Was looking forward to dine with friends here but was disappointed. First, the service was slow. It took a while for our food or drinks to be served. Then our chicken fried steak was overcooked. It tasted bitter because it was burnt. When we showed it to the server, she agreed that the chicken fried steak was overcooked. Well, why serve it in the first place? They did replace it after we pointed it out to her. The replacement tasted so much better than the first one. The dining room was cute with cowboy hat at each booth.

We have eaten here a few times now and everything is delicious and cooked perfectly. The staff does get overwhelmed at times and you kind of feel ignored but if you are not in a hurry and have time to have a drink and chat then it shouldn't be a problem lol patience. Drinks are great and atmosphere is relaxing and sometimes they have live music. Definitely pop in here if you'd like a nice dinner out.

I was working late Monday evening so decided to place an order, to go, for dinner. The waitress who…read moretook my order over the phone and took my payment was very kind, with a good attitude, and answered the phone in a timely manner. There were a few families enjoying dinner in the restaurant. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I ordered the fried chicken dinner with grilled mushrooms and a loaded baked potato. The chicken was a square piece of white meat chicken with no bone. It seemed more like chicken fried chicken with no gravy. I got maybe 1/4 cup of grilled mushrooms if that as seen in the photo. The photo shows my untouched meal. The loaded baked potato, which I paid an extra $2.50 for, had a little shredded cheese and bacon, nothing else. No butter, no sour cream, nothing, just a dry potato with cheese and bacon. They placed 4 packets of ketchup in the bag as well. The food was salted heavily for my taste, the grilled mushrooms more-so than the other food items. I ordered an unsweet tea with this meal and paid $21 and some change. I felt over charged and my meal didn't fit what I expected to received. I would like to add that I have had their breakfast, salads, sandwiches and burgers and they were ALL very good, no complaints, which is why I rated 3 stars. This is the second time I have attempted dinner and have been disappointed. In my opinion, this is more of a breakfast/lunch restaurant.

I know you're supposed to eat catfish at a catfish house, but neither of us wanted fried catfish :). I'm here to tell you the alternative options are very tasty! Here's the setup- you are seated and they automatically bring you a bowl of coleslaw, baked beans, hush puppies, and a plate that has pickles and onions on it. This is for you to share, and they will keep refilling it as long as you empty it lol You then order what you want for your main off the list on the wall. I really can't eat fried food so I went with the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. I also had a side of steamed veggies which they serve with butter and some seasonings on the side so you can do what you want to do with it. Hubby was craving a steak and saw that they had a black Angus 10 ounce sirloin and so that is what he went with and he said it was absolutely fantastic. They have you cut into it to make sure it's perfect before they leave it with you. He also had an absolutely huge baked potato! I feel bad because we really couldn't eat all of this food, it's a lot! And for $57 this is a pretty darn good deal They do not serve alcohol, but you can get iced tea or sodas They have a person playing guitar and singing music, he was actually quite good! It's Saturday night and the place was busy but service was very friendly and efficient. I know this is well off the beaten path, but if you're in the area and you want a filling dinner, go for it. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and on Sunday it Looks like they have limited hours from 11:30 to 2:30p. There is a cash discount available but they do take Visa.

They are located near Spiro, Ok - sort of between Spirit and Sallisaw, Ok. I cannot say we have complaints, as the food was good and service was good, they had a great "set up" that included pickles, Josh puppies and Cole Slaw. We got baked potatoes and fried catfish, fried clams and fried scallops. We really enjoyed it.
