The absolute worst experience. I requested a monthly unlimited membership, but the employee mistakenly charged me for a single wash ($19.99) instead. Because of this, I misunderstood and thought the monthly subscription had been processed correctly, keeping the receipt with me. When I tried to address the issue, the employee became extremely angry. He intentionally printed out a blank receipt in front of me and ripped it up in a highly aggressive and threatening manner. When I demanded my original receipt back, he initially lied and said he had already thrown it away and it was gone. I insisted on getting my receipt, and only then did he dig it out and hand it back to me. I felt incredibly unsafe and had to leave the premises immediately. This is dangerous behavior and completely unacceptable customer service. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on the "NEW Carwash". This car wash was an absolute joke. I choose the "ultimate" cost$ 16.99. After the wash, it left soap bubbles on the front of my car, and there was still visible dirt on nearly every surface. The entire process was ridiculously short -- it felt like they were just trying to push the car through as fast as possible without actually cleaning anything. This is one of the most interesting convenience / gas stations , I have been to in a Ten Mile Radius inland around San Francisco. This place has a little bit of everything for a pit stop. First of all most San Francisco convenience/ gas stations have lots loitering going on and it can be disrupting. This place is clean and also has great snacks ,good selection of beverages, and dim sum ( yes gas station dim sum). This is a formal complaint about the store management Rocio. This lady has absolutely no skills to be a store management. On the evening of November 24th, I took my car to the car wash at this location which is located at 398 Gellert Blvd. When I finished washing the car and went back to the garage, something terrible happened. I found a lot of scratches and paint peeling on the front right side of the car, my car even went from a shiny finish to a matte finish. I immediately went back to gas station and tried to report the issue to their staff, But I was told that their manager wasn't there, none of these people knows how to handling my situation, they asked me to come back and talk to their manager on Friday. On Friday afternoon I returned to the same place and was told that their manager was not there. After some tossing and turning, I was told that their manager worked at another store which is located at 390 Hickey Blvd. I reached out to the management Rocio by phone and tried to explain my situation to her, but instead of trying to understand the cause of the matter, she was very indifferent to me and told me that they're not responsible for any damage caused by the car wash. I had to go to her place of work and show her how my car was doing. She threw the car wash incident report form right in my face instead of saying Hello. I took her to my car and tried to show her where it had been scratched, but was met with a cynical look on her face, she even tried to pass the buck by saying that the scratches on my car weren't from their car wash. Really? Rocio, do you really think you will knows my car better than myself? She even tried to tell me that they posted a disclaimer outside the car wash and told me that I can go to take a photo if I like. But hey! However, the disclaimer does not mean that you do not need to maintain your equipment to cause all this damage to my car even though I have followed the rules. All right, I completed the car wash incident report form and asked her when I would hear back, but I was told " I DON'T KNOW" on every single question I had asked after I had the incident form get completed. "Nothing else I can do it for you, your situation are took over from our corporate office now" she said. Mrs Rocio, as a store manager, do you feel your attitude, your ability to work, and your customer service are really what a manager should be? Based on your attitude and ability to deal with problems, I will definitely follow up my situation, if you don't want to deal with it, I'll deal with your corporate office, if your corporate office doesn't want to deal with it, I'll go over to the Best Business Bureau. I went into the car wash with a PREPAID code, all of a sudden the car wash says that it's out of service, so I go park and come inside and told them the situation and they gave me another code saying that the only issue was the code. Clearly not, I went back into the car wash and the code said "not authorized". So AGAIN, I go inside and tell them, they give me a THIRD code, when I had just asked for a refund. She said try again or you have 30 days to use it??? Like okay, last chance. I go back to the car wash, enter the code and low and behold the code is DENIED. So at that point I just pay at the kiosk for another car wash and go in, get my car washed. I finish up and go back inside to get refunded for the first one I paid for that obviously didn't work the past three times. They call the manager over, first of all no greeting or anything so very rude. And instead of apologizing for the inconvenience as I had to step in to the store three times, she asked me "what's wrong with the car wash??? We fixed it. You're just using it wrong!" Like what? I literally took photos of the kiosk to show her. She was asking me questions as if I was trying to get away with a free wash when I had already paid twice at this point and wanted a refund for my first code that didn't work. This review is for the car wash. Gas prices are comparable to the cheveron and shell down the street. The lot is large enough so you don't get stuck in the crowd with other crowds. This review is about the horrible customer service and how the car wash isn't as "simple" as they make it to be. So I come in at about 1pm on a sunny SF day -- and there's an 7 car line for a car wash -- of course this makes perfect sense and comes with the territory with the sun. So I get my gas and pay $8 for their highest tier wash - my car really needed a good wash. So then I wait in the massive line for 30 minutes and finally it comes to my turn and I punch in the code to get in and then it tells me "go" so i go in... when I go in the thing completely turns off when my wheels lock into the car wash -- which I found odd -- usually when your wheels lock in it would turn on the wash. So it didn't then I have to back up and try again. then the whole machine shuts down on me, i get really really confused. When I go inside to check what went wrong, I presented my receipt to the cashier and she of course started yelling at me about how this was all my fault and whether or not I had even been through a drive through car wash. She got really defensive with me and insisted that her manager was away and she couldn't do anything. She basically pushed me out of line and asked to help the next guest. She was very condescending and rude beyond belief. She snapped at me anytime and overall I am very disappointed in this shell and the Filipino woman working. I frequent this gas station a lot as it is right off of the 280 and their price is competitive with other quailty gasoline in the area. I only use Chevron, Shell, or 76 premium gasoline for my car... They even have an automated carwash station here for those of you who are too lazy to wash your car yourself. Oh, and there are a lot of pump stations, but you do sometimes have to wait during peak hours (e.g. after work around 5-7pm) This place gets 4 stars due to its convenient location, reasonable prices, and its automated carwash along with its numerous pump stations. read more

The pump says $1 off car wash if you buy more than 8 gallons of gas, but the computer does not subtract the dollar from your charge card. If you don't ask the cashier for the $1 refund, you get ripped off. They're probably making an extra buck off everyone buying a car wash. read more

The young tall stack load lady who works there is soooooo rude to my daughter who is only 3 years old. Who the hell goes around being fucken rude toward toddler. Was willing to drop money for a straw but this rude-must be lonely -no life have the audacity to throw straws behind her causing a scene and say she (3year old) only allowed one or two. Shouldn't be a big deal like, we was going to buy what ever it cost for how ever much my child was going to ask for, but to be all attitude and make a child cry is fucking rude. The other elderly lady was very nice and gave us some straws so there was a kindness restored for this gas station if it wasn't for her. But dame I hate going to this gas stations. Drive somewhere else cause unless you like rudeness in its core by all go there but I will never forget how she- (stack load rudeness )made my child feel. And if manager is reading this. DON'T USE THIS CARWASH. I can't believe I'm writing a review of a gas station, but after reading all these other car wash stories I feel obligated to add mine. I paid for a nine dollar wash after waiting in line for over 20 minutes. When I drove in, the machine shut down, repeatedly signaling for me to back up. The lights were alternately flashing green and "back up". It was obvious something had gone wrong. After a few minutes of this I drove out to alert someone that the carwash hadn't worked for me. Disappointing, but not the end of the world. At that point I had to get back to work and just wanted my money back since I didn't have time to wait in line again. The store was completely empty except for three employees. I spoke with an older lady with short gray hair and explained that the car was hadn't worked for me. Immediately she barked "OH, WHERE'S YOUR CAR?!" I pointed outside and said I had already driven out. (What, was I supposed to leave my car in there and walk through a broken carwash on foot?) She demanded to see my receipt and I said that I had paid at the carwash itself and didn't believe I had been given one but would look for it. She took that as an opportunity to pretend I was making it all up. Yes, that's right lady. I spend my time driving to various gas stations pretending that carwashes don't work. That's sooo fun for me. I feel so productive just thinking about it. Eventually she stomps away to "go see if it works." When she comes back, she totally ignores me and starts working on something behind the counter! I repeated again that I needed my money back and that the carwash hadn't worked. I went here to get my car washed. I have a white car by the way. In the middle of getting my car washed, the machine stopped working. The part where the water squirts out, that part stopped working. I waited a bit and realized that it had completely stopped. So I drove through and explained to the worker there what happened. She said I will be back. So I waited .... and waited....... It took 20 minutes before she finally returned. I explained to her again what had happened. And had the proof to show it. My white car now had black smudges all over it. She insisted that the machine was not broken despite seeing how dirty my car had become. I asked if she could manually set the machine again so that I can have it cleaned. Hopefully this time it will work well and then I can be off. But no, she refused to refund me the money or set the machine to run again. She said the only option I had was to pay again. I asked, "Well, if I pay again, can you guarantee that the machine won't malfunction and my car will be cleaner than it is now?" And she said, "I can't guarantee anything." Now I was getting irritated and asked if I can just have my money back and I will go elsewhere to have it cleaned. She then said I will have to wait for the manager. I asked how long will that take? And she said I will have to wait for one hour if I would like to speak to the manager. That is awful customer service. I am so upset. If the machine is malfunctioning I understand because that is life. However, the way they chose to handle the situation was not very accommodating at all. I just came to fill up my Diesel SUV. My first clue should have been the fact that fuel spilled onto my car while I was putting the hose into the fuel tank, but I ignored it, jist wiped off the stinky fuel off my car. Now, my 6 months old baby was in the car, so I couldn't watch the counter or the hose, but I sense something was wrong when the counter showed over 22 gallons of pumped Diesel, while my tank capacity is 22 gallons, and I still had some when I pulled in. I walked around, and I saw fuel spilling freely onto my car, rear wheel and the ground. Apparently the pump was faulty, and the automatic shut-off failed. No big deal I thought, I am sure they will take care of it, and I would not have to pay for the spilled fuel. I approached the attendant near the pump, and told her what happened. Her first response was that "they never had any complaints". Well, that logic scared me a bit: I would hope that if they had complaint of fuel spilling all over - they would have fixed it or shut off the pump. So I said: "OK, I am "complaining". To that she said that she is not the manager, and the manager is inside. I find the manager, and tell him the situation. First he doesn't believe me, so he walks out to see it with his own eyes. When he sees that I was right, and there is a pile of fuel on the ground he gives me another gem: "With the gas being that cheap - I am not going to do anything". I guess it makes sense: when you managing a gas station, and probably don't have to pay for gas - $3.99 a gallon, and $88 for a tank is not a big deal. So to finalize: 1. Even though Diesel was RELATIVELY cheap at $3.99 - to me it was expensive, because I had to pay for at least a gallon of it spilled. 2. It spilled onto my car, and anyone that has experience with Diesel fuel knows that it smells, and it is oily, so dirt sticks to it. 3. The station is a safety risk. 4. The concept of customer service is non-existent with this establishment. read more
