This is the best hair cut I've ever had in my life. Noriko understood my hair, and also knew how to style it. I can't say enough about how pleased I am. For reference: I have mostly straight hair with a very mild wave in some places, some odd cowlicks, that is very thick but fine and needs to be properly shaped. She knew how to thin and texturize it perfectly into a very chic bob. I am super picky with hair stylists so I am absolutely delighted after my cut. The salon is very nice as well. read more

I found this through Yelp and I'm glad that I decided to try it out. It's located on the 2nd floor in the same plaza as Daiso. I had an appointment with Kyoko. I showed her a picture of an asymmetric cut that I wanted and two options for bangs. She helped me choose blunt bangs, and I'm really happy with that choice. I love the cut! And a few months later, it has grown out quite nicely. She also explained to me that she cut the inner layer a bit shorter so that my hair would lay flat rather than poof out at the bottom. Her English isn't that good, but I'm glad that I showed her the pictures, as that made it easier to communicate and ensure that I got the haircut that I wanted. read more

Have been coming here to see Noriko since 2019 and love everything about her and this space. Noriko is super detail oriented, takes very good care of your hair and listens to your thoughts closely. I waited so long for my review for this place but here I am MARINA was her name this "stylist" gave me a horrible experience in any salon I've ever been. I called the salon and asked for someone with experience with my curly hair and was recommended to go with her she chopped my hair so bad I couldn't grow it in almost a year my hair was long! Long and even though I asked for a trim, a trim means a trim. I was blunted speechless the whole time hoping to see good results and when she finished my hair was not only short but even more frizzy than the usual I asked her if she can smooth it out and her answer was "that's as far as your hair can go" I was again speechless! I couldn't react or say much I was in shock I really hate her for the next 3 months every time I see my self in the mirror I would see her face in it! Her name got stuck with me that I never gonna forget this experience. When I try to talk to her about it she said I need an appointment to see her and tried to give me on in 3 weeks or so. I just got my Japanese hair straightening done by Toshie today. She is absolutely wonderful and she really took her time to make my hair look great! The process takes about 3-4 hours but I love how talkative she is therefore it didn't feel like it took so long. She did an amazing job and I highly recommend her for the Japanese straightening I did. She also was so sweet to help me trim the unhealthy hair I had at the bottom. I went to Loops Hair Studio to get the Yuko hair straightening treatment by Ken & I loved the entire experience! I had never gotten my hair professionally worked on and I'm glad my first time was there, the place is so nice inside, it feels very homey & comfortable! I called the Studio to get more info on the treatment and they gave me Ken's number who I texted back and forth till we set an appointment. He was really nice and professional and answered any questions I had over text messages or call before I actually went in for the treatment. When I went in I was greeted by Ken & then he got straight to work on my hair after giving me a little more info on what he was about to do, he's super friendly and easy to talk to which is key when working on someone's hair for 4+ hours. They also have free wifi for customers which is always a plus! I think my hair looks great, I have yet to wash it and see how it holds up but I'm hoping it will remain the same until I need a touch-up. The only thing I wish they did was post the prices online or estimates at least. I saw someone post a picture of a sign they used to have outside with prices and that was what I was basing myself off of. The old prices for the Yuko hair treatment were lower which is understandable since nearly everything has gone up the past couple of years but it has gone up a significant amount, for a broke college student as myself it's pretty hard to come up with that type of money but I managed and I'm really glad I did! I've been going to taka hair salon since 2013 and they're great but the last couple of times I was left a little disappointed especially since their prices have gone up a good amount for a haircut. I decided to look for a new place and discovered loops while eating at curry house. Appt was easy; I was able to go in the next day. Noriko is awesome and so nice and takes time on your hair. I chopped off my mop and decided to go with a bob cut. It feels so much lighter and healthier. Definitely recommend this place. Also I really like the layout and design of the store. I would probably come here again as it is cheaper than the other Japanese hair salons.
