Best healing center on Maui! Jeff and Ian are kind, compassionate, professionals doing acupuncture and chinese medicine. They have community acupuncture as well which is lower cost. The center is clean, beautiful healing environment. They have other services massage, chiropractor as well. I have been going here for 8 years.The receptionists (Faith, Tere and Cheyla) are caring, kind and helpful with the scheduling. Okay . Look. This is my second time coming for service here. And what a disappointment:( 1st visit I had acupuncture- I have been having acupuncture done on a regular basis for over 10 years . I had explained that to Jeff and all I got was a few needles in my ears ??? I was on a table for gosh sakes! The best points on the back and I did mention that I prefer acupuncture on my back for that reason - maybe our during our 30mins talk and waiting for talk during my 1 hour appointment he forgot-???? My second appointment- yes , I did. I'm figured let's give this place another chance. Appointment #2 was for a cupping - , I've been getting cupped for 20+ years - I prefer the glass cups using heat for suction but I can do the plastic cups which is what they use. But first let me back that up by having to wait over 10 mins after I paid and my appointment time to be seen - The other guy (David?) who wasn't even sure what I was there for!?' Okay fine. Now for the cupping service . Never have I ever had cups put on my body without prep with oil!!!! Cause man did those cups hurt when they came off!!!! Okay . Yes. My bad I didn't say anything before he put the cups on :( in my defense I thought he's definitely going to do post cupping care with oil or something to ease the burn .... My bad I won't be back ever! There is a place in Makawao across from Komodas bakery where the acupuncturist does cupping with acupuncture and is gentle! She was booked this week:(. I want to report the unprofessional actions of all the staff. They gossip and talk badly about the patients to each other, in loud voices and using specific patient names. This is not only unprofessional, it breaches patient confidentiality. This place should be sued. Don't use this facility. There are plenty of good acupuncturists in Wailuku to choose from. read more

I just started to routinely go to Longevity for massage therapy. I have Kaiser so I'm able to just pay a small co-pay for my massages. I'm getting older and so I decided not to put off my well-ness. The receptionists are so helpful at answer any questions you're unsure about. My message therapist, Dean is awesome. I've never had massages by a male before, no particular reason, so I was a little hesitant at first. But Dean is very professional, informative, and known for his ability to apply extra pressure and strength to his massages, something I always felt lacking from past massages. If you're looking for a good, strong massage, ask for Dean. It may not be the most 'spa-like/relaxing' environment, but its more about the healing and getting your body right! Thanks guys! read more

I have had acupuncture before. I wanted to go on Mondays at lunch time and that is when they have community acupuncture. I've gone twice already and it's great. So far I have been treated by Ian. He is very easy to work with and knows his stuff. I grabbed a chair, laid back and got the needles. After relaxing for about 45 minutes the session was over and I felt very relaxed. I find that it may not work immediately but I feel it by the next morning. The problems are slowly getting resolved and most important my mood has improved. I was feeling down about my health and at this point starting to feel relief. I recommend this place to all who are working on healing themselves and would rather not do western medications and treatments. I'll be going back next Monday. read more

She even makes sure I always go in rooms with a heat lamp to make sure my toes and feet stay nice and toasty during my treatments! I walked in to Longevity Health Center to find the receptionist talking stink aboit me to the accupuncturist!!!! She turned around and seen I was standing there and put the magazine she was holding up to her mouth.She put her head down and walked away and they all scurried around as if nothing happened.I went into the room with the accupuncturist and after a minute I was so upset I told her I cannot do this... As I was walking out I confronted the receptionist that did this to me I told her if there was anything else she wanted to say to my face ..She apologized and said how unprofessional she was. I am an acupuncturist, and even we need acupuncture! I found Ian after looking for another community clinic, which Longevity has on my day off. Ian's style is very mellow and reassuring, and after going weekly for over a month now I'm finding that his treatments are also very effective. The treatment room is a bit too bright for me, and I find myself getting a little cold when the AC cycles on, but have been able to relax and heal with the group very nicely, which is what makes community style acupuncture so awesome. The price is great at $20-$40 sliding scale. Let the healing commence! I highly recommend Ian, and Longevity's community clinic! read more

Got acupunture from Jeff Tice, never had it before and he definitely made my first experience very comfortable. He explained everything I needed to know about the procedure and what to expect the next day. He was very professional and comforting. I also got a 2 hour hot stone massage with some stretches from Lmt Linda and I have to say it was nothing short of amazing. I nearly fell asleep. She gave me the right amount of pressure and targeted all my problem areas. I loved her! I'm an LMT myself and I'm very picky with who massages me and she got my approval!
