So, I ordered lunch from LongHorn Steakhouse and ordered the 7oz LongHorn Salmon. As you can clearly see in the photo, I was served raw fish. I ended up having to call the restaurant, and while they agreed to replace the food, there seemed to be very little concern about the inconvenience or the fact that someone could have gotten seriously sick due to careless cooking. So very sorry that I have no pics, but I must give a shout out to the staff at this location. I have gone there twice in the last month for takeout, and both encounters were exceptional! The customer service was on point, the food was prepared perfectly, and delivered in a manner that was appealing! We ordered two chopped steak dinners with all the fixings and it is reasonably priced and cooked to perfection and it tasted wonderful as well. We will definitely put this in the regular rotation and next time I'll be sure to add pics. Both times I went I encountered Kayla, and let me just tell you about Kayla, she has a smile that is big as the state of Georgia and a personality that is so inviting and engaging. After placing our order we waited an additional 10 min to get our water. Order was wrong. Steaks were served at room temperature and were overcooked. We ordered an appetizer (stuffed mushrooms) which were delivered nice and hot and waited for the entry which consisted of 1/2 slab of ribs for my husband and a 6oz medium Renegade for myself. Then we got our meal and the mashed potatoes had a long hair in them. I showed the server and he said he would bring me another plate. Everything seemed fine as we walked in. We were seated and we order 2 steak salads. Both were supposed to be medium rare but mine was medium well and my husband's steak was raw. We had to wait roughly about 15 minutes for our table to be ready. Nichole, the server was extremely attentive and courteous. My mom had to ask for another fork because the one she had there was a piece of rice stuck in it. I had to send back my small plate because it didn't look clean. For drinks, I had the jack and coke. Whoever the bartender was, it was very strong so no complaints with me. We decided to order an appetizer, we got the stuffed mushrooms. Very tasty, just not enough mushrooms. They spaced it out on the platter and only gave us about 5. My main entree was fantastic! I got the classic New York Strip with a baked potato. It was so good, the meat was tender, juicy and packed with flavor. My mom got the steak and bacon burger. To her, it was just average. The bacon was cold, which meant it was probably cooked earlier in the day. The fries were good. They ended up over charging me for the Jack and Coke, which was a slight miscommunication. Some of the servers are racist. Against our better judgement, my husband and I decided to give this Longhorn another shot after a not so pleasant experience. Our first bad experience was after being seated, being ignored and overlooked by a white male server. After about 10 minutes the white server, hit us with a, "nobody's been over here yet" after I went to the manager to request a different server. We decided to leave. I wrote a review and vowed to never spend another dime in that establishment. Fast forward to yesterday Feb 15, 2025. My husband and I decided to stay on our side of town and had a taste for steak, so we went to longhorn. I put our name on the waiting list and by the time we arrived, we waited not even 5 minutes and were seated in a long booth that could accommodate a large party if you put tables together but others could sit next to you without being so close. We sat and waited on a greeting for about 10 to 15 minutes. A table next to us along the same booth was seated with a white male and female. They were greeted immediately by a white female server. I politely tapped her and said excuse me, I was dismissed by a give me a second as she proceeded to take the table who was sat after us order. She barely turned to us and said "nobody's been over here yet", let me go check". I decided to go to the white manager and told her what had occurred. The manager asked was the server a white girl, I said yes and the manager ensured me that she was our server. The manager offered another server, but we were done and decided to leave. Brought my family here to celebrate a teen birthday. I ordered ribeye steak, my wife a T bone and stuffed mushrooms appetizer. The salad and steak came out at the same time and then we received our appetizer a couple minutes later. Appetizers sat in the window under heat lamp, just looked terrible. My ribeye was over cooked and was cooked on a flat top instead of on the grill. Managed comped my steak but not appetizer that we did NOT eat. We won't be back just an overall bad experience. I've had bad meals at this location. Granted, I live nearby and I've had lots of meals here, so it's a safe gamble to say that IF they've ever served some bad meals that I would get one of them. When I say bad... I mean like "bad". Several years ago we came to this exact location for my birthday dinner and I was served a bad piece of meat. It was rancid. Checking out and confirming what's in the bag in the dark? How long would it sit before they decided to bring it out to me? Cold burgers suck. Steaks that are not enjoyed fresh off of the flames suck. Tepid salads suck. Covid precautions/service sucks. Man... this is going to suck. Order came to my truck 10 minutes after the time that I selected to receive it. Great. Does that mean that it sat there for 10 minutes? The young lady who brought it out inquired.. "Steve?.." Yes. "Check your order, okay?" Bull. Shit. "It's YOUR job to check my order.." I thought to myself. Didn't say it though. With the political tripe and the social climate lately there's been enough shitty things said. I made a half-ass glance at what was in the bag, smiled, told her thanks, and she started to walk off... Would have preferred the lime placement for the water to be served on the side and not in the glass, but i guess it was up to me to order it like that. The service was not all that. Tonight, though, we switched it up, giving Longhorn a try and got the best of both worlds--a long wait, terrible service, *and* awful cuisine. In fact, I think I may vomit soon, so here's a quick overview of our experience: our inattentive, overworked waiter forgot several parts of our entrees, disappeared for 20+ minutes at a time, our food was severely undercooked-- (see the photos!) a steak ordered medium-well and a burger, thorougly cooked, because.. well.. ground beef and E. This has to be the worst experience ever. My family arrived around 6pm. There were 4 adults in the party. There was about a 30 minute wait. Once seated we ordered appetizers. It took an hour to receive those apps. We ordered shrimp and chicken bites, I don't recall the official name of the items, it came with a orphanage sauce on the side. Once the apps came out, it was an additional 30 minutes for the entrees. My moms lobster tail was cold to the touch. My food was plated very sloppily and my side to my entree came out at least 15 minutes after my entree which was a different temperature than my entree due to the time gap. Our waiter, Dee, was doing his best to try to accommodate us but, there were too many flaws in the evening. Obviously, some that were beyond his control being that he is not a cook and can only bring the food that is prepared in the kitchen.
