I ordered curbside since I had a procedure done and didn't want to go in and delivery usually ends up wrong some how. I get there call inside and was told oh we don't do curbside you have to come in. So I come in and ask about my food the manager Ben I think is his name said ma'am wait you act like your the first person in here but there's other people in front of you so I try to show him my phone where it said order ready he said you had a big order it's not ready yet. Mind you I'm at about $80. He proceeded to be overly rude to me and my 12 year old daughter now I'm so over it I don't even want the food I want my money back he said we don't have any control over that you have to go through the app. Are you kidding me now I'm fuming so now food ready and I check the bag hash browns are burnt I ask for more I get them now he's mad because I didn't want burnt hash browns once he slides the hash browns on the table he says you can go now have a nice day I seriously think this man is a racist he say we were people of color and his whole attitude changed not only that I'm a well paying customer I also gave a tip that asked for back as well and the lady working there and manager said we don't get any of that it all goes to the company what kind of stuff does Dennys have going on or type of people working for them. I asked the manager his name because he is the one with the attitude and rude service he said I don't have to tell you that this is a private company and my name is non of your business. I asked the waiter and she said something like Ben Six she didn't want him to hear her so that leads me to believe that he is running that place with free range and the staff is afraid of him because he has unchecked racism there. I will never spend another red cent at any Denny's as long as he is employed there. I'm not sure about his name but he is a small white man with shoulder length hair and messed up teeth. Poor service. If they were busy, I could understand. They have a phone automated system which does not give you option they tell you it has. No human contact. During busy time I can see it, but there was maybe dozen people in the place. The automated system requires any purchase over 25 dollars requires prepayment. I get there and they tell me I should press option 2 (which it never says that). They ask the person behind the grill to come and speak with me (the cook) who happens to be the manager. I tell him I do not plan to never come back here. At that time the conversation turns south. read more

My father had a procedure at BAMC that required him to go 14 hours without food and when he got out of his procedure this is the place he wanted to come for breakfast even though it was lunchtime. So took my father here, but it would not have been my choice to come. All of the employees here are super sweet and friendly. Immediately upon entry, we were greeted and sat at a table. Our food was out in no time. And everything was great until you have to pay. I did not realize you had to go to the register. Once they give you the bill, they don't come out and even tell you to pay the cash register. I saw someone else go up to pay so I followed. Food: dad got the standard breakfast. The portion was very generous with scrambled eggs, but they did not look like real eggs, but I did not eat it. The toast looked good, bacon, sausage, and hash browns. The hash browns looked frozen, but dad was super happy with his food. I got the spicy burger with waffle fries. The waffle fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, no salt which I like, but they we're not super temperature hot. My burger was also not hot, lukewarm which not too happy about. The lettuce and tomato was fresh. The bun was cold and inedible. I threw it aside. The meat was bland because it wasn't seasoned which I don't mind. The size of the patty was generous, but it was not spicy at all and I would just call it is a burger. I got water and I took two sips and could not finish it, it was horrible. The place needs a water filter. Restaurant cleanliness: below average to average. The floors are filthy! The grout is black and there are food crumbs everywhere. But the tables and chairs where we sat were clean. The aroma of the entire place is ammonia. It is a bit overwhelming. So they do clean. I had eggs over easy, hash browns, one bacon strip, one sausage link, and a crepe. The eggs and hash browns were okay, the bacon was fine, and the crepe was okay, but the sausage link was weird. There are not many healthy/ lower calorie options here if you are looking. However, they have calories listed on the menu which can help you make the best decision. This is such a cute little diner! Love the retro look and Adrianna (our waitress) was amazing. She was very patient and answered all our questions. I even over heard her ensure all of her customer's orders were correct before serving them. We didn't take any pictures of the food this time because we were so hungry that we just dove in. The little hiccup was the coffee. It was lukewarm and not hot how we like it. I asked Adrianna if it was possible to get some fresh hot coffee and she immediately put a new pot to brew for us! Don't waste your time or money. This place was my go to for breakfast style menu items for a while; but my last two visits have been complete disappointments. Anything that I could say nice about this place would only be in the past tense. Service is outrageously slow (20+ minutes for an Arnold Palmer) 40+ minutes for my food. And when it came out it wasn't even hot. I was afraid to ask for anything lime hot sauce because it may have who knows how long to get that; and my food would've gotten colder. They literally just sprayed a product labeled DANGER which smelled highly like ammonia around my table. Immediately I started looking around to see what was happened when someone else sprayed another product - this one poured into a reused spic and span bottle. I'm outside. My throat burns. My nose hurts. My eyes are still watering. The manager says they don't need to keep products in properly labeled bottles because it's only water. Me and my husband have been coming here for breakfast regularly for 7 years now. I used to love it because I'm a vegan but my husband is not and so they had a ton of vegan options for me to eat! My favorite was the Fit Fare Veggie Skillet as it was potatoes and veggies and I'd just ask them to leave out the eggs. Boom! Vegan skillet! I was saddened to learn yesterday when we visited that they no longer offer this. A scan of their new menu shows that they now have very few vegan options which is a total bummer. They do have the Beyond Meat burger so I "built my own" with onions, mushrooms and avocado. Pretty sad this is now the only thing on their menu I can eat. I normally don't dine at Denny's but I came in today because I got an email advertising a promo for a FREE Beyond Burger with the purchase of a beverage. I've been wanting to try this so today was a perfect day. Call me weird but I ordered the Beyond Burger with Bacon Cheddar Tots. My food came faster than I had expected. This burger was well seasoned, juicy and very tasty. Kudos to the cook!! If I wasn't told I may not have known it was plant based and there was no meat. I will definitely order this again. The Bacon Cheddar Tots were also delish - There was a good bacon to cheese ratio that I can taste in every bite. These tots were crispy and went well with Ranch. I would also like to rate the service received from Javier. He was a 10. Javier was friendly and attentive. He made sure my drink was never empty. I've been going to this Denny's for years and let me tell you it is hands down the best. The service is wonderful! They treat you very warmly and respectfully. The wait staff is an experienced group so they are their filling your drink up before you even know it's empty. They are quick to request and very patient. The staff does a great job keeping the restaurant clean as well as the silverware and dishes. We religiously go for breakfast and the cook is always on. The food is consistently good. I usually order the build your own because as a vegetarian it's easier for me to not worry about meat on my plate. We've been coming here over 20 yrs . The staff is always friendly , attentive, they never let our coffee run out or our water glasses. Today we had Willie as a waiter , he was really on top of things & gave us all of his attention & care . He treated all his tables the same because I watched him work . okay so today is my birthday and i decided to eat out with da fam for breakfast. i got the all American slam because i love america (yay) it was pretty scrum i don't think i have to describe the meal all the way because they have a online menu....anywho. i came before it got crowded. the waiter was nice, i asked her if i could have over medium eggs instead of scrambled and she didn't answer and just wrote it down on her notebook...(yes i felt embarrassed) the sweet tea was definitely sweet maybe a little too sweet. oh my dad asked the waiter for water and she came back and said she forgot and got the water. (idk) after i ate my meal i had to urgently go to the bathroom which is where im writing this review currently. the bathroom looks clean. they play music as well so you don't feel lonely but the stalls were a little slim. now i don't know if the food made me go to the bathroom because i didn't eat anything before coming. anyways that might just be me but yeah was good. the seat had a tear but oh well. oh and the syrup bottle was a pain to understand how it worked or maybe i'm slow idk. read more

Was a busy Sunday, but I was greeted with a friendly smile from the host and the entire staff was great! I was seated quickly, the establishment seemed well maintained and clean, the coffee was perfectly hot and delicious, my Ultimate Omelet was so good I ate every last bite. Even with the large volume of patrons, the staff had this smooth flow about them. They communicated well with each other to get tables and orders ready quickly and efficiently.
