My friend next to be had a bloody Mary that was definitely Instagram worthy (see pics). The menu is fairly extensive, but most of us ordered either the fish & chops or the steak & Guinness pie (like a shepherd's pie). At least the service is solid, a surprising lot of American items for the timid, shepherds pie and Guinness stew are somewhat reasonable, albeit $3.50 of ingredients. I can't wait for Town and Gown to get their dinner menu back up. For the present, T&G's Reuben is better, shock. Nine Irish probably doesn't need to ever lower prices but for the value aims and families hoping to fill up the kids be aware! The lobster deviled eggs were super unique and honestly one of my favorite bites. Creamy, slightly tangy, and topped with lobster--it's not something you see everywhere, and they executed it really well. My husband tried the shrimp burrito, which was great for a seafood spot. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and filled generously. It didn't feel like an afterthought on the menu. I don't really seek out a place like Slapfish on my own (no offense at all, just not a seafood girlie!!), but I would assume that it's a rather popular establishment as they recently opened a fifth location in the greater Indy area.
