Visited Long Acre Farms for a special themed event; a festive fall book fair. The event was packed but there was plenty of overflow parking across the road. The barn was spacious and fully decked out for fall. The line to get drinks and food went quickly. I loved the cider slushie I tried. The small was only $3.50. I was also able to enjoy a delicious burger and chips for under 8 dollars. The farm has plenty of seating and even cozy fire pits to hang around. I enjoyed the fall ambiance and photo opportunities throughout. I will have to return for the moonlight maze! read more

Just visited for a work gathering. Just love long acres in the fall. The wood fired pizza was divine and the semi dry cider was delicious. It was too late to start the maze but will be back to do so. My 16 year old son didn't feel there was much for him to do outside of the maze but he was sharing the memories he had when he visited when he was little. Nice family friendly farm, although it's not your typical farm where you get produce or pick fruit. They have an awesome "back 40" that is full of activities for kids, like jumping pillows, slides, and a huge sandpile. There is a charge for this area, but if you get a season pass, it pays for itself in 5 visits and the pass includes the moonlight corn maze! We've been several times and it is never busy, which we love. They also have a winery with delicious wine slushies, as well as an ice cream stand. If you get a chance, I highly recommend checking this place out! read more

It has been a long time since I last visited the corn maze. I decided that with covid restricting our activities this year, Is try to incorporate some more outdoor activities with the students. Only a couple took me up on the offer this time, and with chilly temps and dampness in the air I didn't blame them. Those that did go enjoyed the novelty and we found almost all the puzzle pieces before making it out in 1 hour 5 minutes. There is so much here for small children and busy Saturdays you're sure to be surrounded by kids. Check out the moonlight mazes if you're looking for a more grown up option. read more

Venture thru the maze, take a tractor ride, bounce on the tire or the balloon, crawl thru the huge tires, sit on tractors, play in ships, trains, it's amazing for kids! About a 30-40 minute drive from Rochester though seems to always draw a large crowd, especially during the fall season. Plenty of parking available, with a large grass field across the street as an overflow lot. Most recent visit was for the moonlight corn maze. The maze isn't haunted at night (no complaints) though be sure to bring a flashlight. The price is slightly higher than going in the daytime and doesn't include the back 40 activities (closed at night). Much cheaper than whickam farms but also less polished. Entrance fee of 12 dollars per person includes most of the actitvites. There is an area with free stuff to do but it's small. Lots to do here including mazes, a few types of wagon/train rides, jumping pillows, slides, a bunch of homemade jungle gyms, pedal cars, etc. Pumpkins are for sale here along with fruits, vegetable, honey, and every other farm related food in the gift shop. A lot of fall themed food options like apple cider slushies, kettle corn, ciders and all sorts of fry cakes. They also have Brick oven pizza, icecream a full grill menu, garbage plates, and beer on tap. We had a good time untill we were stung by all of the bees that are swarming around. I think we barely scratched the surface of this place but my 2.5yo really really loved it. The free section had lots of wooden figures to climb on like a pirate ship, train, and monster truck with slides and tunnels to explore. The "back 40" that you paid to get access to had huge jumping pillow things- one for big kids and one for littler kids. There was a huge tube slide that was so fun, a sand box, music wall, spider net, and lots of other places to play and explore. We were visiting the area and found it, but if I lived nearby I could imagine coming here pretty often. I didn't explore the market or maze, but the pie smelled good, and there were lots of pumpkins and similar things you could buy from what I could tell. This spot was a blast for fall family fun! We have a 3 year old and there was plenty for him to do. My husband and I had a great time too! We all did their moonlight maze (our time was 5pm) and worked our way through that. Afterwards we hung out where most of their other activities are such as tire swings, basketball, the bounce trampoline and more. Our son loved their hot wheels car slide and went on that for about 30 minute straight! Great day of family fun! $11 for endless fun for everyone. A jumping pillow, maze, train ride for the kiddos, hayride for all ages, plus endless games for the kids. They also have beer, wine and delicious food. We had the caprese panini with chicken - very good. Plus they have donuts, cider, kettle corn, fudge, hot dogs and hamburgers. They had a nice fire going outside which was really nice since it was a bit chilly when we went. They also had helicopter rides across the street going. Not sure if that's everyday or when that's available but we took advantage of that and it was fun. They also have a really nice winery that does tastings. The rose is my favorite! Came out here for my sons annual Harvest Festival that's held here every year. It was so much fun So many things to do and see. We didn't get a chance to do the maze but there's so much to do that my son wasn't too upset. The owners seem very nice and I can't wait to go back. To be honest, I don't really go out to Macedon all that often, but when I do you just know it's gotta be for Long Acre Farms! Between their freshly made apple cider and donuts, the extremely familial feel of everyone who works there, or truly the greatest corn mazes you'll experience anywhere in upstate NY, this farm is rocking! If I were to pick one season here that I like more than any of the rest, I would absolutely have to say mid-Fall. The reason being of course - their Moonlight Mazes! Yes, you read that right! Every October or so, Long Acre Farms opens up their "Amazing Maize Maze" in the evenings for you to venture through, collect clues, and find your way out while solving riddles along the way. It usually takes my friends and I anywhere from 1 - 2 hours since we're all diehard completionists who want to solve everything, but honestly there's just something so exciting about searching a maze in the darkness for clues, trying to piece together a map and figuring out how to escape amidst limited and confusing surroundings! Every year they grow the corn differently to plan for the next year's maze as well, so there's no risk of repeat. That is to say, there is no one maze that you'll see over and over, year after year. The people that run the farm always seem to really care about everyone's enjoyment, and just are so dedicated to making an awesome experience for everyone each year I've gone. So if you haven't experienced it for yourself yet, it's worth a go! The food is luscious and the maze makes for a perfect afternoon or evening outing. They also have a store on the side with a bunch of chachkis, snacks, and a bunch of fantastic produce and cheeses farmed locally in NYS to dive into as well. So what I'm essentially saying is that you can't go wrong with any visit here! They are great, and best of all they'll make YOU feel great. read more

I came here the other day to celebrate a coworker who just landed a new job, and I was so pleasently surprised by how big it is! There is so much here - a farm market, a winery, a wood fire pizza oven, an ice cream shop, and more! We called ahead to let the staff know we were coming and they were absolutely amazing. They set aside cider, donuts, and popcorn for us to make sure they had enough. It was unfortunately cold and rainy on the day that we want, but this place would be lovely to bring your kids for some fall fun while the adults enjoy some wine! I got the pleasure of going to this farm for their corn maze! It was so much fun! Each year has a new theme for the maze; this year was Kodak. Inside the maze there are clues to solving a cross word puzzle and puzzle pieces to complete the map of the maze. The maze was pretty crowded but you could move around alright. We saw a lot of places were people broke the rules and cut through the corn. I don't know why anyone would want to cheat! For outside the maze there is alcohol to buy, fire pits to sit around, music to listen to, and more. This is a great fall adventure! read more

Really impressed with the moonlight maze. The maze was incredible and 100% worth the money. It's about 5 acres and challenging with several puzzles to solve throughout the maze. It's a great alternative to haunted houses. They also offer fresh made to order food like wood fired pizzas, fresh popped kettle corn and apple cider donut milkshakes. Went for a chili and wine tasting today. Not sure who made the white chicken chili and red chili with a roasted red pepper taste and quinoa in it but they were delicious!! Sampled 5 wines - 2 paired perfectly with the chlii's, as they recommended - and each wine was fantastic. So much flavor in the 3 reds, the "blue" wine is not made with grapes but with blueberries and I sampled the Traminette. I should have bought a box of the wines I tried. WOW! Service was good, wines were delicious, cute little shop with knick knack wine stuff. This was my first visit and I'm looking forward to when they're open full-time, normal hours again. I could see it being a great place for families and the kids when it comes time for the maze, and a fun spot with friends on a sunny, spring afternoon. read more

I went to Long Acre Farms over the weekend with my family (husband, toddler, and infant). We had a FABULOUS time. The cost of the day was VERY reasonable, there were fun things for all of us to do, and it was NOT insanely busy which made for a much more pleasant family outing. We often go to Stokoe, which we love, but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of Long Acre Farms. We also took a walk to J & D Winery (right next door) for a tasting and there was a corner of kiddie toys to entertain my 3-year-old. We will absolutely be back. We LOVED it! read more

I would not recommend this place. We have lived in the area for many years but have only visited the farm a few times during the fall for the maze. Recently we went with our family from out of town and purchased ice cream. It was absolutely disgusting and I did not even allow my children to eat it, we threw it out immediately. The hard ice cream tastes as if it has been sitting in a freezer for months and has an extremely sandy texture to it. Will not be coming back again and advise you all stay away as well, unless you like terrible freezer burned ice cream. Try marks pizzeria, they always have amazing and fresh tasting ice cream. read more

Prices on ice cream are INSANE. We've gone to this spot for years, but I can't see going again due to the inexplicable cost of ice cream. The locale itself is nice, there are things for kids to do such as running around (the best things cost money but young kids still enjoy the free things). Normally we'd go and get ice cream. Prices have been jacked up to the sky. Yesterday I spent $5.35 on a waffle cone with two scoops, which I thought was crazy. Then I ordered a small kid's ice cream in a plastic bowl (one scoop). I've been there at least five times, and never had a bad experience. They change things up quite a bit throughout the year - usually in time with the seasons - and have a number of things to do. Great for a little distraction with the kids, or a pleasant, mellow place for adults, too. They offer fresh produce, fudge, baked goods, all kinds of candy and gadgets or toys, jellies and sauces, and natural bath/body products. Ice cream, too. I forget what they have for activities in spring/summer, but in the fall, there's the corn maze. Prices aren't crazy, though of course stuff like fresh fudge can cost you. Service is good. The workers are mostly teens and they've all been professional so far. Not particularly warm or genuine, but professional. Only negative is that there are bees around the trash cans during the summer. May be an issue for those with allergies. read more

This is a nice wedding venue, but I attended a wedding here tonight with an open bar, and at 9pm with AT LEAST an hour left in the night they were "out" of water, which was just tap water in a dispenser. This is as dangerous as it is frustrating, as people who are dancing and/or drinking need water to stay hydrated. This is a huge disappointment as a guest, and if I was the host of the event I would be mortified. If you choose to host an event here, I'd suggest demanding that they have water available all night long (it's free, after all!) or buying your own bottled water and bringing it yourself. read more

This is an absolutely wonderful farm with such an incredible amount of activities for the kids and adults. My son is four years old and my daughter is seven years old. Our family always have such a great time there. There is something fun for all ages. We particularly love doing the corn maze. My four year old son can't wait every year to hit their corn maze. Its definitely the best in upstate New York. This year the kids even tried the mining for gems and they have't stopped talking about going back to do it again. We could spend an entire day there and not get bored. It is always a very clean and well maintained property which is an extra bonus! When I think of everything you get for one price you can't find this kind of fun anywhere in Rochester for this price. Well worth the visit! read more
