I paid David Dukoff $350 to do my taxes. He (supposedly) set up an electronic payment from my bank…read moreto the IRS. I recently got a notice from the IRS of non-payment of taxes along with penalty fees. When I finally got through to him (after calling 3 times), he blamed the IRS. The penalties are not as bothersome as the time I've had to spend on the phone with the IRS and sending out payments to both the state and the federal government. My returns are fairly easy as I own no property and am single, and have no children/dependents. So I'm left wondering what $350 paid for. Very disappointing. UPDATE: After speaking again with the IRS, they said that David Dukoff left the banking info BLANK. That's why they didn't receive payment and that's why I'm having to pay late fees and spend my time sorting this all out. Incredibly unprofessional.
