Thanks to a Christmas gift certificate from our daughter, we finally booked our massages. Hubby really needed this after major back surgery last year. Well on his path to recovery we finally had our first visit. My masseuse, Abe, was fantastic. He found all the nooks and crannies where my muscles were tight outside of the areas I had mentioned. The pressure was firm and I felt it in a good way. You gotta put pressure on those knots to work then out. He would have liked to work on me for 90 minutes but there was another appointment after me. Darn it! So, I have booked a return in a month because self care is important. Hubby liked how massage. Because of his back issues, folks are more cautious with the pressure they apply. He just needs to speak up more. They have a membership program that gives you a monthly discount. Will definitely consider. Location is convenient and easy parking. Marcial took such good care of me while I recovered from an abdominoplasty. I was so sore and swollen, with surgical drains and limited mobility. He helped me with my compression garment, propped up a bunch of pillows so I could lay comfortably on the table, and did a thorough lymphatic drainage massage every few days post-op as directed by my surgeon. Oh man. These guys kicked my butt, in a hurt so good kind of way. I scheduled relatively last minute as I've had some terrible shoulder pain that literally decades of intervention have done nothing for besides massage. I came here after searching "myofascial massage" and they showed up. My massage therapist (I forget hr name, I'm sorry) listened to me and was exceedingly professional and thorough. She gave super deep pressure, and after my massage was over, was able to show me stretches and exercises to help strengthen where I was weak. I had a massage with Jacki on 2/1/25. I had shoulder surgery last May and she worked my shoulder in a way that I can't say how but I can't even tell I've had surgery. She works magic. I had the best experience here with Marcial. I have had chronic pain since last year dealing with stage 3 endometriosis. I have been on pain meds and seeing specialist. Great deep tissue sports massage by Marcial. I've had low back issues for years and was recommended to add this to my chiropractic routine and it has been a game changer!! The massage sessions keeps me moving, reduces muscle spasms, and I don't feel the pulling on my lower back. Marcial's great at knowing what other connecting muscles/tissue to work on that will alleviate the areas that are in pain or aggravated. I just let him know what I may be feeling since my last visit. Add this to your routine as preventative care and avoid the flareups. I haven't had once since I started going which has been around a year now. My back or hips used to get stuck multiple times a year. I recommend doing 90min sessions instead of 60min to get the most benefit. the 60mins goes by so quick once you get relaxed and into the deep work the time seems to be up lol. Also, I signed up for their recurring customer program which makes it super easy, they just auto bill me each month. The front desk staff is always friendly and easy to work with for scheduling and I love their text notifications so I never forget or makes it easy to reschedule if something comes up. Leaving this review as I don't see many for prenatal massages and this was the best I've had. I've had several prenatal massages during my pregnancy and while they were all good, they didn't work the areas I specified as having problems with. I got carpal tunnel during this pregnancy, super tight IT Bands from years of being an athlete, and extreme shoulder pain that was so bad I couldn't lay down for more than 15 minutes. I worked with Paul who was able to target these areas safely for me and my baby. He knew the pressure points to avoid sending me into labor which was something I was concerned about (I'm 34 weeks). Pressure was excellent and he explained what he was doing and why it would help the entire time. My IT Bands are unrelated to pregnancy so I'll definitely be coming back to have them worked on. read more

I started going to Loosen Up for massage around 11 weeks ago on the recommendation of my physical therapist. I had knee replacement 4 months ago and had developed an awful case of ITBS (IT Band Syndrome) post surgery. So bad I could barely walk 2-3 blocks without having to turn around and go elevate and ice. I really wanted someone knowledgeable about the type of surgery I had gone though and who could help me with massage as other treatments like foam rolling were not an option at my recovery stage. Paul has absolutely 100% changed the trajectory of my recovery. To the point that 11 weeks later from my first appointment I am walking the dog 2-3x a week about 3 miles each day and am back to playing Pickleball. My walk is also finally back to looking normal as well. Paul pointed out that I was pushing my leg with my back muscles instead of using my quad when I walked and now that I am really focusing on flexing that muscle it made all of the difference in my gait. Still not fully recovered, takes about a year for that but I really do feel like I have some quality of life back and I'm SO thankful to Paul and this facility for helping me get there. I feel like they are miracle healers. I recently hurt myself deadlifting, but after a treatment here you feel like the injury is not even there. Acupuncture , Chiropractic , Physical Therapy all offered little to no relief to alleviate the pain. Let me open by saying that I was simply requesting clarification on the company's Disclaimer of Liability (which I would encourage any new OR existing client to actually read. The verbiage states that by signing, you are completely absolving the company of ANY liability INCLUDING negligence! This company even offers Prenatal Services, which would mean if something happened to your baby while they were treating you, you would have absolutely no recourse if you signed their intake form. Their employee Chris openly admitted in front of the other member of staff that he had never read the forms, and "no one else has either". They proceeded to call the owner Gina, and when I spoke with her on speaker in front of her employees, she couldn't explain the document either. Rather than apologize for my concern, she said "look our lawyers drafted this and they said it's legit so you can either sign it or not, we don't force people to do anything". I had high hopes for this place due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews, however, it just wasn't the case for me. I've been having chronic neck and shoulder pains due to my occupation (Software Engineer). I've tried other places for temporary relieves but people at Loosen Up took this to another level. I've seen three different therapists here and all were great, but I've been seeing Kristina recently and she's done an amazing job so far!
