Where do I even begin? These guys are masters of their craft. They are dedicated to perfection and are absolutely amazing. Brought our Jeep in showing horrible corrosion from previous owners off roading, thinking these wheels were not going to ever look good. Not only is the corrosion gone but they were able to customize the rims adding an incredible two tone machine and black look, almost making these wheels look like different wheels altogether. They will take their time and make sure your wheels are PERFECT. If you're not 100% happy, they're not either. I will always recommend coming to see them for any rim related issues or upgrades. After much research and comparing many rim places in Queens and Long Island I decided on LONG ISLAND RIM. One of the best decisions I've made recently. They completely changed the whole look of my ride and made them new again. They even fixed some warped rims which I didn't know about and now my car even rides smoother as well as looks amazing. I dropped my car off in the morning and they were done by the end of the day. The customer service there is great as well. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Just one caveat is as of August 2022 they did not take credit cards so I had to pay with my debit card through Zelle. Carlos & Frany @ Long Island Rim is Top Notch hands down! If you want your rims powder coated and your calipers painted Long Island Rim is the place to go. Every other shop on the island that I know of will send their rims out to get powder coated Long Island Rim does them in-house which is why you're able to get your car back the same dat. Everyone else's shop is a three day turnaround time at best. I had curb rash on 3 rims and 2 were bent one on the inside and one on the outside on the lip and I got them back like new. read more

I dropped off my rim to get powder coated. The owner said he couldn't get it completed till Saturday. Called to pick it up on Saturday and owner said he forgot and said it wouldn't be done till Monday/Tuesday. I calmly asked if it would be definitely completed by monday as I don't want to be inconvenienced again. Owner was upset and told me to pick it up the rim now and hung up the phone on me. Very unprofessional and not customer friendly. The icing on the cake was when i went to pick up the rim he refused to give me back the rim as i forget my receipt at home. I had to have my family member send me a photo of the receipt so he could release the rim to me. I would not recommend for the sheer lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer service. read more

Great guy, even better work. Referred by a friend and glad I stuck past the missed phone calls. Took car of my rim outside of work hours and even worked with me to pick it up. Local guy running a small shop. No frills just old school reliability in work. Wayyyy cheaper than half these chop shops that wreck your rim with their lack of experience. Had previously used Wheel Fix-It for repair of a set of Mazda 3 rims and was without my vehicle for 3 days. Fast-forward to last month I decided to try LIR and was pleasantly surprised. One cracked and another severely bent rim on a family-members vehicle had me wondering whether I would be spending 2 Grand to replace. LIR repaired both within a day (dropped off in the morning and returned for pickup that night) - no fuss, beautiful semi-gloss black coating, and the looked factory new. WOW !!!. Had a minor problem with a rim leak after getting the vehicle home but LIR staff stood behind their work and reworked the one rim edge that posed an issue. He said, "I told the guy to put "sold" on all the pictures". I started to ask a question and the guy said we don't have any and hung up on me. Fantastic!!! I am not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one. Nowadays I feel a little apprehensive going to a shop I have never been to. I just bought a used car and after replacing the tires I still felt a shimmy while driving. I went back to the tire shop and they told me that one or more of my rims were bent. I found Long Island Rim online and I took my car for them to look at. They took my car in immediately and the owner Carl actually drove me home while they started work on my vehicle. He called me twice within the next hour and a half with updates. They determined that it was nothing more than the wheel balancing being off.
