Two hours late I had a 4 hour conference call. I paid in advance due to being on the call (mistake). Paid to have the exterior detailed, had tree sap and hard water stains on the car and windows. I was charged for the extra services which was not an issue. The water stains on the windows was not removed. They missed a section that still has tree sap. I texted him about coming back to make it right. He read the text but did not respond back. Would never use them again! read more

Esteban Lopez has no punctuality or attention to detail. I took a half day from work & had an appointment on base later on in the day, so we scheduled the interior detail for 8AM. I am on my way there when at 7:30AM he texts me that he needs me to come in at 9:30AM. Keep in mind the interior detail takes 3-4 hours & I was hoping to be done by noon so I can make it back to work at 1PM. This completely destroys my plans for the day, but I already gave my down payment which is nonrefundable so I had to comply. At 9:30AM he texts me that he is 8 minutes away. He did not arrive until 9:43AM. When him & his partner get out of the car, they REEK of weed. I have no issue with people smoking, but if that's a priority over the service you are supposed to be providing, that's an issue. He says it will not take any more than 2 hours after inspecting the vehicle. I come back two hours later & him & his guys are sitting around, my car is not done yet & they had me wait another 20 minutes before I was able to drive off. The car looked clean in some areas, but did not smell clean, which was truly disappointing for someone who just spent $280 on a detailer. The stains in the trunk were not removed & the door panels still had dirt stains that I was able to wipe off with a microfiber towel, which means they just didn't clean that at all. Overall, the service provided was so bad that if I could give this business 0 stars, I would. read more

Recently I took my 2012 Toyota Camry to Lopez Auto Detailing for a complete detail inside and out after taking 2 years of outdoor abuse (mud, gravel, tree sap, bird poop) and Esteban and his crew made it look like I just got it off the showroom floor. I truly wish I could attest to Lopez Auto Detailing's service. I live in Nevada City and work at Beale AFB. My wife set up an 8:00 appointment for last Saturday, 18 May, and to expect it to take "most of the day." I wasn't thrilled about making the nearly hour long trek down the hill early on a Saturday morning and not having a car to go anywhere while I waited, but she assured me this was the place to go. The package they decided on was going to be $300, which is way outside our normal detailing price range, so for her to agree to this, he must have truly convinced her that it would be a top-notch job. LAD was supposed to call me the day prior to confirm the appointment. I had checked the weather forecast for that Saturday and they were forecasting 100% chance of rain, so I called around noon to see if we should keep or reschedule the appointment. That call went straight to voicemail. No problem. It's probably a small operation and they were probably working on a customer's car. When I got done with work at 5, I still had not heard from them, so I called again. The guy that answered said he was "just about to call me." Uh yeah. Whatever. He assured me that the work would be done under cover and being rained on afterward would be inconsequential, so we reconfirmed that I'd be there at 8:00 in the morning. I showed up at 8:00 and the gate was closed (they operate out of a utility trailer in a used car dealership's lot). I tried calling and the call went straight to voicemail. I called my wife (who was out of town) to verify the appointment time. To kill time, I ran an errand and when I came back at 9:00, the gate was open but no one was at the utility trailer. The guys inside the dealership mumbled something about him having some sort of emergency and said they'd try calling. The only number they had was the one I had been trying that was going straight to voicemail. It's now the following Friday and they have not contacted me to try to reschedule or apologize for standing me up. Judging from the other reviews and my wife's personal discussion with them, I'm sure they do great work. They're simply not responsible. read more
