This is an area we are unfamiliar with and let alone we ended up pulling into this sketchy area as it was the closest off the freeway. It was so scary and we had to abandon our vehicle due to not being able to get roadside service right away. My family and I had to leave our vehicle behind an alley and run to find a safe place to find a tow company. I called a few places and they told them our situation and they were quoting $600+ plus to tow and drive us back to the Valley. I ended up finding Hawks via Yelp and decided to give them a call. I ended up speaking with a nice individual and he quoted us half the price. They came to our rescue and had to bring a flatbed due to the type of vehicle we had. He drove us all the way from Lynwood to the Valley. After going through such a traumatic and sad incident with my Father the Owner of Hawks drove us to our house safely he was kind, compassionate, he kept my sons spirits up and made us feel at ease and just safe. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE…read more Mercedes-Benz dispatched QZ Towing because I had a flat tire. I waited nearly TWO HOURS. Then I was told the driver was "right outside." He was not. The driver had gone to the gas station NEXT DOOR instead of my clearly marked address. I could literally see his tow truck from my unit. I immediately went outside, opened my gate, and was standing approximately 50-100 feet away. I was RIGHT THERE. Instead of taking a few seconds to locate the correct address--which was directly next door--the driver simply DROVE AWAY and left me stranded with a flat tire. What happened next was even more disturbing: QZ Towing reported to Mercedes-Benz that I had "cussed out" the driver. That is absolutely FALSE. I did not curse at that driver. Nearly two hours waiting. No tow. Driver leaves while I am only feet away. Then an inaccurate complaint is made about me afterward. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Mercedes-Benz should seriously reconsider using QZ Towing as a roadside-assistance provider. Based on my experience, I would NEVER recommend this company.
