My friend was really disappointed in the flavor of his dark chocolate mocha. He threw it away without drinking more than a few sips. I appreciated the cleanliness of the restaurant, as well as proximity to the river walk. Service was fine - the coffee was started promptly, the coffee matched what we ordered, and the servers were distant but respectful. There were no food options here. While this location looks nice, I don't plan on coming back here for my coffee/breakfast. read more

The coffee has a robust flavor. The establishment is small. So you have to order and go. They have their own blend of ground coffee. I bought the sunrise coffee. I love the fact that it has turmeric and cinnamon my two favorite ingredients. The employees are super nice and friendly. They will accommodate to customize your choice of specialty coffee. Veteran owned and operated? Heck yeah! What a darling stopping point for some caffeine. A small batch roaster who actually took the time to show us their systems and how it's all done. Stopped here in April last year (sorry, yes I'm terribly behind in my reviews) with two other coworkers and a dog. A darling back yard/patio area for the doggos, chairs and tables and cute outdoor decor. Coffee was yummo and they have some tasty snacks as well. One of the coolest behind-the-scenes vertically integrated coffee biz tours I've had. Besides enjoying some delicious coffee for months now at this location, it's a cool little tour also. Got to try the cinna-blend and the new high caffeine Venom coffee. Both are really good. Cinna-blend is my favorite of all their blends now! The best part of all? They are located 1 mile from my house! Scott and Laurie Deckers are the kindest couple-owners you could meet. Crystal the lead roaster is a true coffee bean/roasting genius if you ask me. This shop sells fantastic coffee and is owned by a really nice couple. I came here on a weekday morning when half of the city was closed because of a water issue. Luckily Longhorn was in the unaffected part of city and was using bottled water to make drinks. The shop itself is on the smaller side but has an outdoor patio for when it is warm. The inside of the shop is decorated with cowhides on the floor and tables, and lots of cute Texas styles touches. I ordered a vanilla latte and thought it was perfect. They also let us sample some of their drip coffees to help us decide what bags of coffee we wanted to purchase from their retail section. I went with the Texas heat which was a medium roast with cayenne, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Trust me it is delicious! While we were browsing/hanging out the owners also let us check out their roaster in the back and see their k cups being packaged up. This was really neat! They said they ship their coffee and them seem to be pretty popular. If in San Angelo please stop and check them out. You won't be disappointed. read more

I am giving this place a 4 star even though I'm not sure how good the coffee is! The space is awesome and fairly close to Fort Concho and The Bordello Museum (both of these are worth the visit!). The staff is genuinely interested in getting your coffee right. I did order a Breve Latte and no one knew what that was. They did a decent try in making it but, when it cooled down enough to drink I realized it wasn't close. This place will keep getting better and better, I am certain. read more

We stopped by because I was looking for a good cup of coffee while traveling to TX from IL. WOW! What an awesome find!!! Not only is the coffee incredible, it's low acidic and they don't use nasty chemicals like the chain places. You can definitely taste the difference!! Not only was the coffee incredible, the owners and staff were exceptional people. We chatted for some time and even got a lesson on roasting coffee. Can't rave enough! We enjoy the LongHorn roasts and we often buy it and make it at home. Decided to stop in and that unfortunately was a mistake. I got a Desert Sunrise and my wife got another specialty drink. Both of ours were bitter. I think the lady making mine forgot to put anything in it and I was just handed bitter iced coffee. Not sure we'd make the trip out again with all the options we have in San Angelo. read more

This coffee shop/roaster is amazing, best in San Angelo without a doubt! To be honest it's actually the best in Texas period! I'm from Oregon and we take 2 things very serious up there in the Pacific Northwest, coffee and craft beer. If you're considering going, DO IT! Trust me. The only bad thing is that after doing so, you're going to hate Starbucks and all the other coffee you normally have lol. Their coffee is amazingly smooth and acid free, no cream or sugar needed. We first picked up the three pack from Pinkies over two years ago. Having found a small number of brands we prefer, i'll admit that the choice to buy was initially on packaging alone. I saw the snakebite and grabbed it without question. The dark, medium and light roasts are all great, and easy to drink. Small batch roasts, locally owned company, and a solid cup of coffee makes a win for everybody. Everytime I've visited the storefront, they're so friendly and welcoming.
