I originally thought this would be a 5 star review for a Valentine's dinner for two. It turned into a complete cluster****. I called the store to see if there was an extra wait for online orders due to it being Valentine's Day. I was told it was a 2 hour wait. No worries. I made my order online and expected to pick it up at 8. On the way to the restaurant around 7:30 I get a call asking if I intended on picking up the food that had been ready since 6:30. I told the very nice person I spoke with what had previously transpired and nothing seemed wrong. She said the kitchen would remake the food, per the managers, and nothing should change. This was amazing and beyond what is expected. I arrived at the to go spot, let them know I was there and had food brought to me about 15 minutes later. I assumed this was because my food would be fresh. That was a mistake on my part because it was the order they made at 6:30. They honestly gave me food that had been sitting out for about 2 hours at this point. The steaks were cold, mushrooms were inedible and the potatoes were too. I have never had an experience like this at Longhorn, and I hate that it happened because they are typically a decent restaurant. They did more than ruin a dinner. They ruined an entire Valentine's date. TLDR: Food was cold, late, and customers were lied to. read more

Grace, our waitress, made our dining experience epic! She was friendly and when we joked with her she would give it right back! She made sure our drinks were filled and even brought out some to go. She checked on us quickly but not so much it was interrupted our conversation. Definitely ask for her! The restaurant itself was very clean with a quiet casual atmosphere. We were seated quickly considering it's the holidays. Now the food. My Ribeye was cooked perfectly. I asked for medium well and that's what I got, juicy and tender. I also got the Steakhouse Mac n Cheese. The cheese sauce was so creamy and flavorful, the four cheeses blended well together. Definitely recommend! read more

About as good as it gets in the Fort for mid-priced + good meals. This was Sunday after church crowd and fairly busy without a wait. We were craving their exceptional baby back ribs. That was the one thing they did not have. This is the 3rd Longhorn restaurant here, in FL, and LA where that was the story. Just wondering why? We don't see groups ordering them. They take a long time to cook, but never have enough and warm over well. Great salad, baked potatoes, bread appetizer.,We ate their ground sirloin (burger) steaks with mushroom gravy instead. Disappointed with our dinner. Went there the day after Valentine's Day, and the floors were trashed. When we were seated in a booth, the floor was soaked with liquid and my shoes were sliding left and right. The hostess got a couple paper towels to clean it, but didn't get the majority of it. After bringing it to their attention again, the waiter did a thorough job of cleaning and drying the floor, which was much appreciated. Two of the steak dinners were not cooked right; they were extremely undercooked. When the steak meals were delivered, no-one asked to cut into them to check them for accuracy. One steak had to be sent back to the kitchen two times; the other one just once. We were not able to eat our meals together because of the cooking delays. This was a really bad experience for us, even though the waiter tried his best to fix everything. We paid a lot of money to eat here and had hoped for a good dining experience. Service was great from time we entered to the end of our meal. We had a party of 6 and the service did great with his service. Spicy chicken bites- very flavorful and great quantity. The cook on the chicken was a little too dry and hard but the flavor was still inside/marinated in the chicken. Mac and cheese- Hot, tasty and didn't miss a mark when it came to flavor. There wasn't a lot of bacon in there but it still tasted good. Ribeye- cooked to medium as requested and soft and tasty. Was not salty but very very well seasoned. Location was very full at this visit but it wasn't too noisy nor slow on the meals. Which shocked everyone on the quickness on how our meals came out. read more

The food is absolutely amazing. However, we need to talk about the complementary bread" that comes out before the food. I'm not one to judge on anything free but this bread could hold my door open at the house. The outside of the bread is so hard, you could break a tooth on it. I feel like I'm back in the old days on the Organ Trail and the rations are sparse. We also visited the restaurant at about 4pm with the other folks that hit the hay around 7pm. Celebrating a graduation and decided to eat with family and friends. The food was a solid 3/5. We had the shrimp and wing appetizers. It was pretty tasty! Our main dishes consisted of the steak and hamburgers. The hamburgers alone were a 0/5 stars. Very ,very ,salty along with the side fries. Everyone who had burgers could not finish their meal. We have eaten here many, many times. I normally get grilled chicken and my wife gets steak. Last night we shared a steak and fries. My wife also had some of the Mac and cheese.. as well as the cheesecake. She woke up violently ill around 3 am and could not stop throwing up. She had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance this morning, where her heart rate kept dropping and her blood pressure stayed very low from her being so dehydrated and ill. After an entire day of fluids and pain medicine, she's able to go back home and rest. I did not get sick at all. So, the Mac and cheese or cheesecake must have been the culprit... wanted to share. Ordered both an appetizer and salads we didn't even get because the waitress was too busy blatantly flirting with the table full of military guys behind us. My steak was grossly undercooked, an achievement since I ordered it medium rare. Even the bar drinks took more than 10 minutes to make it to the table. We were seated right away but it took quite a while for our waitress to come by and get our drink order. it seemed to take a long time for her to get back with the drinks but we're still OK. when she brought the drinks she dropped the bread on the floor. She left it there for a few minutes while she went to talk to another employee. When she got back she picked up the bread and some of the butter off the floor and took our order. When she came back over 10 minutes later we asked her for bread and a glass of ice. 15 minutes later we hadn't seen her and no other employee checked on us. Well came here tonight again, our favorite steakhouse in Ft Smith. Tonight was the worst ever. The manager discounted our meal. But being honest. If this was not our favorite place to eat, I'd not come back!!! 3 people after discount, it was still 95$. All three steaks had to be sent back. Wow I was so disappointed tonight. Listen, it's a steakhouse and they don't give away food for free. However, the food that you do pay for is top-notch. Well, top-notch for a chain steakhouse. I'm sure a professionally trained Chef can make that steak get up and sing but this place does it justice so be prepared to pay for that justice.
