I enjoyed my shopping experience today. I found an affordable everyday shower spray that doesn't require and scrubbing. I look forward to trying that out. I also found an affordable toilet smell good thingy majigy. I found some tooth brushes for dogs so I bought two of each for my Daphne and Scrappy. I can always count on Long Drugs for toys, dog food, and dog hygiene supplies. A trick I've seemed to learn is to pay for one item 1st. Then you'll receive a receipt full of coupons. Use those coupons for the next set of items. More than likely you'll have some cash back for items. I received 30% off today due to this trick. Love the coupons shopping experience at Longs Drugs. Plenty of parking makes this Longs Drugs location easy and is located on the same lot as Chik-Fil-A. The store is clean, organized, and has self-checkout, which is super convenient when you're in a hurry. They also have a photo center that offers services like passport photos, and I appreciated that they clearly displayed a price list--I've included a photo I took for reference. Another big plus is the public restrooms, with separate facilities for ladies and gentlemen, which is always appreciated. The pharmacy is another highlight. It's never busy whenever I come in, and they also offer drive-thru pickup (even though I haven't used it yet, it's nice to have the option). The staff throughout the store are always welcoming and friendly, which makes each visit pleasant. I took a few photos around the store to show what it's like. Today I was in the area of Ka Makana Ali'i Kapolei. I decided to check out the Longs Drugs across the street . Nice little Longs compared to most Long's. Very clean and wide aisle's they also have a drive thru Pharmacy which is convenient. Thanks to Cheryl, the in-store manager who collaborated with the higher level manager (off-site via phone) to resolve my dilemma, I am giddy happy with faith restored in human goodness and justice. I walked out of the store, neglecting to retrieve the $20 cash change I requested in my final self-checkout transaction this morning. Upon my return after a 2 Minute turnaround, the bill was gone. Cheryl's camera rewind had confirmed a "guy" who followed me had walked out with it and a smile. I cannot confirm if it is Long's policy to compensate customers "outta luck" like me, or if this was a one-time thing. The managers agreed to reimburse my stolen $20 with minimal hoohaw. At my age, with my Social Security and Medicare at risk these days, every penny counts so I remain forever grateful. I cannot vouch for all businesses, but this Longs Drugs has my back! Whenever I go into longs, it's a great find of some sort. This new Long Drugs is located in Kapolei Parkway near the Mall. Plenty of parking available too. Today I was just looking to use my coupons before they expired. I've only been in this Longs once before. This time I had time to really look around. There were some great deals in store. The employees are really nice. They asked me if I needed assistance. If I was finding everything I was looking for. At checkout, of course I found everything I was looking for and a few more items. Brand NEW, same "old" Longs Drugs in Kapolei. It sits on the corner across from Ka Makana Mall and directly beside the new Chic Fil A and 7-11. Pros: brand new! Same longs. Same products. Same same. No surprises. Convenient stop after the mall. Cons: entrance from north-south road or from from residential side. You cannot exit onto north-south road to get back to the mall. Only one exit and you can only turn right. No ATM machine inside store. Something to be said about the old, familiar Longs Drugs that we all gravitate to. This one is brand spanking new. read more

It was a great experience walking in at 9pm with our family. The smell of NEW is amazingly pleasing.. Shelves were fully stocked and organized. The managers are great and took the time to talk to us and we instantly felt the aloha spirt from each employee. The pharmacy is fully stocked and ready to serve. I've transferred our prescriptions already to this location. The local snack selection is on point and easy to find. The value and sales going on are also a great deal! My past experience with the pharmacy was concerning, therefore my past low rating. Today, Sept. 8, 2024 walked in to get our covid booster and flu vaccine and the gal that helped us, was helpful, thoughtful and kind. (I "only" returned since they were the closest to me, and were offering the Phizer vaccine.) Hopefully this pharmacy improves and can offer better assistance and the same knowledge with insurance coverages, that the CVS pharmacy on Farrington Hwy has given me. Store employees lied to me three times . When I wiped out my receipts to prove them wrong. Then they have nothing to say. I never got my free vitamins supplements on the buy 1 get one free. I can not return the Over The Counter items when bought with my medical insurance card. Once I slide my card my money is INSTANTLY GONE! Also once I bought and item and returned it , I can't get my money back, and only get a gift card instead SHORT THE SALES TAX. That's how CVS cash registers work. The employee can't do anything about it . Several times the store charged me regular price for an item I bought that was on sale! I was not aware of it until the last day of the sale. For the entire week I got riped off. No refunds. Every single week the sale items in the newspaper ad are not stocked in this store because they are non regular stocking item. It so difficult it drive in and out of the store parking lot the way it is configured not accessable from the main road "Kapolei Parkway". When I buy a OTC item it randomly gets charged to my OTC account or My Cash rewards account without my control nor knowledge until it's too late and my money is GONE ! CVS as big as they are should get together with the three big giants Humanna, Wellcare. and United Healthcare get it appropriately organized. This store doesn't post the blue OTC labels like they supposed to. The cash register frequently eats my coupons and don't credit me my coupon savings. No apologies. There are so much more that I can't explain it in short and it has to be shown in detail photos and videos, and so many different names to mention. Super happy that this longs opened in at this location, we went on opening night and was surprised to see how organized the shelves were. We got greeted by all the staff and most importantly the store manager "mignon" stopped to talk stories and tell us about the new store. I commended her and the staff for the amazing job as she explained how they had to stock the shelves manually because there system went down. They worked very long hours to get it ready for opening day. But this longs is filled with the right products, has a great selection, and they always have really good sales. From the staff at the front and around the store to the pharmacy, they are all awesome! So friendly, so helpful, even if the pharmacy line gets crazy long, everyone is always great. The sales that come up at longs always prompt me to do a walk around of the whole store, which is always clean and organized, the Kapolei longs has a large selection of local products (candies, chips, dressings, snacks, kitchen and bathroom linen). The photo center is pretty reasonable if you ever need photos printed. I got magnets done there as well and the quality is great. Using the app is always helpful. But I go for the sales on holiday items, canned goods, and some beauty products. Coupons are always available so keep your 10 foot receipts, as you'll need it to put into the self check out machine or give to the staff at check out. No drive up pharmacy at this location but parking here isn't an issue, it's driving out of this parking lot that can be tough. read more
