The sister is the one paying." I immediately hung up. I was completely astonished that someone could possibly speak that way about family members who've just lost their loved one. The hall where the service took place was beautiful, besides sympathies, the most common thing I heard was about how great the place looked. They had a couple comfort animals running around and a staff member was always unobtrusively available. They made a wonderful slideshow out of the pictures we gave them. Digitized everything. The most touching part was a display they made, we had discussed interests, hobbies and such. They made a whole display out of the things we talked about with some pictures added on.

I ordered a beautiful spray of flowers to be delivered, and when the flowers arrived, the funeral home sent the flowers back because they are not what they wanted. Even though it was the family's wishes for an full open casket, hours before the showing, they closed half of the casket and told us they would never leave it open (even though that is what we were told and planned). When confronting the problem, the owners were very disrespectful. Therefore I beg you to please avoid this place. Go someplace else and say your goodbyes and prayers at a funeral home that will take care of your wishes. This place ruined saying goodbye to a very special family member.
