I had a very disappointing experience with California Transmission. I came in looking to swap Chevy Astro transmission and the high selling point with California transmission would be completed in a one day turnaround. However, unfortunately, I found myself having to call the shop multiple times for an update, and we're constantly hesitant to update me. In the end up having to wait three days to get my vehicle To make matters worse, they failed to properly reconnect my oil dipstick to the engine block, which is a basic but critical oversight. I know that mistakes are common, however, granted to the fact that Israel emphasize how professional they are 25 years of experience, I am surprised something like that went unnoticed so I went ahead and give them a call today and after the vulgar conversation, he gave me I decided that I ultimately had a write a review. Overall, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail makes it hard to recommend this shop. I will provide photos below to show that I am a true customer and not a fake reviewer.

i took a 2002 escalade to have my transmission done back in the mide of 2020. i didnt have a year…read moreon it when my transmission started to slip between 1st and 2nd. i called the shop and voiced my concerns because they gave me a 3 year warranty. i was told it was the tps sensor and there was no way it could be my transmission. i parked my car for almost a year and decided to have my trans done again by another shop. when i got my truck back, the mechanic told me the old transmission had a bunch of worn out parts and that there was no way they could be less than a year old. additionally, some of the solenoids were burned out and that an electrical plug that was glued in. i lost 1300.00 taking my truck to this shop. lousy work.

Brought in my 2003 Infiniti G35 because it was leaking fluid between the engine & tranny. They told me it was the rear main seal & it's a lot of money to repair because they have to remove the transmission. When I got it back it was STILL LEAKING! Then they played it off saying it was the crankshaft seal & the warranty doesn't cover that since it's part of the engine. Stay far away from these guys, they will say it's one thing when it's the other without proper diagnosing just to make a quick buck. Terrible Puro pinche mickey mouse
