A Christian camp in a reasonably remote spot off the beaten path, yet not unreasonably far from the Denver area or major mountain towns like Evergreen. Has a fishing pond, shooting range, swimming pool, fire pits, cabins, RV hookups, camp sites, etc. The area is beautiful, set right at the border of the Pike National Forest. Maintenance has clearly been suffering a bit over the years. Many of the buildings are clearly quite old, and while that does add to the "rustic charm" of the place somewhat, it also stands out rather obviously. Several buildings look abandoned, and even those that are among the better maintained need more work. Being that there aren't a lot of places left like this which are able to cater to Christian groups specifically, and since they probably avoid price gouging their fellow Christians, I doubt the place is able to make much money, which is likely the limiting factor on the maintenance issues. read more
