I don't often write bad reviews, but PawProject deserves one. I took my dog to PawProject for…read moreheartworm testing and eval for dental cleaning. After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.

I had cats in…read morethe past and they lived a long life 19-21 years old and I have NEVER abandoned a pet and have perfect Vet records. Every pet I inquired about, I was told it was already adopted by someone else. Because they have so many animals, I kept trying but again, was told each time it was already adopted. They never reached out to try to let me know when a cat came in that I was looking for or followed up or anything. I ended up getting a cat from a Chattanooga rescue group who was so nice and drove her here to Atlanta for me! I also own my house and dote on my pets and treat them as family members. I also drove up to their compound and looked at the cats there and it made me sad, they were in small plastic "kitty condos" - and it is a very nice facility but they could have made larger cages with all the money they spent. Cats do not like confined areas at all!

She wasn't pushy like other places we had visited. Meagan really has a genuine love for her pups. We went in looking for a Poodle and ended up with a Maltipoo. My girls and especially my wife were in love at first sight. There was just a peace in knowing she was the one for us. After being in our family for several days now, that peace has been confirmed even more. Cali or Callie (we haven't decided on the spelling yet) is her name since we're from there. I recently brought home two teacup Yorkshire Terriers, and I am absolutely in love with them. From the moment I picked them up, I could tell how much love and care had gone into raising them. One of them, Tiny, went straight to the pee wee pad when we got home--such a smart little guy! His older brother Titan loves to cuddle and falls asleep in my sisters arms when she hold him. Seeing how they behave really shows how well they're cared for and prepped before going to their forever homes. I went with my mother who is disabled and elderly to adopt a dog. They refused to adopt the dog we…read morewere interested in or any other dogs to her because she is disabled and elderly. I even explained I would take full responsibility of the dog in case her age was an issue in the future. They still refused. The person in charge even sent the poor front desk clerk to give us the message because she was in a sudden meeting. Yeah right! I would never, ever adopt from these judgy condescending people. I have worked with a couple of non-profit animal adoption organizations, and as long as the elderly or disabled person has a backup option, they will adopt to them. Thankfully, another agency actually worked with us, and we adopted the cutest, sweetest little dog ever.

Everyone, every time, has been great, even the volunteers. I've been there to tour the facility many times, and play with the cats many more, and every time everyone is accommodating and awesome! Even during covid, and when they knew we were only visiting, they were happy to take the time to show us the dogs. That said, I try to donate every time through the donation scanner up front, and when I've received the wrong pet food, I always donate it to this facility.
