Two cozy dining areas with ample seating arrangements to choose from. One room has a lovely view of the bay. Perfect way to start the day. We were greeted with big smiles and received lots of attention from our server. The staff here are well trained. They hustle and still connect with customers. Most important in the morning.... Hot coffee, fresh brewed and it kept on coming. They know how to win hearts. The menu offered lots of choices. We were hungry and felt very satisfied with our dishes. The shrimp and grits were so cheesy and flavorful. Lots of toppings and really good sized shrimp. It was nice that it also came with toast or English muffin. My husband had the hearty breakfast with a little of everything. He said it was excellent. We had to try their warm grilled cinnamon bun. Yummy! Almost too much food to eat. Finally pulled the trigger and stopped here and was quite pleased with the quality of my meal and the friendly service I received at this business. My Western omelet I ordered was well made, quite tasty and packed with the ingredients this omellete calls for. The potatoes the omelet comes with is a choice between the normal hash browns and the seasoned Home Potatoes where I chose the latter. These potatoes are really not much to look at which can be deceiving as they were quite tasty in their own right and definately something you should try if you come here for breakfast. Relative to facility it is definately a bit on the rustic side but clean and offers seating along the lake with those amazing views of Lake Huron which are hard to beat. Staff as mentioned is very friendly with great follow up where I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup due to the prompt refills. Nice! Overall a great option for breakfast where I will definately be returning in the near future!

Relative to staff and the facility, this Bar fits the perception of what you think of when thinking of your stereotypical "Up North" bar. There are two sides - the bar side and a side with lots of seating. The bar side has seating as well but minimal. We sat on the side with all the seating at a long high top. The chairs had backs so it was very comfortable. They have lots of choices on the menu - I chose the Lemon Herb Ravioli, which sounded light and amazing. Unfortunately, it is swimming in a lemon-y olive oil which ruins the dish completely. If they just drizzled the lemon oil over the pasta, it would be a chef's kiss. I would recommend asking for that on the side - then you can control how much you want on the dish. I also got their "tots" on the side. These aren't your typical tator tots...they are homemade shredded potatoes scooped and fried. My cousin got the same items and when the tots came, it appeared they overly fried one of the orders so just split them up between our two orders. I ate the good ones and my husband sent back the bad ones to have them replaced. They did so without any question, which was nice. My husband had the Gouda Burger with Truffle Fries. He said it was the best burger he'd ever had. The truffle fries were excellent - served with garlic aioli. Highly recommend! So, while my dish was disappointing due to the amount of oil it was swimming in, the pasta and vegees on top tasted good, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and everyone else liked their meals (burgers and fish & chips) so I'm not going to give them a low rating. I'd like to come back and try something different on the menu.
