We tried the taro coconut latte and a taro slushie, both ordered with less sugar. Unfortunately, the execution was disappointing. The boba was soggy and noticeably overcooked, which really took away from the texture. The taro coconut latte was decent, but the taro slushie was far too sweet despite requesting less sugar, so sweet that we couldn't finish it. Being one of the few boba spots in town, this place definitely fills a niche when you're craving boba. However, compared with the many excellent options in San Antonio, the quality and balance of flavors just aren't on the same level. It will satisfy the craving if you don't have many alternatives nearby, but for truly good boba, I'd look elsewhere, if you can find any around here. read more

Not many places for Boba in the San Angelo area so we were glad to find Blue Tiger with a wide variety of Milk Tea, Fruit Tea, Coffee, Latte/Macchiato, Ice blends, toppings, and a few food choices. There's plenty of parking outside and 7 tables inside. Our order came out within 5 min. Coming from California where these Boba shops are everywhere, I can say Blue Tiger isn't bad. The boba was soft but not warm and was medium firm inside so it's not fresh boba but good enough for the area. The tea to boba ratio and other ingredients was also satisfactory overall, some drinks do taste better than others. There were options to reduce the ice and sugar levels so we appreciated that. Tabletop games are available but seems worn down. Pricing is good for Boba but might seem expensive for the area. Tables, chairs, and floors could be cleaner. One of the workers had a phone on and was constantly receiving a text so the dings were annoying. Don't forget to ask for a Loyalty Punch Card. My stars are based on the area not compared to more denser ethnically mixed cities. read more

We walked in and were greeted right away. We were asked if it was our first time, and it was since I am temporarily working in San Angelo. The menu was explained to us and there are so many options! We have lived in Houston for about 9 years, so I was worried that my standards were going to be too high for drinks. My husband and I both got the tiger taro slush. Tasty! This experience as a boba shop is great. You can choose to use the kiosk to order to make your boba exactly the way you want it. If you don't like your tea very sweet, there is an option on how sweet or unsweetened you want your drink. Same with how much ice you prefer and which toppings you want! In one day, I went back 3 times to try different teas. Wifi is available along with different games to play with a friend or date. The inside is decorated beautifully! Cute little place with good bubble tea. We got the brown sugar creme brûlée bubble tea.. it was perfectly sweet at 100% ( I usually get 70% sweet at most bubble tea places in Atlanta). OK, so I returned to Blue Tiger recently and ordered a Milk Tea with the tapioca boba balls. I also ordered the fried dumplings. It was delicious! My report from my previous visit was a pick up of boba milk tea and bringing it home to drink with my family. This time I drank it immediately and the tapioca balls were very soft and fresh. The dumplings are the best dumplings I've had in San Angelo and I believe may be the best San Angelo has to offer! I'm glad I came back for a second try. Definitely coming back again if I'm the in the area! I'd love to see the food menu expand with onion/chives fried pancake and some jun!!!! read more

As a person who has had boba tea in various places across the country I would say this place is very good and San Angelo is very fortunate to have it. The service is great, the owner is very friendly and helpful. I saw him talk to every customer who came in and didn't necessarily know what they wanted or what they were ordering. He went above and beyond to help customers understand the menu and order what they might like. Besides the boba, their food items look good as well. I got the salmon poke bowl and even though there weren't many options for customization, it was still delicious and satisfied my poke bowl craving. I hope this place thrives in San Angelo. read more

This place was amazing!!!!! Me and my gf went here for my birthday and the food and boba was superb. They even made us feel welcome and accommodated by telling us their story and helping us out with the menu. Definitely going back here soon.
