Azzip Pizza was a nice break on our long trip across the Midwest. It was nice because the pizza was ready quickly as they use a conveyor style pizza oven. The service here was top notch as everyone we interacted with was friendly and you could tell they enjoyed working there. The atmosphere was similar to many other fast causal restaurants these days and provided a nice ambiance. The pizza was a bit greasy but it was really good. We had the zip sticks, the CBR pizza, and a pepperoni pizza. They were all great! Would for sure eat here again if we're in town. read more

The pizza is fine. A pretty bread-heavy crust, but fine. So, why the two star review? The phone number - (812) 814-3068 - is useless. All you get is a recording that says, in essence: We do not want to talk to you. We will make more money by not wasting our time to talk to you. Go on line and click buttons or eat somewhere else. That would be annoying but fine if the online system wasn't so bad. They claim to have an option to "Build Your Own," but it is actually an option to modify (undo) the pre-made selections that they make available. It's largely a matter of taking things off of your pizza. It's a clumsy set-up and I had to do it twice. In the end, the order was wrong. Was that entirely the Robot's fault? No - I missed it when the order was not what I wanted. But that's an error that could have been avoided if their on-line system were not so clumsy or if they had an option for having humans answer the phone. read more

We LOVED this place. We found it because my wife requires gluten free and dairy free which always limits our choices. On occasion we've found pizza joints with these choices so took a gamble and searched while visiting the area. The simple model (base price and unlimited toppings) was great and the kids liked that they each got to customize their choice. Each pizza was plenty of food along with the cheese bread which was a large portion suitable for our family of five. This location is great. Customer service is usually good and the pizza is fire. They even have a table with extra topping to put on like hot honey drizzle. Definitely recommend this place if you love pizza. I will say the sauce portions and pretty small so I usually have to add more sauce on my pizza. read more

Holy smokes! These pizzas are sure something to write home about. Super fresh, local ingredients atop a freshly made dough then put through a fire stove makes these pizzas surely something special. The staff is unbelievable - so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about where the ingredients came from and what would be a tasty combo. They have fun, neat monthly specials. Male sure to check their Facebook or Twitter for those. My fav is the March Crabness (get it? March Madness..ha!) Its crab Rangoon on a pizza. Weird, right? So delicious! Thank me later! The thing about living in a small town is that you frequent new places too many times in a week. Azzip Pizza is that place because I've already been back twice this week. I try to mix it up every time I go so that I can try everything they have to offer. This time I got the Zipsticks and a glass of wine. I'd skip the wine next time and just go next door to Fresh Thyme and buy a whole bottle. You get more bang for your buck. The Zipsticks on the other hand are a solid choice! I'm that person that prefers the crust over the pizza so honestly this was perfect for me. If you haven't tried their homemade hot sauce, you should. I have heard great things about Azzip for years, but never had the chance to stop in until last night. Let's just say it lived up to the hype. I ordered the Triple Double pizza which consists of ranch, pepperoni, garlic butter, mozzarella, italian red, and zip dust. It was delicious. I could taste all the flavors of the ingredients equally and nothing was too overpowering. The pizzas were made and cooked very quickly, so my friends and I weren't waiting around for each other to get their pizzas for too long. The staff working was also very friendly and helpful. My friends and I had been chatting for a while in the dining room and one of the employees offered to clear out plates, which was great. Also, because we were there close to closing time we were offered leftover cookies that would've otherwise probably gone to waste. Food was great. Service was great. Azzip is amazing! It is a build your own personal pizza place. You watch them build it in front of your eyes, like a subway. You tell them at each station what you would like one it and then it gets put into a moving oven. When it come out of the oven you and your pizza will be at the cash register. It's seem less. You can always tell how long you will have to wait, if any, because the line is at the consistent pace of the oven. Once you put your topping on it probably doesn't take it 3-4 minutes to come out the other side. My friends and I always make a point to go in at the beginning of the month. The wait time is reasonable for getting a personal, fresh baked flatbread pizza and the employees were so courteous! Ordering was super simple and service was quick, even with our group of 13. Everything looked and smelled delicious, including my own 8" sausage, meatball, and veggie pizza. I also got a cookie, which was one of the best cookies I've had that was not baked in someone's home. The pizza had good flavors, but I'm not 100 with the premise. You order up front. Pick your size (8 or 11". Then you pick your meat (you get one; extras are a dollar each). You can have unlimited vegetables, sort of like Subway. You can also choose half and half with pizza toppings on half and salad toppings on the other. The salad side gets pesto sauce and your choice of dressing. They also have breadsticks called Zip Sticks. They have a few beers to select from too to complement your meal.
