I limped into town driving on the rim and visited Kaladar Auto Parts for help. They loaned me a padlock to lock-up the equipment while I went back to the rental place to get a new tire and wheel. When I returned the wheel didn't fit- Kaladar Auto suggested the bearings were the wrong size and I needed to buy a bearing kit ($17.00). Not being mechanically inclined I asked for help and they were great! They greased the bearings, inspected the wheel and gave me guidance. They even loaned me a hammer and punch to knock out the old bearing. They gave me a lot of time for free and I really appreciate it. It's great to have this kind of stellar service in a small town. They completed an oil change, rust proofing, transfer case service and installed the front turn signal bulb (had to remove a bunch of panels) in about 45 minutes. Because I got multiple services, they gave me a bunch of discounts and installed new wiper blades for free! They washed my windows after the rust proofing. I see the same staff over multiple visits, and they all seem quite happy to work there. They offer mechanical services as well. For selfish reasons, I don't want to give this review- don't want them getting too busy - but this is the place to go if you want efficient, friendly service.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY…read more "Avoid This Shop for Safety Checks!" Took my Lancer to Master Mechanic for a safety check, and it was an absolute nightmare. Halfway through, they called to tell me they couldn't find my wheel lock key and said they'd only charge me an hour's labor because they cannot complete the safety che k without it. I told them the wheel lock key was in the glove box, but they refused to check. I ended up paying $120 for an hour of labor and now they expect me to return and pay $169 again for the safety check. All because they didn't bother looking where I told them the key was and saw a young kid they could scam another 120$ from. This isn't the first time either. They pulled a similar stunt with my Mustang last summer and I ended up having it scrapped. when they were called on it. There was "nothing they could do" Lesson learned. I'll be taking my vehicles to Fitzsimmons from now on. Don't waste your time or money here. Absolutely would not recommend! 0 stars if possible.

Now, their shop is obviously busy and he could have said "leave it with me" but he didn't. He ordered the part and had the van in the air as soon as a bay was free and the repair was done within the hour. And...and, my buddy and l spent more on breakfast than the repair cost.
