Once decided the equipment was secured and beautifully installed. He oversaw the installation and we chatted where he shared his focus on family and his commitment to not do business on the weekend and devote that time to family - I was impressed!! Two years later the pump motor starts eating capacitors then fails completely (on a Saturday of course) so I call Mark knowing he won't answer on the weekend but will return the call promptly on Monday which is exactly what happened. He had a technician out the next morning to look at the pump and confirm it was a warranty issue, he then worked with the manufacturer to get a new motor out and installed at zero cost to me. He communicated with me daily on the status of the parts, worked with the vendor to get a motor expedited and get me back online. All in all and excellent experience! To the reviewer who complained that they do not respond to pool "emergencies" on the weekend I have to shake my head - it's certainly a first world problem to consider not having a pump system running on your personal pool over the weekend an "emergency". They are definitely not the cheapest but we felt like we were paying for quality service. (Although Mark refuses to respond to emergencies on the weekend since that is "his time".) Other than that, everything was going well. Until recently, Unified was out cleaning the pool and the technician for some reason couldn't get the spa blower to turn off. Well the circuit board had short circuited. Thankfully we had someone here remodeling our bathroom and he was able to help the technician get it off. Mark arrived and reasoned that our variable speed motor that he advised us to purchase and was installed by him was not getting the power it needed. He stated and I quote "when he installed the motor for us they didn't know that the amps in the breaker box needed to be 20 and we only had the motor on a 15amp. (Well hell it's your job to know that before you install NOT mine.) Our circuit board had shorted out and needed to be replaced for $1500+. In addition we needed to run a new line from the breaker box to the pool because we had to up the amps and that was another $3000+(not an electrician so lingo might be a bit off). We advised Mark that he didn't let us know about the electrical side that was needed and asked him if he would offset some of the cost since now we have to pay for both a circuit board and to run the line! This man said he will have to back out and discontinue our services! He canceled our services and left us with a pool that we couldn't turn on. I simply couldn't believe it. After the first cleaning we thought he would actually try to clean the sticks and dirt from the bottom of the pool, yes the pool was clear and we could swim but there was a lot of sticks and leaves still on the bottom of the pool. The guy responded from me asking why he didn't clean the sticks and dirt out and I asked if he was coming the next day to do it. He said he's not coming back the next day I needed to wait until Tuesday and be happy that I had a fast turn around for my pool clearing out. It was barely a week and the leaf collector in the pool was filled that shows after two "cleanings" that he didn't ever vacuum the pool. We canceled our cleaning because it never was fully cleaned and we were quoted $185 and wound up with tax $200. When he came we had to pay like $500 for repairs then that same day he asked us to pay $200 again for may. We found a cheaper place and we will learn how to clean our own pool. I swam in it today and theirs dirt on top of the water, dirt inside the pool and on the bottom. Really from chlorine other than that and emptying the trays I don't see any other cleaning. Also the first cleaning we said we needed someone to get in and scrub the pool when we talked on the phone he said oh you might wanna get someone to scrub the pool I'm thinking I asked you to do that but all I replied with was okay so we could end the conversation.

First, they took the lights out of my pool and hot tub and plastered over the openings. I had to call him and he sent somebody out to fix the problem and reinstall the lights. A month later the light was floating in my pool. It took 2 months to get that fixed. It turns out my waterfall wouldn't work because of how they fixed the leak in my pool. For months Morris said he would fix it and I finally had heard enough and I hired another company to fix it. They had installed the waterfall in the first place. This started in April and its now the end of September. That's how long I waited and the cost of the repair $4,800 and when the pool was drained this time I was shown "turtle shells" where a crappy plaster job was done. I now have to take Morris to court because he won't pay for his screw ups. Less time on TikTok and more time supervising his not trustworthy employees might have helped
