This office has the best staff. Truly refreshing to feel that my dads needs are being heard, understood and helped. Such a caring staff, especially Rebecca. Rebecca is patient, understanding, kind and always wears a smile on her face. My dad was recently diagnosed with dementia and if theres one name he remembers when we visit is Rebecca. On prices the after sale service is a ripp off. Do not respect United Healthcare AARP $65 for after sale visit, I was charged $135 for a reset to a previous one.... read more

Had a bad experience with the doctor. The girl who did the scheduling was very nice but the doctor is a rip off. Took my aunt there for a hearing aid and although the exam seemed adequate once we sat to discuss her options that's when the doctor crossed the line & went into con artist mode. If I didn't experience it for myself I wouldn't have believed it. Before going there I already did my research & knew pricing. When he was showing us his chart for the levels of the different hearing aids I asked if I could take a photo so it's easier to remember pricing but he got visibly upset and put the chart down. My aunt also noticed it & at that point she know I had to take over. He gave me no eye contact at all even when my aunt told him that I'm the decision maker. Well luckily I have a great memory & when I left and compared the prices. He was trying to rip her off by approximately 5k for the exact same hearing aid. Don't let his dapper demeanor fool u. He definitely takes advantage of the older generation. Thank goodness I was there. read more

I have been going to LI Audiology for the past 6+ years now. The main reason I have stayed with Dr. Glasser and his team is for their professionalism, and wanting to really help their patients. I had purchased a set of new hearing aid from Dr. Glasser and there were some issues which required me to go in several times for adjustments, and ultimately was an issues with hardware. He reached out to the Manufacturer on my behalf and outlined the issues I was having and was able to get new set Hearing aids. During the many emails and visits to his office Dr. Glasser and his staff were always very professional. Dr. Glasser really did want to ensure that I was happy and the hearing aids did not have any issues. Be very careful with this place. They charged me $ 300 to replace 2 little wires in my aids. I later checked with 2 other Starkey providers and both said it would be no more than $ 50 for each wire. Get the cost before they do the work. read more

It was time for me to upgrade my hearing aid and Long Island Audiology was highly recommended to me, hence my first visit to their facility. I called Rebecca, who promptly returned my initial phone call, answered my many questions, and scheduled my first visit. I was introduced to Dr. Maria Berenato who explained all the options available to me, and then proceeded to do extensive testing in order to determine the best hearing aid for my specific hearing loss situation. She then explained the various attributes of each different type of hearing aid available for me to consider. Based on her recommendations, I made my decision as to which type hearing aid I preferred, and she explained the pros and cons of each hearing aid in the category I selected. I was extremely impressed by the extent of her knowledge of each type, and together we decided on the exact model I would buy. I found Rebecca and Maria both to be patient, professional, and extremely knowledgable in their individual areas of expertise, and am extremely confident that I made the right choice in the hearing aid selected, and the provider I chose to dispense it to me. I would never refer 'Long Island Audiology Pc' to anybody. I made an appointment with them only for hearing aid consultation. At the time of making the appointment, I was not informed at all that their consultation is not free. When I reached for my appointment, the audiologist, Ms Sharon Judlowitz got all the paperwork initially signed including for the payment of the hearing aids and even at that time also, I was not even cursorily mentioned for my info sake that I have to pay for their hearing aid consultation. As soon as the consultation started, the audiologist told me that I have to pay one hundred dollars for their consultation fee. As I don't have a job, I immediately expressed my inability to pay for their unexpected concealed surprise. She immediately wrapped up the meeting rudely without providing any consultation or service and now, I am amazed to get an invoice in the mail for their consultation fee. I am completely astonished to learn of their hidden consultation fee as I called a couple of audiology services in the same neighborhood and they are all free. Their consultation is basically nothing but the sales pitch for the hearing aid manufacture they work with and I can't believe that I have to pay for their salesmanship. Hearing aids is a big capital investment and can't be decided then and there without shopping around and personal deliberations within its due time period especially when it's being bought on financing options. I have never heard of a salesperson charging sales commission to the client. I would advise everybody to be aware of these kind of purely commercial practices being run in the name of the noble profession of healthcare. No wonder, they don't have a parking space for their clients and their office was totally deserted without any clients. The audiologist was running the heist practice single-handedly by herself without any visible office help. read more
