. Stay away from Excel Financial Consultants, Jeff Peterson, and anyone involved.
