    Ribeye and Brussels sprouts
    Jennifer L.

Our waitress was amazing, probably the best I've had all year at any restaurant I've gone to. She was friendly, attentive, and anticipated needs so we never had to ask her for anything. The menu is a bit pricey, but everything I tried was worth it. I ordered the Texas Tonion and the ribeye with Brussels sprouts and a loaded baked potato. You already get bread so this is a good amount of food. The bread is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. I'd like it if they had honey butter, but the pain butter they have is fine. The ribeye steak was huge. The weight on the menu is the precooked weight and this thing still came out pretty big. It was tender and juicy and very flavorful. I didn't need to add any sauce or anything to it. The Tonion was also very good. The onion chunks weren't cut too big so they fried up very well. The Brussels sprouts are goofed in what tastes like a maple bacon glaze and they don't taste like vegetables at all.

The food and service was excellent. And the price for a Steakhouse was very reasonable. We enjoyed our meal very much.

The service was amazing, but we forgot the name of the server. She was helpful, gave recommendations and assisted in decisions between items. We ordered an appetizer of shrimp and it was AMAZING! Great portion size and great taste. We had the Mac and Cheese and the Philly Cheesesteak Wrap. Both items were delicious and more than enough food to fill us up and have leftovers. The best part of the restaurant is the draft wall. You can choose from multiple types of beer, mixed drinks, or straight liquor for mixing yourself. It added fun to the experience pouring your own beverages. The bar is very spacious and allows for multiple seating scenarios from high tops to regular chairs, to couches. You can watch teams play sports below or play pool and darts. I am very glad we gave them a second chance, it was worth the trip back. Thank you for a great evening.

The steak was okay, couldn't see much, even when I opened the blinds a bit to get a better look. They did have a salad bar to hold you over while your order is being made, but smelled a little funky, so I only tried a bit. They did have ketchup and A1 sauce for the steak, but disappeared after I used it once. The slice of cake was very flavorful and had a lot going on, so I saved it for a midnight snack. Felt it was a bit expensive for something I couldn't see, but if I didn't want to get into my rental, may swing by again. If anything, I'd go for the bar and try their drinks!

The restaurant was very dark possibly too hide the dirty carpets in the dining room. The ladies room toilet wouldn't flush and the wall was dirty by the towel dispenser. The men's room the urinal was filthy. The restaurant and the restrooms had an identity crisis with the decor and why the gambling machines right by the bar? The prices are for fine dining but the run down restaurant is not fine dining experience. The outside was updated in the last 10-12yrs but the inside is stuck in the 80's. My husband said the mints at the door were great but not for $73 he and I spent before tip!

Such an amazing experience…read more Starting off with the restaurant itself, such a beautifully curated spot that is unlike anything rockford has to offer. Every detail a work of art. We really enjoy the bar area and its ambiance but hope to also experience the dining room as well. We started off with the Dip of the day which was a Miso Ranch dip served with fresh made tortilla chips. This was phenomenal and my only complaint is there wasn't more! We also both ordered a drink off of their happy hour menu. I ordered the old Fashioned and my wife ordered their margarita. Both were excellent. I also ordered the VIEUX CARRÉ based on our Server's recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed that. Such knowledgeable staff makes a big difference. For our main course, I got their Mushroom Pot Pie and my wife ordered the Ora King Salmon. Both dishes blew us away. Neither of us expected to be so full after our meals, their serving sizes were very generous! I wanted to highlight the mushroom pot pie, as a vegetarian, Fine dining usually does not cater to vegetarians. So having options at a place this nice was such a welcomed surprise. The greens included with the Pot Pie really stole the show, The most perfectly cooked and seasoned greens I have ever had. Chef Nick Risseeuw came over and checked on how we were doing and after hearing me rave about his pot pie offered two of his desserts on the house. We got a pistachio orange dessert and a Malt ball ice cream that was his interpretation of whopper candy as an ice cream. Both were DIVINE! Thank you again Nick for your generosity, it was a perfect way to end a perfect meal. I also wanted to highlight the staff as they played an essential role in our unbelievable experience. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and prompt. We will definitely return soon and cannot wait to see what is in store for their upcoming menu

They actually sounded terrible, but I didn't order them. I had one bite and admittedly liked them more than I had thought I would. - Duck Nachos: Good. These are served as very large chips with toppings - so more like eating a street taco. They were good. - Ravioli Daily Feature: Good - Mushroom Yakitori: Ok. Use of the word yakitori seemed unnecessary. Not bad, but least important dish of the night. - Chicken Crepe: Good - NY Strip: Very good. Nice sauce. Service was good and attentive.
