I requested true Test Home Inspection for a home my wife and I were looking to purchase. From the…read morebeginning, Steve was very fast and thorough with his replies. Once we arrived at the home, he was even better than expected. His prior firefighter expertise allowed him to give us more insights regarding potential fire hazards and other safety codes that we may otherwise would have missed. From the start he was clear and descriptive with everything he noted. We walked through every spot in the house and showed me as he went what he found and what that meant for me as the buyer. His knowledge from Materials to brands and durability of windows, doors, boilers, etc. was very refreshing as it made it easier knowing what would need more care upon purchasing the home. His report came very detailed as well and in a timely manner. Extremely satisfied with his services and one hundred percent recommend his services.

Steve was the perfect guy to do our home inspection. As first time buyers the entire process is…read moredaunting - a lot of money spent at once on the down payment, worries about future repairs, etc. As I watched Steve complete our inspection I knew we were in good hands. He was professional and friendly, but also extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Safety is my number one priority and I did not want to be moving into a house that could cause any health or safety problems. We received our report faster than expected. The report was extremely detailed and included photos from multiple angles and explanations of his findings with regards to how urgent a potential repair would be. Steve was worth every penny!

REVIEW UPDATE: Upon taking possession of our brand new home and bringing in an electrician and HVAC…read moreservice person for random upgrades, they each brought to our attention major concerns (Concerns that this home inspector completely missed, or just failed to call out because he is out of his depth) about poorly installed electrical wiring (in the basement, around the circuit breaker and air handler) as well as the below-par installation of the AC condenser/air handler -- There is clear visible evidence of water having been, at one time, in the catch tray below a supposedly brand new air handler which is 100% NOT supposed to happen. NONE of these issues were brought to our attention by this home inspector. And had he been either more knowledgeable about standard building practices (as any home inspector should) or communicative about those short-comings, we would have either tried to negotiate the price of this home with the Seller, or just walked away. That is the home inspector's job, and he failed at his job. I followed up with the home inspector about all the issues we recently discovered in the house and he said, "I am not an expert electrician. I am not an expert HVAC service person." That is absolutely ridiculous. What purpose does a home inspector serve if they are completely uninformed about basic and standard and safe building practices?? The electrician and HVAC people saw these basic, glaring discrepancies from a mile away, and they said that anyone with general knowledge should have seen these issues and brought them to our attention. AVOID THIS HOME INSPECTOR AT ALL COST!!!

I would highly recommend.
