I was happy with the times because most classes on Long Island were at 1:30/2PM start time on a weekday which is not convenient for workers or a whole day weekend course. Todd has to be my favorite CPR instructor I have met thus far. The material we learn each and every year is the same but he made it relatable which makes it more memorable which is definitely important if there is a life or death situation. I received my new card via email at the end of class. The location is above a fitness studio and has a large office space on the 2nd floor with a parking lot attached. I definitely will be going back here for my CPR renewal in 2 years and will definitely recommended this to my colleagues.

I was basically told that it was the student's fault and that she should have known she was not ready. Ummm, aren't you the professionals who should be giving feedback on what you're seeing? During classes, you practice again and again on what you struggle on, and the tutors give really thorough and understandable explanations on your mistakes. They make learning easy and fun. Not only do you practice during sessions, you do homework (which is a huge part of the learning experience), and you take mock exams to see your personal improvement. I'm a former student and I needed help with the SAT critical reading section. I had Jacinth and Clara as my tutors. Quite frankly, they are the bomb. They're both super funny and relaxed. They make relevant examples to the material they're trying to explain and make it super easy to remember. The reading skills I learned not only helped me on the SAT, but also helped me greatly in AP English Literature. Jennifer, the director, is so nice. She takes cares of all of the students--she cares about you not only on your learning process, but also as a friend. Sometimes, when I'm in the area, I hop by C2 just to hang out. I got a Groupon for my daughter's friend as a birthday present and one for my daughter as well back…read morein June. The Groupon states it's good for Saturdays only so I attempted to make an appointment for the girls during the summer on a Saturday. I was told the place was only open during the week during the summer to which I asked why do they sell it and advertise it as only good on Saturdays in June, but the person had no idea. Fast forward to last week, I call to schedule the Saturday class and am told they only accept Groupons on Sundays. Whatever. Yesterday, the day before the appointment, I get a call and they want to reschedule. I flat out refuse because I have plans for the day and a two hour difference would have a huge impact. We get there and the girls are painting. However, the instructor did most of it for them literally taking the brushes out of their hands and doing the painting. Then, as we're leaving, she gives me newspaper to protect my car seat and folds the newspaper over the paintings which got stuck to the wet paint and left paper residue on them. I took the girls back to my house and set them up with paint to fix the paintings and make them their own. I don't recommend this place at all. Don't offer an hour class, give the kids something that is too intricate to finish in that time and then do the painting for them.
