Visited November 9th..see my receipt. First of all the warm and gracious owners allowed me in even though they were setting up for an event! It has a romantic vibe for wedding or special event! This winery is located off Ward Road in Oroville. It's close to town yet you feel you are in the Country! I think they have about 26 acres with a pond and make some delicious wines...including cabs...pinots..and sangiovose. They have a tasting room that is welcoming along with a larger area for events. They also sell some swag. I bought the Cabernet Sauvignon and the owner was so kind he gave me some delicious mandarins they grow on the property ! So juicy! I love the bridge and the cozy feel to the place. Family run! Although they don't have food or a wine club at this moment it is a great place to have a picnic with some exceptional places to enjoy the scenery! It was a Great experience with good wines and family atmosphere ( love the cute dogs!). Husband and wife owners and their family are kind and welcoming! Don't miss out on this place ( check their hours first). Bring a picnic basket and buy some of their wines and relax! read more

I enjoyed the wine so much I joined the club. The estate is beautiful with a cute tasting room and lovely pond and waking path. It is also dog-friendly. I have to say the 1-star review here is uncalled for. My tasting fee was waived with a purchase of one bottle of wine. Though I would have been happy to pay it. It is only $5, and this a small, local business. The tasting included at least 7 wines. Toby, one of the owners, poured for us. He was very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. I loved the small, local feel. They also sold local almonds, eggs and beef. read more

The owner and his dog, "Marvin" were gracious hosts. Their wines were amazing! The Cabernet was my favorite. The location was beautiful. Plenty of spots to enjoy your wine and take in the beauty of the property. We will be back just to go here. read more

For five dollars you can taste 8 wines and one port, how can you bet that!?! They also have organic meats from the cattle raised on the grounds, local olive oil to try/but, and almonds you can enjoy while tasting. The grounds are very pretty and you are encouraged to walk them while tasting. A pond, creek, and vineyards to check out as well as tables if you would like to bring a picnic. Not a big place but beautiful and the people are always very nice! read more

Love wine! Love GOOD wine! Love tasting! Beautiful winery but tighter than a duck in Napa!!!The owner/ just a manager is snooty and has no hospitality. I am an avid taster in Napa, Paso Robles and Livermore and have NEVER been treated so crudely. I BELONG TO 5 wineries. There is NO CLUB membership , and the explanation was rude! We DO NOT HAVE A MEMBERSHIP HERE BECAUSE WE ARE 1 of 4 wineries in the area". I asked if I purchase a couple bottles of wine do you waive your tasting fee, "No"! Okay! A 7$ fee may not be much to you, but if You plan on buying a few bottles rather than paying a fee they could at least let ME TASTE a couple of there varietals. BTW they DO NOT let you keep the wine GLASS!!! I looked on map before I came to visit the area and there are 12 wineries!!! I also had a question about a particular wine and the owner as he first stated/ then manager said, "nobody" around here makes that"! I visited 3 wineries today and the other 2 carried the varietals I asked about. Wow! The grounds are very welcoming and thats about it. The want to be owner/ really manager said, "Sit outside near the creek / mosques is really nice". A winery as I have learned in life should be warm and welcoming, as I'm sure this one could be. The wine is okay but not worth the taste! Whatever these other reviewers are saying is false.!!!!!! Hard work pays off and owners have done a great job. Great place for private party or a Weekend wine tasty with friends.

Initially this place was okay, we were coming from Gray Fox winery (great place!) and someone mentioned Long Creek at a restaurant we went to near by. When we went an employee said the tasting was $5 for 7 wines and the glass. I asked if we bought a bottle the $5 would be waived. She said yes. After tasting I wanted to purchase a port. Which other than the port the wines really weren't that great. Most of my family poured their tastings out because the wine was so bad. I asked a guy, probably the same guy Brittany N. mentioned in her review which may even be one of the owners which makes his attitude even more disappointing, I asked if I could get the $18 bottle with the $5 waived. He bluntly said no. I said, really? I'll get the bottle if the $5 is waived, it's $18 for $5 and most wineries do that. He, again, bluntly said, no they don't. I know for a fact most wineries do and told him such. He ignored me and I said I'll just pay the $5. On top of that I'm pretty sure he was drunk because he was acting tipsy and his face was super red. Unprofessional all around. Now I know not all wineries waive the tasting fee (again, I said most not all) but it's extremely bad business to tell your customers one thing and then be rude to them and argue with them when they bring it up later. Extremely bad customer service and business sense. I and my family will never be returning to this place again. Update: I e-mailed them about a week ago on this and have yet to get a reply. Again, bad customer service, they obviously don't care about their customers or how they treat them. Don't waste your time going to this place. read more

I absolutely love this place. For 5.00 you get wine sampling and the wine glass to keep. Cheese and crackers, and friendly staff and service also! Time to go back with the hubby again! The sweetheart red wine was my favorite! Must get another bottle soon. My favorite wine tasting experience so far! read more

The owner is one of the nicest guys! Everyone who comes in gets VIP treatment. Definitely my favorite winery in the area. You get a large selection of locally grown wines, olive oil, and almonds. AND you get to keep your stemless glass at the end. read more
