Our PB used them for Wetedge satin matrix. They first came out and did the wrong plaster. Read…read moreglass beads on white base. Looked like blood splatter. They agreed to switch the plaster out. The second time they came to rip the plaster out, but did not acid wash before rip-out, leaving a bunch of plaster inside the grout. The third time they came to redo the plaster. This time they did not cover the deck and literally destroyed the white deck with muddy shoes. Also the plaster was uneven and rough in the spa. We did not want to get it ripped a second time, so decided to accept as-is. The 4th time they came to acid wash, but had tough time removing plaster from the grout, and the PB had to call the tile guy again to get re-grout done. Luckily our PB was cooperative throughout the process. Not recommended. Ask your PB for Pebbletech options or some other Wetedge installer. .

I was undecided about what type of finish I wanted for my pool. When I called Pool Works they were very helpful and set me up with an appointment at their showroom to discuss my options. I met with Kevin and he showed me samples of the different finishes they offered and was very knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each finish. I supplied him with a copy of my design and he was able to quickly work up prices for me. I decided on the Wet Edge Satin Matrix finish in Aqua Blue for my pool and the Wet Edge Primera Stone finish in Azure Treasure for my hot tub. I decide to add the crushed abalone shells to my finish for a little extra sparkle in my pool and I am very glad I did. We had to adjust the install date once due to weather slowing down other phases of the build. The install crew was prompt and professional and the process was very interesting to watch. They took extra time to protect the area around my pool including my fence, home, garage as well as the the tile and the coping. The day after the install they sent a crew out to clean up the "slush pit", acid wash the finish to expose the aggregate, power wash the tile and coping to get any extra plaster off and to start the fill up process. I must say they did the BEST job cleaning up after themselves out of any contractor I hired. They used two chemicals (pool tec and beau tec) to help control the plaster dust and ensure a quick and easy startup. This was essential to the process and helped me be able to swim weeks sooner than I would have without the chemicals. We did have a slight problem with one table sleeve being set unlevel. I notified them and was contacted by them almost immediately and they explained my options and we set a date to have the sleeve drilled out and reset. They completed this repair today and its 100% right :) Everyone who comes over to swim is impressed with the brilliant Wet Edge finishes and the quality of the plasterwork on my pool. I am very impressed with Pool Works in every possible way & highly recommend them to anyone looking to plaster or re plaster a pool.

It looks like a kindergarteners art project. There are also 11 clumps of plaster that were dropped on the floor of the pool! I wound up hiring a leak detection company. The leak was never where the minor cracks were. It was coming from the spa. Oh...and my new pool company....they actually showed up to clean my pool the day after the derecho storm where most everyone was without power! That's a professional company with outstanding service! We used Delta Pool Renovations to completely refresh our saltwater pool (see before and after…read morepictures). After 18 years, the quartz pool surface was chipping away and marred with severe rust stains. It didn't look inviting at all. The flagstone coping was also looking a bit ragged. Despite annual sealing, some of the flagstone coping was chipping and falling apart. The tile around the border of our pool was faded and the mastic sealant on our decking was peeling away and plants were happily growing in the cracks. Our stone waterfall had white mineral deposits that added to the "aged" look. It was time for drastic action. I consulted with four different pool renovations companies, and Humberto at Delta Pool Renovations immediately stood out for his responsiveness and confidence that he could make things look as good as new. Whereas other companies seemed to offer a piecemeal approach to their logistics, Humberto always treated all aspects of the project as a single package deal. This, along with the glowing praise from others in my neighborhood, was enough to win Delta Pool Renovations the job. After discussing our wants, Humberto put together a written bid and once we had that squared away, we went with Humberto to pick out materials. We ended up putting in new travertine coping, new glass tile for the spa and the pool, and of course, a new pool surface. Humberto's crew even rebuilt our spa spillway into the pool for a more modern look. Once everything was set, Humberto worked out a slot on his schedule and completed the entire job from start to finish in less than 10 days (I was blown away because other companies told me it would take at least 30 days). Humberto let me pay 1/3 up front, 1/3 after the coping was completed, and 1/3 at completion. I really liked the flexibility of these terms. All of the work was done to high standards. Humberto came by multiple times each day to check on progress and, in some cases, had the workers make corrections to keep things to his liking. There were absolutely no surprises in the process and all of the workers were respectful of our property. We selected the StoneScapes Micro Pebble for the pool and spa and love that it is durable and yet relatively smooth and easy on our feet. The new finish is gorgeous and, combined with the new coping, mastic, and bead blasting to remove mineral deposits on the rock wall, the pool really does look brand new. There was one thing that Humberto told me up front he would not be able to do and that is polishing the exposed cut-edge of the travertine coping. The exposed edge is totally fine, but I prefer a honed look so I'm taking up that project on my own. I would have rather just paid Humberto a bit extra to do it but he didn't have any workers with the right type of tools. I am thrilled with the work done by Delta Pool Renovations and strongly recommend you have them give you a bid for your pool remodel.
