i keep trying this place cause its by my house, and they are local, but i keep getting "meh" meals. and $20 as a lone diner is pricey for "meh". best known as a burger joint, but i remembered they also had fish - and i'd enjoyed it in the past. my last visit, i had a lackluster burger, cold bun, not much sear, more steam on the meat, tots coulda used more time in the fryer or hotter oil. not "bad", but "meh". so i PATIENTLY waited THIRTY - yes 3 - 0 minutes for my order. yes, it was friday, busy - but not bustling. i went up to check when people who came in WAY later were already eating. too 5 or so minutes after that. and after all that wait, i got cold green beans, O-rings made mostly from the extra chunky - extra tough outer rings and rectangular fish blocks. not the freestyle pieces i remembered. the plus was o-rings & fish were hot and not very greasy. the fish was flaky, white and DRY and the batter was tough. i dont know that i've ever had a batter that was hard to tear, cut or chew. did i complain, no. should i have, probably. but i've been here about half a dozen times this year. and have had 1 meal that ranked higher than "meh".so in my mind, this is what they do. people seem to like it, but i will skip going here. i try to be VERY honest in my reviews. but i expect good service & good food for my $. no complaints about service. but food has not been consistent.

The entire experience feels like they are very annoyed to have you in their restaurant. We have been coming to LC for years- off and on. This is the first time they only bothered to even unlock half the doors. The only entry door unlocked in the one clearly marks "EXIT ONLY"- which left us wondering if they were even open. There was no line when we ordered, and the cashier was definitely not happy to be disturbed w something so trivial as taking an order. The food took FOREVER to get and when we got it, the burgers were over done to the point of being awful. The fries didn't arrive until 5 min after the burger. The tots were good. I think we will stay with the Blanco Rd location from now on. This one consistently sucks.

First time visiting Monday, August 4 about 3:00pm. Not what I expected in a 'cafe'. You walk in, order and sit till they call your name and go get your food. The cashier seemed distracted but friendly, gave us some recommendations. Grandson had chicken tenders and fries, they were large fillets and he wasn't able to eat all of it. I got a regular cheese burger and my Mom got a turkey & provolone sandwich. The burger & sandwich came with everything (mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions). We split the sandwiches so we could some of each. They came with a side and we got onion rings and sweet potato fries. Everything was tasty. The onion rings could have been a little crisper, but they were good. The decor was mainly sports memorabilia with a few drink signs and mounted antlers/heads. Sorry forgot to get pics of the food as I was hungry, lol. Would definitely go back to try other items.

I came here with some friends after an event feeling really hungry. We arrived here in time before the lunch rush came in, so we were able to get our order in quickly. You order the food in the front, and you find yourself a seat until they call your name to get your food at the counter. There were a good number of tables that really needed to be cleaned up and had trays/trash left on that remained even after we left the place. I'm not sure they were short staff that day but was unfortunate. The staff mentioned dropping one of our burgers by accident and working to cook us a fresh one quickly when our name was called. I did appreciate them being attentive to my friend to get them new burger and they were very nice. I had ordered a guacamole burger, which was decent. They really did lay the guacamole and toppings on this burger but didn't find it fancy or anything. Fries and tots were decent though and my friends said they liked their burger a lot, which was a veggie burger. It was a decent pit stop for a quick bit to eat. If in the area again, I would consider eating here again but wouldn't go out of my way for it. Decent prices for the meals.

Stopped in due to a craving for a burger & onion rings 'to-go'. My 'shroom & Swiss burger on gluten-free bun was meh'. The HUGE disappointment was the darn crappy onion crust (was supposed to be onion rings-but have a look at my pics and you be the judge). By far the worst onion rings I've ever had. Definitely not worth $14+, just grab a Whataburger and save yourself the frustration. I really would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this Longhorn, I have had more satisfying food at other Longhorn locations. If I lived closer, I would have take this crap back for a refund. Not a happy customer.

To go order of fries. Not crispy at all.

To go order for an Impossible burger with fries and a drink. Order came to $19. Ouch. I know places up charge for impossible meat but dang. I guess since I got cheese too it blew up the order. I had high hopes for this, but it didn't pan out. I was told they are a great place for burgers. That was not my experience. The lettuce was crisp, good looking and tasting veggies. Just no taste to the burger. Even the fries were sad. Not crisp at all. Overall not a good food experience. The service was good. The waitress was super nice. But my food was just food. I heard good things about the onion rings, if I'm in the area again I'll give those a try.

I passed this on the way to my assignment location and began researching this spot. Some google…read morereviews mentioned they are F1 fans and Ferrari people. So I knew I had to check them out. I was able to make my way here on my last day in San Antonio in late March thanks to my flight being delayed and my oh my, I am quite impressed! The older gentleman taking my order at the counter gave me a big smile when I mentioned I heard you have this thing called the serious sandwich here. He told me that they do and then stated "You won't regret ordering it, seriously." Chuckling, I decided on a half order of that along with a side of potato salad and their side of beans. After taking my first bite, I realized the gentleman was right. This is a dope sandwich! Excellent cured meats in the salamar and pair of hams along with the provolone and melted cheddar with the veggies, spices, italian dressing, and mustard. The bread they use holds up well and has a slight crunch to it. If you prefer your bread to have softness to it, you may have to ask if they can substitute a different bread instead of the italian flat bread they use. But I absolutely love this sandwich the way it is! As for the sides, the potato salad has a slight mustard taste and right consistency with a dash of paprika on top; just the way I like it. The beans are charro beans (I think) that are served steaming hot with some pork trimmings mixed in; I may have dipped my sandwich in it a couple times for flavor explosion. What can I say, I'm adventurous! There's some ferrari memorabilia and posters on the right side where some of the high top seating is. As a Ferrari F1 fan, I appreciate them displaying this here along with the track map of the COTA circuit in Austin. The seating area is spread out nicely with plenty of seats/tables and a drink station with some random signs up. All of interest to consumers like us. Definitely recommend coming here for either the serious sandwich or other delicious ones like their meatball sandwich or manhattan. I can't wait to come back and try the other ones but I may just stick with the serious sandwich cause I loved it. SERIOUSLY!

I ordered the BLAT sandwich but instead of bacon, I replaced with cheese. This came with chips & a cookie. So ended up ordering a side of their poblano soup. I should have asked what the spice level on that was as it was a bit too spicy for me. The sandwich was delicious! The chips were yummy & wow that cookie was amazing! Very rich, did not skimp out on the size of it nor the chocolate chips! For drink I had a cappuccino which was okay. The restaurant itself is a little small but has a private room for reservations and the decorations are cute and kitschy. It's definitely a place to host events like birthday parties and girls' afternoon out. The tea was great - I liked that they let us choose two flavors and kept our teacups full. The food was great; I really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich and the brookies. My only complaints are that the A/C was either not on or not cooling the restaurant much, we were sweating indoors. The restrooms are also located outside in a shared building with the other businesses, but theyre like regular restrooms otherwise. I definitely recommend this place if you are wanting to try out high tea for the first time or if you're wanting to take your kids out - the prices are very reasonable and there's fresh baked pastries and breads to take home available as well :)

Saw the burger on the menu and raced over. Parking is a little tight but it was lunchtime on a work day. But as soon as I entered I was greeted and treated as if I had been there 100 times. The guy working the register was very personable and welcoming. Seating on the inside is very tight with about 5 small tables. Even the ones that fit 4 would be a squeeze but that's ok cause we're here for the food. Burger. Delicious. Fries. Delicious. Sweet tea left some to be desired on the sweet side but it was fresh.
