Today is the official reopening day for this park. Despite the rain, it is a great gem to this area. There is a playground for kids to play. There is a walking path with lots of talk tree for shades if needed. There is a nice pond on the walking path. The walking path has very clear mile marker signs. It is a short distant walk. There are three horses here that I saw today.

It's such a stunning and peaceful park with horses, red barn, and nice walking trail. Playground area was recently renovated and reopened couple weeks ago. It had some good qualities but definitely more toward older children. Restroom is quite clean. Plenty of parking spaces on weekdays.

I don't know about getting married here or about doing a photo shoot, but I did spend some time here. The park has a bunch of walking trails and I did wander a bit before enjoying the gardens and sitting in the chairs to watch the sunset. The park has very limited parking. Longview Farm Park in Town and Country has something for everyone. I love spending time at this park. Smiles start as I approach the white horse corral off Clayton Road. Visits to the Barn always happen first. The original part of this Barn is over 120 years old. It is fun to see some or the therapy horses or Onyx the Barn Cat. Equine Assisted Therapy owns the horses here. Longview Farm Park also has trails, a playground, a Pavilion, pond, and Historic Farm House. This park has restrooms near the Playground Area. Tennis is available at the front of the park. Groups or business can rent rooms in the Historic Farm House by the hour. This is also a Wedding Venue.

Small neighbor park with pond, playground, pavilion around a horse farm. Yes, it's cool for kids (nice playground) & dogs (water dishes available). Yes, there are paved trails looping around the farm & ponds plus a couple short unpaved trails. Yes, many invested in building decks into pond & benches all around. However, this is by no means a destination spot. The limited parking, single tennis court & only a small pond screams that. What they did here is made a nice place for horses & families (including dogs) to recoup & get some exercise.

I just got married at Longview Farm Park. We had the ceremony outside and a reception inside following. When I was first looking for venues for our wedding I was overwhelmed by the prices of other venues in the area. When I found that Longview Farm Park was reasonably priced and they offered a "plan b" location in case of rain my husband and I were excited to book our day. Longview Farm Park can be summed up as a beautiful venue with staff that is easy to work with. We really enjoyed the freedom to choose any caterer as long as they were licensed and the grounds surrounding the building was quite a sight to behold, many of the flowers blooming so late into September. Our primary contact was Catie Ward; who oversaw the venue rental. She was such a delight to work with and was easily accessible via email. The venue was not booked the day before our wedding and so we were able to setup the table decorations. This took a lot of stress off us on our actual wedding day. If we were to state any negatives it was that the venue did not provide outside chairs, those needed to be added on by an outside service at an additional cost. The venue did provide an arbor, however that was also an additional cost. Probably the biggest challenge for us was the music. Through no fault of Longview or its staff, music cannot be played outside (due to a Town and Country regulation) which, made it hard for some guests to hear our music during the ceremony.

Really cool park alert! I took my six year old godson to Longview Farm Park last weekend for some outdoor time and to burn off some of his never-ending energy, but unfortunately, we only could stay for about fifteen minutes because of a serious cicada infestation. They were literally everywhere and after pulling the third one out of my hair and trying to swat them off of his clothes, we were outta there. As great as this park is, I'd give it a good month before checking it out. Those cicadas are like little evil flying humans, I swear... When you get there, the first thing you see is an old, beautiful and historic looking house. The house belonged to a man named William Hibler in the 1820's, and apparently he was a baller, because this place is huge and you can tell it was worth some big money. You can go in and tour it, but with little man along, our interests were elsewhere: the horses. Yup, they have a really beautiful barn full of gorgeous therapy horses! Each one had a name, so we went to each stall, read the name outloud, and then pet each horse on the nose. It was so cool to be so up close to them, and knowing they were therapy horses made it even more special. These guys were so sweet and didn't even flinch at a pair of six year old hands grabbing for their faces! We spent most of our time in the barn because it was the only place that was cicada-free. There's a great playground for kids, and acres upon acres of streams, little bridge crossings, and it's just a really cool place to connect with nature. Take-aways: -Great for kiddos & nature lovers -The horse barn is definitely the coolest part -I really hate cicadas.

Beautiful community park! Nice walking paths. Beautiful pond with two decks, one that is wheelchair accessible. I would recommend that the trash cans on the property were emptied more often (not because they are full but because of the smell and bugs)

But- parking... Brentwood Parks And Recreation needs to align with the city to help with signage for parking. The lot is not large enough (maybe 60 spaces not positive) to have two directions. Even with it being clear to many that the natural flow was counterclockwise, a few felt the need to go against the natural flow. Then the streets around the park were full causing the streets capable of only allowing for a single lane of traffic. Even with a clear flow and literally no room for cars traveling in opposite directions... some attempted to push in, causing longer stand stills. It's like trying to go to the zoo/forest park on the weekends. But the park itself is fun!!! I do wish there was more shaded areas within the park itself. Parking needs to be fixed... there is no way an emergency vehicle could have gotten in to help if help was needed. That is a big concern.

Also, it's very open and I can see all parts of the park so even thought it's not fenced, it just feels safe. The kids love that part of it is a tree that you climb inside. Bathrooms are close so great for potty training toddlers who have to go RIGHT NOW. There are 4 picnic tables in the pavilion, 2 drinking fountains and some sunshades with benches. We had our kids' birthday party there and it went extremely well. Super affordable to rent! The only downside is one parking lot is a flat trek to the playground but a longer one and the other parking lot is fairly close but you have to walk down a big hill and so then also back up. So anyone who is more limited with ambulation or someone who fatigues very quickly may not find this playground particularly accessible. Otherwise it is a super fun and simple playground!
