He does not bother to call or reschedule. He made an appointment with me for a month ago never shows up and never calls. He does not care if he inconvinced you,he acts although he is doing you a favor Meanwhile we are paying him not the other way around. I noticed other higher ratings it makes me wonder how someone like Shannon for years doesn't show doesn't call is,rude. Suddenly turned into a responsible caring professional?? Everyone leaving a one star review is right on the money with this company. Scheduled an estimate with them and it went well. Went ahead and scheduled the cleaning. They said they would call me before coming. They didn't come on the scheduled time. Received a phone call hours later saying they were "backed up". Would've been nice to know that in advance. Rescheduled for another day. Guess who came? Nobody. This time though we didn't even receive a courtesy call saying why. Called back in a week or so and re-rescheduled for the following day. Nobody came yet again. At this last time we received another "we were backed up" phone call a few hours after our scheduled slot. Maybe if you're so backed up you shouldn't even be scheduling things for that day? Will never call them again. read more

This could have been a 5-star rating, but here is the reason why it isn't: I think they are fairly busy and get a lot of customers, hence why many people have experienced no-shows. For me however, the individual who does the estimate did show up one day, yes randomly, while I was at work and left an estimate in my mailbox. The quote was extremely fair, and he even lowered it further by a tad bit after I had called to finalize the deal. A team of foreign-born workers came the next day and replaced all the gutters and the leaders. I must admit, I was really impressed with the work. They used quality products and cleaned-up after they were done. However, and this is where they fell a little short, they broke one of the slate tiles on the front side of the roof. What made matter worse is that not only they never disclosed the incident, but they tried to fix it by replacing the tile with some kind of white plastic material and left it as is. I noticed it after doing a thorough inspection of the work the next day. I called the company back, left a message with the woman who always answers the phone, but never heard back from anyone. I can live with one broken tile, but it's the way they handled the situation held me back from giving a 5-star rating. read more

The owner, Shannon, took our $3000 deposit and never showed up. I was skeptical as to why he demanded a down payment before starting work, but my family and I obliged his request. This was 5 months ago back in June. Only time I managed to get ahold of him is by calling him under a different number, and he would just give us an arbitrary date of when he'd start- and he would never show. In the past they were good- however now they are awful. They came to clean my gutters the end of May (I left a check in the mailbox like usual). They came & didn't really clean the gutters. I was still able to see leaves in the gutters over my garage. The next time it rained, water was pouring over my top gutters (so I doubt those were cleaned well either). After the rain, there is about two inches of water left in the gutters - meaning that they didn't clean the downspouts /leaders either. I have been calling for the past two months- they say they are going to come and fix it and never do. I just hired a new company to come and I put in a complaint with the BBB to try to get my money back. read more

You get what you pay for. The price was pretty cheap in comparison and that is why I did not mind waiting and calling to remind them to come do the service. After 3 wks went by and stil no response I called someone else. They cleaned the gutters flushing it with water and it took them a long time to clean all the left over stuff from years of improper cleaning. Now my leaders are stuffed and need to pay someone else to unclog them. So no I did not save any money. read more

All these one star reviews are spot on. Made an appointment for Monday, didn't show up, so we called at 4pm and they told us they can be there Wednesday. Wednesday came and they never showed, so once again we called at 4pm, said they'd be there Thursday at 11am. Thursday at 11am came and they didn't show up. Called at 12pm Thursday to cancel. The woman on the phone seemed as if she wasn't surprised that we cancelled, since I'm sure it happens all the time, and I'm not surprised. This whole operation is a mess. read more

I called Advanced Gutters to help me patch roof because rain was expected the next day. I contacted the representative 3 times during the week to schedule the delivery of a 10 yard dumpster to my house. I told him it was a must that I have the dumpster delivered sometime on Saturday, because I had someone helping me with the clean up on Sunday. I spoke with the representative Friday night and everything was all set for delivery on Saturday morning. He told me that they will call me when they plan to deliver. I waited until 11:55 am and did not receive a call. I called him and he said that the driver could not find the key to the truck. You know my dog ate my homework. Needless to say I was not able to get a delivery on Saturday and my plans were ruined. I would not recommend this irresponsible company to anyone. read more

I had a very good experience with this company. I called for an estimate and was given an appointment for the same day and the owner came in person and on time. I received a fair quote which I accepted a few days later. I was immediately scheduled to have my fascia boards capped in vinyl and all gutters and leaders replaced. They just installed gutters on our home and power washed our house. The price was more than reasonable compared with two other estimates I received. They arrived on time and the workers were super professional and polite. Shannon's brother supervised the installation of the gutters and was a delight to deal with. He made suggestions as to where to put the downspouts and made sure the pitch of the gutters would result in proper drainage. They also gave a ten year written guarantee. Of course it has not rained yet to actually test the drainage but I promise to write back if there is a problem. The power washing was also priced reasonably and done well. read more

A few years ago my neighbors were getting their gutters done and I needed them also, I called advanced gutters got a reasonable price and had them done at same time, great job. Last year, I re-sided and decided to change some of the gutters to work with the new stone. Advanced came, made some great suggestions and when I got home from work, found them installed and exactly how we had discussed them.. Whenever I call for a cleaning, they come, leave a bill and I come home to clean gutters and a reasonable bill. I recommended them to my sister who has a 100 year old house and they updated them and she is very happy. I have worked with them 4 times already and every time has been great. We contracted Advanced Seamless Gutters & Leaders of Oceanside, New York to fix a problem we had with a gutter in the rear of our house. The owner, Shannon Girardi, came over to inspect the problem and suggested that we replace all of our gutters and leaders, since he said that they looked like they were shot. He even suggested adding an extra gutter on the front of the house. His price was reasonable, so we decided to have him put in new seamless gutters and leaders on the entire house. His men came over a few days later to do the job. We were pleased at first, since not only did they complete the job, but also found what was causing the original problem. One of the eaves at the back of the house had a slight opening and birds had built a nest inside it. The men removed the nest and finished the job. All was well until our first rainstorm when we found out that the gutter on the back of the house was not installed properly and rain was pouring behind the gutter. Hard to believe that a company that installs gutters all the time could make such an egregious mistake. We called the company about this problem, and the receptionist said, "I'll tell my boss." We never got a call back. Then we emailed Shannon directly and he said he would send someone over the next day, but no one showed. Further emails were not answered. And calls to the office were answered, but nothing was done. Obviously, you can't let these guys leave the job without thoroughly testing the new gutters, probably with a hose. Don't assume they are experienced enough to do the job correctly in the first place. They're amateurs at best. read more
