I would give this place zero stars if I could. The concept feels like a cheap motel trying to appear upscale by adding a jacuzzi in the room, but the overall condition is very outdated and run down. The room had a mildew smell mixed with old cigarette smoke, and the property overall felt dingy. The hallways were gloomy, and gave an uncomfortable, eerie like feel. It didn't feel clean or well-maintained. For the price, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, this felt more like a quick-stay motel than a place you'd choose for a comfortable or enjoyable stay. We stayed in a beautiful room our first night there. Clean, cozy, with a champagne tub next to the fireplace. Upstairs was where the bed was with a tv and access to the champagne tub. The next night we moved to a room with a heart shaped tub and our own private pool! It was even more amazing, and very romantic! This room also had a fireplace, and the staff gave us the logs for free both nights. We got lucky, the rooms with the pool book months in advance so we were told. It was a great weekend! read more

This motel is good for one night if you want to be intimate with that special someone. It was clean. No microwave or fridge in the room but there was a microwave in the lobby. The jacuzzi was clean but I still brought my own disinfectant wipes. I wouldn't recommend if you don't have a car and want to explore the town. If you do leave the room, there's restaurants and other activities in the area. Everything is about five minutes away by car. There are many restaurants to order from if you want to eat in your room. The only thing I wish they had was a coffee maker in the room or lobby. read more

All was ok until a roach was crawling up the wall. Have video to show management but they knew of the situation with the roach problem they have. Was moved to a 2nd room but the TV wasn't fully operational. Was moved to a 3rd room but couldn't sleep with the thought a roaches going through our stuff. Expected ALOT more from here. read more

Giving 1 star because while the room (room 301) was clean and beautiful, the jacuzzi only ran cold water so i wasted my money. The phone in the room didn't work so i had to call directly from my cell to which they sometimes answered which led to me calling twice on each issue just to speak with someone. The guy at the front desk first told me to run the water for 30 mins which i did, then told me to wait 30 minutes with it off which i also did and i still did not get hot or even warm water. I explained that the water in the shower was hot and he couldn't understand. There was no point in getting a room with a jacuzzi i couldn't use. Also, the room smelt like cigarettes right thru which we overlooked because of the jacuzzi and now I'm extremely disappointed. Smfh. read more

I had heard about this magic place just 30 minutes from where I live, with themed rooms and jacuzzis. After a grueling couple of weeks in this cold NJ winter, my boy and I had been fantasizing about hanging out in a hot tub. Well our wishes were granted, and I'm glad we took a chance and strolled over to this joint. It was well worth it. After checking out the reviews here, I feel compelled to stick up for the place, but also offer a few tips. First of all, it is what it is. A motel that rents by the hour is obviously not going to look and feel like a 5 star hotel. I'm reading that some yelpers were disappointed by how "divey" the place felt. This is a novelty, a FUN place to be, and it's shaped like a castle for goodness sake, so don't take it too seriously. It was built in 1988 and there have been no upgrades -- it felt like time travel. Upon initial walk in, we flicked on the lights and were hysterically laughing for the first 5 minutes, "Is this for real? Are they kidding? This is amazing !". The 80's style Scarface vibes add to the kitschy allure. Didn't you you come here to unwind and escape reality anyway? Perhaps stay for the 4 hour block (that's what we did) instead of staying for the whole night. Get a bottle of wine and hang out in the jacuzzi and have fun with ALL THOSE MIRRORS surrounding you on the walls and ceilings. Now that I've raved about all the things I dig about this place, I'll warn you of a few flaws to avoid disappointment (and hopefully management reads this- I'd love to inspire some upgrades). - Upon entering the room, we got blasted with the stench of cigarettes. Even as the occasional smoker myself, I was a little grossed out. It was such a strong stench, that I had a moment of panic that someone was already using our room and was smoking inside. Although it is cool to have the smoking option, please ventilate the rooms better. Which brings me to my next point: -What good is it to have a room encapsulated by mirrors, if only for them to be completely fogged up as soon as you get the jacuzzi going. Again, Loop Inn, you are wonderful but please install vents, the type of vents that are usually in bathrooms to pull out shower steam. -Lack of towels. Obviously 2 people will be using the room, and we come here to use the jacuzzi, and it is winter right now. 2 medium sized cheap thin towels may have dried us off, but I really could have used an extra one for my hair. Going home with wet hair in the winter is no good. Or a hair dryer in the bathroom would have been considerate, being that those are pretty standard in any motel room. With all that said, it is still totally worth going. I love this place and think it's one of a kind. We had a blast, and will be back again. I'll just make sure to bring some extra towels next time. read more

New Jersey's very own love motel! Came here for a romantical romp with a special friend. Opted for the regular room just as a tryout. The outside looked like some old prison. Wish I had taken a pic of it. I think they filmed Walking Dead Season 3 here. Glenn and Maggie probably had a good time in one of the rooms. Stairway leading up to our 3rd floor room reeked of cigarettes. Hallway was dimly lit. I was getting pretty nervous about what I had just plunked down money for. Now for the moment we've all been waiting for... Ta da! A regular room with a heart shaped jacuzzi. Meh. The room, while as clean as I hoped, was not as romantic as I thought it would be. "Leather" couch lacked padding. Bed covers definitely not luxurious nor sensual. Attention was definitely not given to detail here. Nonetheless, it's definitely a step up from a motel, but I think a hotel might still be more romantic. The 4 hour option is nice for a variety of situations. I am still intrigued by the higher priced offerings. read more

I stayed here yesterday , got the honeymoon room. Once i wakes into the room, it smelled like smoke and sour apples . The couch stunk, the bed had pieces of hair and other skin remnants. I was disgusted and called the receptionist to see if I could change the room, he said told me they weren't any other available rooms. First she was extremely rude, she couldn't be bothered to answer couple of my questions on the rooms, availability,policies I'm sorry that you're so miserable that you hate your job. It looked so relaxing but with the treatment I received from the representative I can only imagine the treatment I will get the facility. My best friend rented this room for a valentines nite interlude with the love of her life...she also asked him to marry her and yes, they lived happily ever after. We decorated this room from top to bottom with candles, but I've got to say that I have never seen anything quite like this room...it has lit up neon roman columns through out the room, a spiral staircase leading to your downstairs waterfall pool...and CLEAN... A heart shaped jacuzzi rests on a stage surrounded by mirrors and the heart shaped bed has a car radio built in next to it..the funniest thing I've seen yet! I can't remember what she paid for this place but I can tell you it's got to be pricey folks, so get the green in order. read more

I really love this place ! My boyfriend took me here for a nightcap on our anniversary and it was sweet a basic room comes with a jacuzzi the lights u can dim them down to set the mood . He brought candles so it was extra sexy ! I gave it 4 instead of 5 because : 1: bedsheets.. what bedsheets I had to snag the housekeeper to put a sheet on the bed and I need 2 extra pillows 2: the room smelled like cigarettes and the hallway smelled of cigarettes and of old carpets that need shampooing 3: the tv is to small for such a big room and the channel selection was none you might as well watch the 2 porn stations lol or listen to 1 of the 2 music channels Overall for the price its more than you'd expect. The room was stank and the bed sank... Seriously, I smelled cigarette smoke even though there's a no smoking policy with signs everywhere! Also, the bed springs were broken or something because the mattress sank in the middle. But the room was big enough to have a small party! For $65 for 4 hours it served its purpose. This spot wasn't the most romantic. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the size of the room gave it a good buffer to the other rooms. The size of the room was big enough for a party of 4-6. Went there for the first time. First of all, it's a smoking motel. Every single hallway and room reeks of cigarettes. I did not know this until arriving and was not happy about it as I'm allergic to tobacco. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the room was not impressive. No fridge, microwave, anything for food storage. The tub jets blew out cold water, the tub also drained very quickly but took forever to fill up, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We had to leave in the middle of the night because my allergies were so bad my throat was closing and the bed was impossible to sleep on. Would not recommend, would not return read more

They either break down the door like theyre the feds or don't knock at all and rush in while they hear you in there. continually open the door while hearing people having sex. I have only tried the honey moon suites thus far so I can only comment on those. The motel is conveniently located right off a highway so finding it shouldn't be a problem. There is plenty of parking inside the motel. Checking in was fast and easy. They make you sign a slip and ask which room you want. Unfortunately for me, both times I went I got the honey moon suite. That's ok though. You are able to call and reserve another room ahead of time. They have a wide variety of themes for different occasions too. You are given the option to stay for the night or rent for a couple of hours. Getting to the room is why I knocked down a star. There was no REAL issue but when you're inside the building, the hallways look like you're on set for American Horror story. It's dimly lit, and the decor looks a little outdated. But I must say once you get into you're room, it's the complete opposite. The rooms are extremely clean. Everything from the floor to the jacuzzi. You can tell that a lot of detail went into making the room feel very romantic. They have a fireplace, a jacuzzi, lights that are dimmable, and a themed bed. Some rooms have mirrors on the roof where the bed is located. All in all, this place is great. Wifey, hubby, or thot, if you wanna show someone a good time, this is where you need to take them. The rooms are always clean, hot tubs always clean. Ive only been in the regular room. Never used the tv while there so cant comment on that. But everything else in the room was fine no complaints. First time, we ordered italian food and they delivered to us, we got the menus from the lobby. Another time we went out for dinner at a place called "patria", since we did an overnight stay. I'm giving place a 4 instead of 5 because everyone was right it does smell like cigarettes no matter where you are and I personally don't smoke so it does bother me a lot but we had such an amazing time the suana is really cool it has speakers and lights and the tub stays warm for a long period of time you can regulate the temperature in your room you can regulate the lights and there are many many lights and speakers in the room the TV doesn't have great shows or anything but who goes there to watch TV anyways the bed was comfortable but not the best sheets throw pillows or if you're really obsessed about sleeping comfortably bring your own pillows but we barely slept we stayed the whole night it was such a great time and we will be going back soon. read more
