I told her we just spent $60 in here, could I please have a plastic cup of water. She then got combative, raised her voice and yelled. "You are being rude to me. You need to stop." This was done in front of other customers and my children who were frightened by her reaction. I have never had such a rude interaction at a restaurant. It is clear she was having a bad day or was extremely emotional for some reason however, she shouldn't bring that to a place of business. The Pit Stop gas station is one with lower gas if you pay cash, so you know what to do - bring CASH (but they do take credit if needed). This location is a favorite with truckers, so you will always see trucks there too. It is also a stop for school buses, so if you have the timing just off you may wait a while at the DD while the kids order the Mocha Late Half Caf whatever... Once or twice when this happened to me, I just stepped to the front, said "Id like a medium coffee, light and sweet, and its worked.
