Unfortunately, the other day I had to attend another wake and a service the day after and it was in this location again. The family was able to have a small religious service inside for 100 to 150 people and a military service outside afterward, with absolute organization and a sound system playing the deceased love one's favorite music. The staff was sensitive and, once again, very professional. I would recommend their services to others who need direction and would like a staff thats flexible.

When my family contacted Hamp it was smooth sailing. Not only was everyone incredibly understanding and kind, but they had a list of recommendations for almost everything, they walked us through everything we needed to do with ease. In one day we had everything picked and ready to go, simply amazing. The funeral home itself is the best i've ever seen. Its spacious, its beautiful, there's even a coy pond out back you can check out. I'm happy and honored my grandmothers beautiful service could be held here. Not only was everything seamless, but they had water bottles out for everyone, they even had the priest stop in to give a wonderful prayer towards the end of the wake, this would have meant the world to my grandmother. Everyone who attended even said it was one of the most beautiful wake & funerals they have attended. On the day of the funeral, everyone was organized and helpful to make everything happen perfectly, it was truly a relief. This well maintained cemetery established in 1808 is a place of beauty, peace, and serenity. A quiet gathering of past generations at rest with all too many stories of life that would be inspiring to hear. Although today's visit was to remember mom on her last day, which found me alone in this beautiful location, I have always found the staff here to be superb caring people! It shows in the upkeep of the cemetery. A slow walk amongst the headstones and trees can bring a sensual spirit of peace. Amazing how in a well conceived resting place for the dead we can again find life. This two hundred year old cemetery may have its full contingent of resting souls but if you are feeling rushed in life ... you may find rest by walking in its peacefulness.
