Chris has been great to work with. He was able to quickly provide several competitive estimates and was extremely responsive and answered all my questions within 24 hours of our initial contact. When we decided to make the switch he did most of the work for us dealing with our mortgage company and previous insurance company to make the transition go smoothly. Chris is great! When I first reached out to him we had a wood shake roof. Unfortunately, we were grandfathered in with our current insurance provider and the only other option he was able to find was more expensive than what we were currently paying. So we agreed to leave it be and that I'd reach out for another round of quotes once we had the roof replaced. Chris went the extra mile to follow up a couple times a year to see how our roof was holding out so it felt good that we were still on his radar. I don't write negative reviews lightly, especially for small businesses because of the effect it will have on them. However, after allowing sufficient time to pass since my extremely disappointing experience with Chris, I feel it's important for me to share my story since Chris expressed early on in our relationship that he values social media feedback. I hired Chris as my insurance broker shortly after relocating from CA to CO in 2018. I maintained 4 policies through Travelers with Chris for the approximate year I was with Chris's firm. Two homes, one car and one umbrella policy. All told, I had approximately $8,000 worth of policies with Chris. My policies were renewing in early 2020. I carefully reviewed the information I received from Travelers and was shocked to see a dramatic increase in my car insurance rate that raised my rate by well over $1,000 to almost $3,000/yr. I had no accidents, no tickets and I did not recently obtain a new car. Obviously, I wanted to know why my rates would almost double from the previous year. I sent Chris an email asking him to look into it for me and explain the increase. Chris's ultimate response was not only unhelpful, but flat out rude. After repeatedly saying he would just find me another carrier and me responding that I wanted to know why Travelers had increased my rate, I replied that perhaps I should call Traveler's directly to find out what is going on. His response: "Be my guest..." I was stunned by his dismissive treatment of me and apparent unwillingness to do his job so I called Travelers. After much time digging I found out there were two major reasons why my rate had increased. One, Chris had not notified them that I had obtained a CO drivers license almost a year and a half before (as required by CO law). Two, that an incident a year earlier for which I was found by Travelers as 100% not at fault was showing up on my record as a collision rather than comprehensive. I spent hours straightening out my record to fix both problems that should have been 1) found by Chris, and 2) fixed by Chris as my representative. When I notified Chris about the driver's license issue, he actually had the nerve to blame me for not knowing that out of state driver's licenses would cause an increase in rates and apparently it was my responsibility to provide this information to him (which I remember doing). He said that he would have eventually figured out what was the problem but my policies were due to renew in just a few day. He was not apologetic at all. It was my new insurance broker who discovered the incorrect collision vs. comprehensive issue also on my record that Chris failed to see even though I asked specifically if the incident the year before could somehow be causing the increase. It's very easy to get new customers but it takes work to keep them especially when a customer calls with a problem. Chris couldn't be bothered to help me so I'm happily with a different broker who took the time to make 100% sure my record was accurate and get me the best rates. Bottom line, Chris let me down. read more

I got car insurance through Longevity in August 2021. Similar to another review, Chris was good at replying to emails quickly and seemed to have good service until my (Progressive) premium jumped by 40% from one month to the other with no notice from either Progressive or Longevity. Chris said the reason was that my annual mileage was 22,000 to 24,000, even though I sent Longevity a literal picture of my odometer putting my annual mileage at almost exactly 10,000. I switched to Geico and now pay less than half of the monthly premium, even before the rate hike. Seems like other people like Longevity, but I've soured to it. I also never heard Chris's voice, which is not what I personally want from an insurance agent. read more
