The Instructors Are Great, But The Ofice Staff Is Focused On Extracting As Much Cash From Students As Possible. If You Can't Make It To a Scheduled Class, They'll Charge You Full Price Plus a Fine, (Which In My Case Was Almost $300.00) And Will Not Give You Any Considerations For Work Or Personal Emergencies Once A Class Is Scheduled. I was very surprised that I knew exactly what to do during the road test. The instructor here trained me on exactly what I should do while also being friendly and funny. I think I almost got a perfect score since the only mistake I made was getting a bit too close to another car before parallel parking which the person who tested me pointed out. Other than that, I did everything exactly as I was taught by the instructor in this school and I know that because of him, I was able to do really well on my road test. I definitely recommend that people take classes here before their road test because the way you are tested in the road test is completely different from how most people drive. And don't forget to bring your permit; attach it to yourself if you need to or else you won't be able to take classes or the road test! read more

What a great school! The staff is very helpful and nice. The 5 hr course sounded like a drag to go to but I didn't feel it that long due to the charismatic instructor teaching the class. I had previous driving experience from driving with parent, but the lessons i took with them was very helpful, i passed in one go. Practice is key as with anything, and my driving instructor really good at specifically stating what I need help with and how to fix it. Felt pretty nervous before the test, as would anyone, and my instructor was really good at calming my nerves. Great school. read more

Alan is the best driving instructor ever. Not only is he hilarious, but he's patient and very knowledgable. I felt very relaxed and comfortable during the first lesson. I passed the road test a few weeks later with NO points. All I did was use all the tips and tricks Alan provided during the lessons. This is a very late review. I should have done this month as ago but Allan at precision is amazing... I started driving late in life due to me living in manhattan and Brooklyn for most of my young adult life. When Moved beach to the island I knew I had to start driving again. Allen was really professional and patient with me... he didn't just prepare me for the test but he prepared me to drive safely ... told me how to anticipate what the other drivers will do .. prepared me to avoid an accident .. he's a very calm person although he pushed me to do better. he made me forget my anxiety so that it was easier for me to learn and hear him as sometimes when your nervous , well when I'm nervous I don't hear anything lol I just focus on being nervous ..he was almost therapeutic ... Horrible $50 and they can't tell you what your weakness is so you can improve the day before your road test! Traveled out for a better driving school and passed with them no problem. With this school I got 65 points with the other school I got 5 points read more

I decided it was time for me to learn how to drive; so i decided to take classes at Precision Driving School. I got the package deal with ten classes ( and also bought a couple extra). The price was reasonable. It included the road test and use of the car for the road test. My instructor was Alan. When my lessons started we were in the thick of Winter and snow was everywhere. Needless to say, I was terrified! But Alan was a great instructor. He put me at ease and helped me to become comfortable behind the wheel. I have been a licensed driver for a while now and figured it was time for me to let everyone know what a great driving school this is; and to also say Thank You to the people at Precision Driving School for helping me accomplish my goal :). Before I got the package deal for the 10 classes, and road test I took the 5 hour class. Teaching the 5 hour class was my instructor named Alan. He made the class very entertaining and educational. His attitude and ambiance made the class feel fun and worthwhile. After the class I decided to take lessons and I asked for Alan as my instructor because I know he would help me learn how to drive with ease. He helped me a lot and didn't put too much pressure on me when I made mistakes. He helped me learn from my mistakes and I passed my road test on the first try. Admittedly I may have some bias in favor of the school considering a family member works there, but I recently got my Class B license with passenger and school bus endorsements with the school and couldn't recommend it more. My instructor K.K clearly had years of experience driving commercial vehicles and made sure that I could benefit from them. I passed on my first try and felt more confident about it beforehand than I had during my Class D road test. read more
